I grew up on Burger King McDonald's, but I could tell you one thing when I discover sonic my life change forever this sonic and Miami Gardens in particular I have a love-hate relationship with the sonic some days the service is amazing. You get your food on time. The food tastes great/are amazing and you know you go about your day some days I ask myself why do I keep coming here because your order get messed up a customer service is not always the best. The ambience is it again it's up and down. Sometimes they rollerblade of food to you. Sometimes they walk it just needs to be more consistent regardless of high feel about that. I love this sonic and I'm a give this right here a four star at the same time. I'm really giving it a 3 1/2 star I've had almost everything on the menu but my favorite part of sonic is the breakfast. I love the breakfast burrito. I love tater tots and I love me a peach slushy. If you're have an area definitely try to spot out. Don't have high hopes. Just go get the food and go. read more

The drive up said "We'll be right with you" however the manager lied and said it told us the drive up was closed. We pleaded for manager and was told they had to clean to close at 2. I work in the service industry and this is unheard of, closing early to close at the closing time?? I cannot make this up. This really happened today at Sonic # 6312 in Miami Gardens FL @ exactly 1:13pm EST with cashier Essence and General Manager Kissis (that's how she pronounced her name). This was a terrifying customer experience that I will never forget. I was wearing gloves and as I placed my order I simply asked for a fork with my fries. Essence (who rolled her eyes as me before I even spoke), screamed "what??!!" I repeated myself and asked for a fork with my fries and paid for it. She closed the window and started laughing at me with her co-workers because the window was not closed all the way. When she returned I thanked her for my order and calmly told her "I think you should know that you are being very rude." She yelled back at me "Girrrrrrrrllllll, you're rude!" She kept repeating Girrllllll over and over. I asked for the manager who came to the window and as I was trying to describe what happened Essence interrupted me and said "I'll go get my grandmother to beat you up." She said this twice. At this point, I calmly told Kissis "I don't need to continue any further, you can see for yourself how she is speaking to me." Essence replied "you look like a virus." All of this is because I simply asked for a fork with my French fries. When I contacted corporate they referred me back to local restaurant. When I called there Kissis remembered me. I mentioned that I felt she didnt have a sense of control of the restaurant since she let Essence call me names and threaten to do bodily harm. She hung up on me. I asked for corporate to pull the audio/video of this transaction for coaching and hopefully immediate termination for both Essence and Kissis. The wait to order was a little ridiculous. We parked in a stall and pressed the little red button to order, but it was about a 10 minute wait until someone even came on the speaker to take our order. I've never experience this before, usually people are more prompt to take your order. Then when our food came out, our tator tots were a little cold and not crispy at all. I've never been a Sonic fan. Never really saw what all of the hype was. What I can say is the community was very happy about this location opening up. As I go to church in the area, my son and I frequent this location after church to get our happy hour slushier. Otherwise we probably wouldn't come since it is out of the way. The time we came, they had given a lot of deals on the app. My son and I got two meals and I don't think I even paid $5. I recommend anyone to use the app. Not too many as before or maybe I don't notice them as I only view the app when I'm coming from church. I'm not a huge corndog fan but one Sunday I saw that if you ordered something they were giving free corndogs. Very delicious and crispy as I would like it if I ate them on a regular. The slushies are also good and right on time with this year round, I mean summertime heat. I always order ahead and pick it up at one of the stalls. So I decided to give it another try and it was pretty good. They serve everything on the menu all day including breakfast. We ordered a bagel with egg, sausage and cheese, fries, hotdog, bbq boneless wings with French vanilla iced coffee to drink. Everything was served hot and fresh.
