I live right by this Sonic so I thought it'd be fine to take it home and it'd be okay, but the quality dipped a lot from the short drive home. We wanted to try a few apps/snacky items, so we ordered the mozzarella sticks, a corndog, and the buffalo chicken dip bites. The Buffalo Chicken Dip Bites (which I think are a limited time thing) were my favorite item of the apps. The outer shell is almost like a thin pretzely type dough, and it's crimped around the interior mixture of buffalo sauce and shredded chicken. The breading is buttery and crispy, but still easy to tear into two bites or bite into without breaking a tooth. These are super good to dip in some of their ranch dressing, so ask for that! Now the corn dog is the classic Sonic item, and it was pretty standard. I got their Signature Sauce and it was pretty good to dip the corn dog in, but if you like just classic corn dog style, you can request ketchup or honey mustard, etc. The Mozzarella Sticks seemed to not survive the trip very well, because they were sort of "snappy" (with no cheese pull at all, even after heating them up a little). Sort of like a breaded cheese stick! For burgers we both got the standard Sonic Cheeseburger. Very classic drive-in burger that definitely hit the spot. The burgers came with Tots or "Groovy" fries. I chose the fries and they were tasty, with a little seasoning on them and were similar to shoestring fries almost but wavy. I got the "Groovy" sauce with them and it was similar to Big Mac sauce but a tad spicy. We also grabbed some Sonic treats, of course: I got the Grape Slush and added blue raspberry to it. It was tasty but kind of tasted like kids flavored cough syrup LOL My husband got a chocolate shake with cherries on the top. You can't go wrong with a classic like that. I would say Sonic's a lot better than some other drive through options, but it's best if you can eat it there while it's fresh! read more

A few weeks ago I stopped by at 2:30 in the afternoon. The parking lot was empty, I pulled up to the speaker and the person on the speaker wanted me to drive around the building and come back. The person was likely a teenager or early 20s and had quite the attitude. I declined to drive around the building as an exercise. This person welcomed my forthcoming review. I have had my fair share of poor customer service experiences especially in fast food settings. Especially by young people. This particular location has a chronic issue with inept, rude young people. Each time I try to visit - which may be once a year - I get a hot dog w ketchup and mustard and they always find a way of getting the toppings wrong. And sloppily spilling all over the place. Worst service I've ever had at a Sonic. I placed my order, paid for it, and waited. After 20 minutes, I called back in to find out they had lost my order (even though the debit charge cleared my bank). They apologized and said they would bring it out right away. Waited another 15 minutes and had to call back in again. Said they didn't have an order for me. I had to explain again that I ordered and paid for it 35 minutes ago and this was now my 3rd time asking for it. 5 minutes later it finally arrived. They apologized (again) and offered me coupons. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review so just know I have had multiple bad experiences at this location. This was the straw that broke the camels back. I pull into a stall and press the button. I wait about 6 minutes. Then someone comes on and says "hey your friend is here" What??? So I press the button again and wait about 3 more minutes and then they say "no literally jack is here" WHAT??? I press the button AGAIN and wait a few more minutes and then give up. I have the app and I use it regularly because I get happy hour pricing on my drinks at any time of day. This is usually such a treat as I run errands, get my car washed, leaving the gym, so many ways to brighten up my day with a custom drink that I really enjoy. However lately, they have been having so many issues with their app. I should be able to order and schedule a time and have it conveniently close to being ready when I arrive. I log that I have arrived and the drink and any other items are out a minute or two later. Unfortunately with their app being down this is not an option. After trying to place my order for more than five minutes, I realized the app is probably the issue, AGAIN. so I pushed the button and called for assistance. I asked if I could just place my order through them and they said sure. Then notified me that they are not able to give me the pricing I would have if their app was working. I'm confused as to why I should pay a higher price when it's their issue. I remember when customers were taking care of when they were inconvenienced. I didn't ask for anything additional I just asked for what was expected. Moving here from out of state, I had a lot of options. I used to go to Swig, Sodalicious, & Soda Rush. Without any of those options, I was grateful when I found sonic, this is just a major letdown. I am so frustrated that after waiting in line and the churro shake which is advertised as shake or 5 piece churro for $1.49. I was told $6.53 at the register, the person that serviced me advised me that the advertisement was for the churros only not a shake. I asked him to look at it. Well, I ordered on at the store location, but I wanted to use Apple Pay so I logged into the mobile application and did the same order and paid for it and I tried to check in at the stall and it didnt allow me to. because I was already parked in the stall. I pulled up to the drive thru at 7:28 pm. There were 2 cars ahead of me. I get to the speaker and no one acknowledged me. I waited for over 5 minutes and finally drove to the window. I got to the window and it took a second for them to open it. I said I was at the speaker for over 5 minutes, her response was we were busy. There were only 5 cars at the kiosks. I have been to this sonic when they are really busy and they still acknowledge you and say I will be right with you. She took my order at 7:37 pm, a # 10 & a 12' coney. While waiting on my order she was on her cell phone, singing and dancing with other employees. I finally received my order at 7:46 pm. I was at this establishment for 18 minutes. For a drive thru fast food joint that is an extremely long wait especially when they are NOT that busy. They need to learn better customer service skills & communication. read more

I've been to this location a lot this summer for their slushies. Very refreshing and lots of flavors to choose from. We usually have a pretty good experience. The customer service is never that friendly and the lines are slow most of the time, but the drinks are always great. (Don't waste your time on the food in my opinion, it all tasted like grease. Just grease. It coats your tongue it's so much grease. Did I mention all I tasted was grease?) Any who.. Me and the family went here about a week ago, I ordered the same slushie I always get. (Lemon berry slush with nerds candies) my husband and son also ordered a slush. Once we got the drinks and drove away, I was on it to put in the straws and hand them out accordingly. My husband's was fine. My son's was fine. I took a drink of mine when we were back on maple heading home. I tasted nothing! I opened the lid and it was pure white! This drink is usually very red and you can see nerds and strawberry chunks throughout. My husband turned around and went back through. The guy who took our order the first time came outside so we didnt have to wait in the very long line again, which was nice. He handed us the new slushie and we drove away. This one was better but still was lacking in flavor. I dont know if they were running out of the ingredients to make it how it should be made or what? Needless to say I wasnt very pleased with either drink I was given that day and did not finish my drink. When we got home I checked my son's and his wasn't very well made either. It had barely any syrup in it and it looked like it needed to be mixed together because there was pure white ice that had no flavor throughout. The best thing about Sonic is 1) breakfast anytime, and 2) rewards and specials often. It's simply fast food, but there's plenty of variety. The prices are a bit steep, but the portions are sizeable.
