I was in pearland and stopped by Sonic for happy hour and grab the lil girl a snack. I ordered a corn dog kids meal and a single corn dog with a strawberry slush. There was no line and I was in and out in a flash. The corn dogs were lamp warm but were very rubbery and tasted old like it was made and sat under heat lamps, the fries were the worse they were cold and very hard. I asked for mustard and was informed they had no mustard how can you serve food and don't have a packet of mustard? Who eat a corn dog with no mustard? Was very disappointed in this location. Sonic Slushy to cool the day! After retuning from trip downtown to complete some photography, I decided to get something cold and refreshing and of course why not Sonic with their wide array of flavors. After a 20 min ride, I pulled up to the drive through around 8:40pm cst, I sat for a while to be recognized and ask hello several times and was not recognized at the drive through speaker. There was a Black SUV already sitting at the window, so I decided to pull over to one of the ordering booths. The car behind me pulled off. I proceeded by pushing the red button and waited again. After a few minutes of no response here, I decided I would just go somewhere else. However, I could not omit the fact that in my driving away, I saw at least 5 to 6 employees in the facility. So, I am not sure what was really going on, it just would have been nice to hear a response from the other side of either device, even if I was being asked to wait a few minutes more. If there was a lower rating than 1 I would give a -5 star. They constantly cancel Uber eats orders and their service is very slow compared to any other sonic in town. I called to ask why my order was canceled and the lady just hung up the phone one me. I am not sure if it's the management or just poor employees that don't care. I wish I could give them a negative review. I will NEVER return and I repeat NEVER! I arrived through the drive through. Waited for 5 minutes and no one came on the intercom (No sign saying OUT OF ORDER) I drive around and pulled through one of the open slots. I proceeded to push the red button and someone with an attitude came on the intercom. I asked for 2 medium cherry limeade SLUSHES & 1 blue coconut SLUSHY. The price was $7.89 (What? For 3 slushees; ok it's hot so whatever) When the carhop gentleman came to my vehicle, he came with drinks instead of slushes. When I informed him I ordered SLUSHES, he said he could change them out. Minutes later he came back and said "That would be a price increase" ‍ Again, it's hot and my kids and I are still waiting. He finally came back and said the price was $9.50 (For 3 slushes???) Terrible service and after reading reviews, how in the world are they still open? I went thru drive thru and waited a few minutes before anyone came on the speaker to take my order, which I thought was odd because they had zero customers. I ordered 4 corn dogs, 2 large fries, and a large cranberry slush. I pull up to pick up area, put it in park, and watch one of their employees on break walk over to Chic-Filet, order his food, and come back with it and I said how in the heck did you go order your food and come back with it before anyone here even comes out to collect my payment or see me period. I'm always enticed by their cheap food and half off deals, so that would explain why I'm back again seeking yet another milkshake. Tonight, I decided to give their app a try, which works well, except that it's still limited to the same service and quality once you get to the store. The stall gave me an updated status, moving from the kitchen to being on its way out. But 5 minutes later, still nothing. When I did finally get my shake, it's half cream, and the cookies never made it past the bottom. If you're looking for cheap food, this is a good stop. Sonic at 10101 Broadway in Pearland, Texas. I would prefer to not give this restaurant any stars but it looks like they make you give it at least one star. We had purchased over $30.00 in breakfasts for the family and when we got home we discovered the food was hard as in overcooked or had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. None of us could eat it. I called and tried to complain to management but I could never talk to a manager. I called the corporate number and was told the restaurant was no longer open. I told them that was not true because I had just been there! Finally they offered my a free French fry the next time I go. I was shocked. I spend over $30 for food and you want to replace that with one French fry???? Now I clearly see why their restaurants are never bustling with business! And the Carhop replies oh that's not what how we do things here. Last time I went my order took twenty minutes to complete and there was not a lot of cars in the lot. I got home and my wife's burger which was to be ketchup, cheese and pickles came with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and NO PATTY. When I drove back they apologized but offered no extras (fries, dessert) other than to fix my burger to make amends.
