I had Coneflower visiting a few years ago over at the blackstone location and I remember it being really good. This location is just a few mins away from where we're staying in the Omaha area. Parking here can be a little tight and off the main strip of businesses. I remember the Blackstone location being cramped when it was busy and its the same here. But service was great and super friendly. They have rotating flavors. I dont remember what I had before, but this time I got the Thai tea and it taste just like Thai tea, but it seemed a little grainy to me, but good nonetheless. My fiancé sampled the tart cherry crumble and was instantly sold. My only issue is that it can be hard to find parking and it gets cramped. 4.5 rounded up to 5. read more

Big fan of Coneflower since they opened their first location in Blackstone. Happy to say that this Elkhorn location is just as good as the other locations! There is free street parking and the shop is part of a mini strip mall. The inside doesn't have much seating, but there is a picnic table and a few benches outside. I love how I'm never rushed when deciding which flavor I want. My favorite flavor has always been the tart cherry crumble & Granada Minnie's lemon bar. The rotating flavors are always fun to try, but I always come back to those two flavors as my favorite. read more

One of my favorite icecream spots! I've stopped by here quite a few times now since discovering it. I love that they change out the flavors fairly often. I'm not sure I've ever had a bad one... Workers are always very friendly. There isn't a whole lot of seating but you can usually find a spot. You'll see me again! :) read more

Just a quaint local ice cream shoppe, this location tucked into the main st of Elkhorn. Think 25deg temps would discourage ice cream consumption for the masses? Think again! On Saturday night there was a line out the door at 7pm, and the wait was worth it. We chose this spot for their creamy peppermint bark flavor. It hit the spot and served with friendly smiles and an efficiency that kept the line moving. Amazing. Same great flavors as the Blackstone location. Same commitment to local farmers and sources. Similar digs, too, though this location seems a tad larger inside, and has two restrooms. Nice, walkable location, with lots of interesting shops with different offerings in the area: BBQ, a Scandinavian store, an art gallery, wine cellar, even a pottery shop. I just went with plain ice creams, this time, no toppings. The lemon verbena (gluten free) was delectable. A mild lemony herbaceous flavor, not overpowering at all, so very pleasant and refreshing for a hot day. The golden milk (vegan, gluten free) seemed to melt faster than the milk-based ice cream, but the flavor was soo good. Cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg, and the expected floral turmeric all combine to a wonderful, sweet effect. I tried one of the fizzy lemonades, too. Very natural, very delicious, super refreshing. 10/10 read more

Visiting the new location, and love the seating they have inside and out! The store seems to flow nicely, with a side exit so you don't have to swim upstream with the crowd! The employees were super busy, but very helpful and accommodating, very similar vibe to the downtown location. The olive oil sundae was interesting, never would have thought that pairing would work, but it was pretty good. I stuck to my favorites, coffee and dark chocolate & loved it! Parking stinks in old town Elkhorn, but we somehow managed to arrive just as a prime spot opened! Be prepared to wait in a line, esp if you're going after dinner time in the summer! read more

I stopped by their soft opening over Memorial Day and it was SO much fun! It was a nice afternoon, and what a beautiful location! Right on Old Towns main street, my kids and I waited in a long line outside the store. They were serving from their infamous ice cream cart and it was fantastic. Even without entering the main store, the experience was wonderful. Classic flavor, and wonderful service. Glad to have the #1 spot closer to me! We'll definitely be back to see in the inside. read more

well... everyone knows i'm a coneflower FINATIC, so of course my husband and i were there promptly upon the opening of the newest elkhorn location. I am sooo obsessed with everything about this location - they did a great job keeping the heart, personality, & authenticity of the original location as well as adding a few spins and flares on it. The colors alone make you happy the minute you step inside, and this location always smells like sunday morning waffles. They are always so kind and I just can't get over how good this place is. Everything is fresh, curated to perfection, and you can taste the quality with every bite. Homemade just does it better! My top flavors are midnight blackberry, raspberry cream pie & raspberry oatmeal cookie, tart cherry crumble, vanilla bean (the perfect balancer), and malted chocolate. But let's be real... i fricken love nearly them all. Thank God for bringing Omaha the gift of Coneflower! pro tip : get there before 4... any day basically, but especially on the weekends so you aren't standing a block down the street in line. I honestly think this location is busier than any other, so if you go after 4 expect a long line. read more

I really like the variety of indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a perfect stop in any season. If you're wondering what to try, I highly recommend the Butterbrickle ice cream. Love that they opened a coneflower creamery in downtown Elkhorn. I have always wanted to try Coneflower but just wasn't able to make it to the midtown location. So this is a welcomed spot closer to home! The parlor is small and spacious, but the business is busy and can feel a little crowded but outdoor seating is available or you can even grab a pint of ice cream to go. The staff was amazing, friendly, professional, fast while keeping the long line moving! The ice cream here is excellent and I would rate it among if not the best in Omaha! I had the butterbrickle and the cinnamon cheesecake crunch and would recommend either one. read more

This place is such a great addition to Elkhorn. The space is clean and bright and the old school uniforms are adorable! The ice cream is outstanding! Best we have had in the Omaha area, for hard scooped ice cream. We had the lemon bar which has pieces of the best homemade lemon bars in it, and butter brickle which has a hint of salt in the toffee pieces within the creamiest ice cream base. This place should do well with local foot traffic but is also worth a trip off the main road, to old Elkhorn. read more
