Everyone has been to Chili's at some point. Their menu has changed over time. They are known for burgers, Mexican food, chicken strips and chili. They have a bar area and regular dining area. This location was very nice when it first opened, then went down hill, but seems to have improved again. You can get meal deals for $10 per person which isn't bad. I went to lunch with one of my younger sisters on Monday and the service was not good! At first our waiter was nice but he kept going on his phone and ignoring us when we were ready to order and get refills boxes to go. He wasn't very knowledgable about the menu when we asked about the sauces we could get on the mozzarella sticks. My sister is only 16 and he kept touching her shoulder and hair when he was joking around but it made her very uncomfortable even jokingly. I'm glad the other waitresses brought out our drinks and food even if it was cold but he sounded mad at one when she told him there was more to help with (and cussed at her which was rude in front of us and it was for his tables we think). We went to the bathroom and it smelled and the toilet wouldn't flush all the way. The music was very loud and we had a hard time talking to each other. We had to ask another waitress to help us with our check so we pay and could leave and she was very nice. When we asked our waiter to talk to a manager on our way out he said there wasn't one at the restaurant. We were so excited to eat there after seeing all the yummy tiktoks but the waiter really turned us away from coming back again :( read more

I was so looking forward to a decent steak. Now I understand that chain restaurants aren't going to be the most quality beef, but for $25 I should have been able to eat it. A mid rare rib eye. The temp was good. But the texture of this "steak " felt like a mechanically separated, pressed together, formed into a steak shape, cooked and served. I expressed exactly that to my server and there was not much of a response. I ate less than a 1/3 of it and the broccoli from my plate. Slid it aside and it sat on the edge of my table for 1/2 hour, zero questions from 2!!! yes 2 managers who walked by and looked at it. It was TERRIBLE!!! And I'm not sure if I'm most upset about the lack of quality of the food or the absence of customer service in this location. I'll not be back. There's not much positive to say, but I'll try: Pros: - The server was friendly, if distracted and slow. Cons; -Service was incredibly slow. Some items that we requested never even showed up and when our waiter asked if we'd received them, we had to let him know that it no longer mattered since our food was now cold. - Most of the food was either over or undercooked. I ordered shrimp on a steak and the shrimp never arrived (though it definitely made it onto our bill!) - The facility looked really run down. The doors outside are not fully painted and on the inside look incredibly dirty. TLDR: For such poor food quality and service, we won't be back. It's not worth the prices paid. read more

I originally posted this on Google Reviews but felt compelled to download Yelp again to post here, so I copied and pasted: I am so surprised to have such a poor experience at Chili's, one of my family's favorite and go-to places. We showed up a half hour before they closed after 10+ hours on the road moving our parents across the country, and with them being the only sit down restaurant open at the time. We were met with a waitress (I believe her name is Jen) who greeted us huffy and puffy because how dare we had the audacity to show up at that time, right? As a waitress myself, and my husband as a full-time chef, we get the frustration, but she crossed the line when she continued by asking if we could finish our food in the next half hour (implying eat and leave) without even trying to cover up that ugly attitude. Then she was further irritated because what she thought was just 2 of us who went ahead of our parents, was actually 5. How dare we be a family needing food after a really long day (definitely meant sarcastically). She then still seated us (why bother if it's really such a problem), slammed our menus down, and gave out quite the dirty look that if it was not obvious we were not welcomed by then, we definitely knew then. My family and I felt so uncomfortable that we didn't even get our appetizer before we asked for all of our food to go so we could just enjoy it at our hotel. It was 9:45 pm, after all, and hadn't received our food that how could we possibly be done by the required time set by her? One star given for the server that actually waited on us, David. We could tell he was tired and pushing through, but he still tried his best, even offered lemons in our water, was speedy when we requested our food to go. I'm really sorry if we had taken out our frustration out on him because we were still reeling from the hostility of the one that seated us we hadn't quite recovered enough. Another star given for the manager, Katrina, who took the time to listen to our complaint and assured us that we were not asking for too much on our end. She said she would speak with this server but judging by the other bad reviews related to the service within the last few months, I doubt this will really improve anything. It's a shame that this one server ruined the whole experience and for David to show-off his great service! We paid using the fancy table kiosk and got the heck out of there ASAP! We enjoyed the food, the kitchen staff took great care even though it was close to closing. Again, I get that we all have bad days, I have them too as a waitress. But when you come to work, you have to learn the art of separating life from work. If you don't, then your whole life just sucks and you make it suck for everybody else, including your coworkers. I really try to find something stellar about my experience at places so I can write good reviews but I was so SHOCKED that I want other customers to BEWARE. We always talk about Sioux Falls and how everyone and all the businesses we have gone to in the past are so welcoming and friendly that we didn't see an issue bringing our parents and brother there for the first time. I'm nearly at 2 stars here. We were seated and promptly ignored. We were not assigned a waitress, so we waited 15 minutes before interrupting another waitress who offered to get our drinks and check to see if she could find our waitress. 20 minutes later 3 of us had water and two if us still sat drinkless. (We got coffee), we ordered and our food came out very slowly 45 minutes after we'd originally arrived. When we got our food we didn't have napkins or silverware, rough. The waitress was trying to keep ahead of our needs, but it was obvious that she was getting run ragged. For being a chain restaurant, we honestly couldn't complain! I haven't eaten at a Chili's in years. Our server was awesome and extremely attentive. Had great recommendations and was overall on top of his game. I ordered the monthly margarita which was an apple flavor and was delicious! Hubby got his normal beer! Ordered chips and salsa to start. I really wish they offered this free like most Mexican restaurants but it isn't super expensive, and with those margaritas, we needed a snack! I ordered the quesadilla explosion salad which I loved! The dressing was on the salad but wasn't overpowering and didn't make it soggy. Hubby got a burger and said it was pretty good! Ordered to go, we've eaten at Chilli's in MN and LOVE it, our go to place. Can't say that about this location. Ordered one of our burgers with sauce on the side well they decided to put NO sauce on it or on the side! Buffalo chicken burger was so overcooked the one side was dry and hard. When we came to pick up our order, saw it sitting on the back counter but no one around. After about 3 minutes peaked around the corner and asked if we could get some help! When I got the food back to the hotel, No silverware not even 1 napkin! Don't think I will bother visiting this place next time I'm in town! read more
