Nothing tasted fresh. The fries tasted rancid, like they haven't changed the oil in at least a week. The buns on my wife's cheeseburger was so soggy, it stuck to the box. It got my wife's hand gooey and slimy. My hamburger was average at best. I ordered iced tea, they added so much ice that I only got 2 straws full. Considering how hot it was I was angry and my wife said "this is gross." This was our second time at Sonic and it is our last. How they stay in business we have no clue. I got to this sonic at 8:03 pm according to my Life360 I just got home at 8:37 pm and my drive was 4 minutes. What I'm saying is I was in the drive through line the entire time. Took forever to take our order, then they gave us our food and we were missing items of our order, while we were waiting for our missing food we saw someone licking their fingers while making ice cream, and then to top it off the missing item we were waiting on was made incorrectly. Sonic has one of the worst services in town. We ordered online and checked in when we got there. We still ended up waiting over thirty minutes for our order. We buzzed the red button again after waiting over 30 minutes for 3 corndogs, 2 chili dogs with extra chili, and 2 large tots. From the info we got from the person we talked to the 2nd time, the order was just sitting up there waiting to be brought out. When they brought it out we ended up with our order and someone else's meal. we gave back the order that wasn't ours and we asked about fresh tots since ours were really cold. the lady just walked away. NO sorry NO anything. This is why I don't eat there much anymore. Shame on you Sonic. Heading home to eat our cold food. read more

I love our Sonic that's just north of us, on 72nd St. The French toast sticks are always fresh and crispy; tasting like something you remember from the fair, like funnel cake. I love the strawberry cream which is a combination of ice cream and strawberry slushy. There are pieces of real strawberry in their strawberry cream, which makes it even better! The only thing that I have had that wasn't up to par, were the tater tots. It seems they are never very warm, and they tasted of stale oil. This was a perfect place to go during Covid because you can pull up and order right from your car, and stay right in your little stall and enjoy your meal. There are also trees in their parking a lot, so that made it extra nice. The workers are always very nice and you can tell they have fun working there. read more

Don't let any of the good reviews convince you that this is a decent place to eat. Don't use the app, don't order from here. Literally, boycott. We placed a mobile order 45 minutes ago, and it said the food was ready and "Zak" was bringing it out. We waited for about 10 minutes after the screen reset and pressed the button in the stall screen. After waiting for several minutes a girl answered and said they were still making our food and that it would be right out. 30 minutes later, no food, and no way to get a refund and cancel the order. We pressed the button in the stall again and after waiting 5 minutes someone answered and asked to take our order. We asked when our food would be out and they said "shortly," and disconnected the line. We waited about 10 more minutes and my husband went inside to get the food, but the door was locked and we were unable to get anything. We left after sitting for an hour and will be calling corporate to see how we can get a refund. It looks like the place was vandalized as most of the screens in the stalls aren't working. After experiencing their sorry excuse for "service," it's not surprising. This location would be better off closing than trying to continue running a business at this point. If the workers are on strike, more power to you. At least tell people what's going on so they don't waste their time and money getting absolutely nothing. read more

Their service is horrible!!!! A bunch of out of order screens where you pull in to order. I love Sonic but hate the Sonic on W 34th in Sioux Falls SD. I came here from Texas where our Sonic was great! This one here has been extremely disappointing!! Have not been back for 2 years and according to recent reviews I read they have not improved.
