The cashier entered the wrong amount of money into the register ( intentionally / unintentionally who knows) and when my husband brought it to his attention he argued him down... as if people don't know how much money they have And then when we called the owner of course he sided with the cashier ... no attempt to make it right . No apology nothing . So we returned the purchase and won't ever return ... I guess they count on customers not paying attention. Maybe that's how they make their tips but whatever the case pay close attention to your receipts if you visit this place ... buyer beware! UPDATE!!! My husband really felt bad about how the interaction went down last night and reached out to the store owner personally. He was very gracious ( as he always has been) and they were able resolve the issue. First off, we were warmly greeted by numerous employees. As we browsed the aisles, we commented on how CLEAN and organized the store is. This Spec's has a good variety of liquor, a decent selection of wine and just an ok selection of beer. My husband doesn't drink alcohol and we didn't see ANY NA beer. For this aspect, we thought that Total Wine had a huge advantage over Spec's. Total wine is a larger store which allows for more options. As for prices, I think they're pretty normal. They also give a 5% discount if you pay in cash. Overall, I think I would stop back if I needed tequila to make margaritas.
