Ok, to begin. I was enjoying my day off of school and was bored. So my two friends and I got on our electric bikes and went for a ride. We began to get hungry so we pondered on where to go. After much pondering we decided to pay a visit to sonic. So after we arrived we placed our order and I myself got a triple sonic smasher meal with tater tots and a mello yellow. The service was great the carhop Ashley was a very nice woman and said if we need anything just ask her. And after I payed her for the food I opened the bag. The cheeseburger was very hot, cheesy and crispy on the outside of the burger which is exactly how I preferred it. The tater tots were also very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with lots of flavor. Now during my meal, this is where the ambiance comes into play. As I was eating I began to notice that there was a truck on the opposite side of the establishment. I asked Ashley what the truck was for draining the SWEAGE PIPES. So as I was eating, an unbearable disgusting horrid gut wrenching stench coming from the drains. As I kept eating it went from putting my shirt over my nose, to plugging my nose, to quite literally GAGGING. I was forced to shove the burger down my throat and we instantly had to get out of there before I was going to throw up. If it was not for the atmosphere this sonic would be a 5 star review, but for that, I am forced to give it a 3. Thank you all I hope this helps. read more

This location has gone way downhill. The longer wait times have become more consistent. I did a mobile order and checked in when I got there a few minutes later. It almost immediately told me my food was in the way. I thought sweet! 25 minutes later I checked with them to see if they were bringing out my order and they said they'll have it right out. Another 8 minutes later my food came out warm like it had been sitting there the past 20 minutes. They also forgot my pickle fries. I really wish this location wouldn't cheat their times and just let me know when the food is actually on the way. read more

I came here to the Newburgh location to get a few corndogs and a garlic butter bacon burger with NO CHEESE. I was greeted by a very unprofessional and rude employee named Hanna at stall 20, she was taking my order and couldn't even order what I needed to without being cut off by her asking "OK WHAT ELSE??!! Furthermore, when my food came out the burger had cheese on it after I made sure twice no cheese. I point out the issue to Hannah and say "hey I made sure twice this has no cheese and it still came out with cheese" just for Hannah to rudely go "well those burgers don't come without cheese"... I ordered it last time with no cheese so what's the issue just leave the cheese off? So after making my argument she goes to get it remade after hastily walking off. My food comes out the second time and it's correct but we're back to the same rude and unprofessional behavior. I then ask for her name; and she asks me "why do you need my name" I said "because I think you've been very rude towards me and that's not how a customer should be treated!!". After having to explain my self, which a patron should never have to do, she finally gave me her name and looked at my mom and I with a dirty look!! I drove off after spending 20 mins at your store and wrapped around the diner just to find Hannah and her manager KYLEENA standing there close to where you drive by trying to start a CONFRONTATION with a customer, both of them smirking and smiling I asked if there's an issue just to be greeted by the manager Kyleena getting pretty close to my moms personal space in her face. Before it got heated we drove off and said we will be making a report and they continued to smirk and try to provoke an issue with us!! Needless to say, we won't be back, 15 years old or not you don't get to talk to customers and treat them like that when making a simple request for their food... Wife and I went there last night about 9:00. 9/6/22. First of all, let me preface this by saying any fast food after 4:00 pm is risky as far as good quality food. The service was quick and friendly mainly in part due to food cooked 2 hours ahead. The burger was cold. The meat had been sitting in a tray or something for a looong time. Fries were cold. Big red soda was fine. What is it going to take to just have them cook to order or don't hold product in warmer for more than 10 minutes. $15 later and I would say it was beyond the trash can quality. Come on owners ! You can do better. Spot check these restaurants for food quality. If I have to wait a few minutes more I don't care. Won't go back again. read more

Amazing!! Food is great (albeit a little greasy), the people there are super nice and helpful. And it's not noisy apart from cars!

This place used to be the best place to stop for drinks - now it's just okay. They've changed the menu up a bit (RIP Chicken Club Toaster) but the drink menu is largely the same. Happy hour is great when you can get there - all drinks are half price. This particular location seems a bit slower than the others, especially in Evansville. My usual order - sweet tea with raspberry - is always different here (either too much or too little syrup) so buyer beware if you're looking for consistency. Hoping this is just a lull with some of the folks that are working there and it will come back to its old glory. read more

Do not bother with this place, it is not worth your time or money. I've gone here three times in the last few years because I apparently have not learned my lesson. Every time I have gone I have had to leave because when I press the button to order we are either ignored or the staff shut off the intercom without so much as saying a word to us. There is no other way to order either as there is no service window or drive thru at this location. It amazes me that this place is still in business read more

Waited 27 mins for a small blast and a cherry limeade. Had to remind them at the 25 minute mark that we were still waiting on our order and was brought a melted blast and watered down lemonade. I sent the blast back for a fresh one but my husband was too nice to ask for the correct drink. read more

I am actually livid about the experience I just had at this sonic. My boyfriend, a friend and I had just finished a 12 hour road trip from SC. We stopped at sonic for dinner on our way home. After getting our food, I asked my boyfriend to pull around and park so I could check the bag and make sure we had everything, considering it was a relatively big order. While I was checking the bag, my boyfriend got out and threw out our old Panera drinks from our drive and the sonic cup holder so that we could have room for the drinks we just got. I noticed we were missing two tater tots and a corn dog. When he came back to the car, we wrapped around to the drive thru and told them what we were missing. A young woman with light hair and a black polo pulled up our order. She said she "swore" she put them in a bag that we were never given. She said that someone "saw a grey car sitting in the parking lot and they hard already thrown out their garbage." I told her that we parked over there for me to check the order. She then further accused us of basically eating the food we were missing? I felt very disrespected and it was the worst experience I have had at this Sonic. I hate this place the more and more I come to it. You have to repeat yourself four times to even order here. I told the person taking my order I needed one second and this "insert not-so-nice adjective" HUNG UP ON ME. The ice cream machine has been broken for over a week. I literally come here to get ice cream and drinks. Sucks! The only reason I come back is bc my boyfriend likes the wings but when I introduce him to wing etc, he won't probably ever want to come back either. It will be quite some time before I chose to eat here again. Just horrible. read more
