I called to have some work done on my son's car and this company said they would be able to do the work so I set up an appointment with them. When the day came they never showed up. I thought they would just be late but they never showed up. I called them and they said they are not going to come because they could not do the work on that year car. They committed to doing the work over the phone and when they found out they could not do the work they never thought to call and say they are not coming. W.T.F. Who runs a business like that! They said the person who I spoke to did not know they would not be able to do the work and he should not have made the appointment. Called office for a quote, which was $100. They also said locksmith would be there in 20 minutes. Called 2 more time only to be told 20 mins 2 more times the tech arrives starts the job 5 minutes in says it will now be $300. Then he said I don't have a lock to replace your lock with I'll come back tomorrow at 3pm. They left trash and metal shavings all over my front porch and will add pics to this review He never showed up the next day I call the office and the gave me a fake business name found the tech number asked the name and he gave me a different business name they claim the business is in Texas but I live in Raleigh nc they did get me in my house which I appreciate but everything tells me this company is a total scam at the very least they are unprofessional and inconsistent in what they told me and being honest in my review it's currently 9:28pm the tech just called me back saying he's on the way to replace the lock after admitting he forgot to come around 4pm Edit: they returned about 10pm, after calling multiple time, and replaced lock. They did leave trash again, and requestEd 50$ more. We refused to pay and they left. read more

My son paid $800.00 for a new key and the key will not work. They have replaced the key and it will still not work. They will not come and fix the key. He has been without a key for a whole week. They originally told him two hundred dollars and went up to the $800.00. He has tried calling several times and asked to speak to a manager and they keep giving him the run a round. Called in to the main line to get a quote, specifically said what kind of car I had which is a 2007 bmw 530xi , was quoted a decent price. Technician showed up within in an hr which was great but I should've known it was too good to be true. He then proceeds to tell me I have an "updated key" (key fob) and he has to charge me an additional 100$ to make the key. He told me my key was supposed to be a metal key that goes directly into the steering wheel to start. I didn't realize he was flat out lying until I called my mechanic later that only works on beamers , he told me I got scammed out of 100$ I tried to call these people back to get my money but they give me the run around. Awful experience . Try to get my Mercedes key copied give me a price when they get to my house they copied the key and told me it would be an extra $85 to cut the emergency key . I also asked him if they take credit card they said no problem , when my wife handed the technician credit card he said he only takes cash and cash app I didn't have any cash so they said they would drive away with the key so someone would have the key to my car that was programmed . Absolutely terrible customer service! The only reason it gets a one star is because the technician tried to help. Otherwise it would be zero stars for company itself. The technician was unable to get a key to start the car. Ended up paying $75 for coming which I didn't really argue because he did try but I still have no key. The next day a woman calls claiming I need to pay more money and stating that it didn't work because its a mechanical issue. How does that even work? She literally called the next day and asking if I saw a mechanic? Who does that? News flash, I was able to thankfully get another key cheaper and my car turns on. The audacity for trying to get more money for a service that was not provided and claiming it's our vehicle's fault. Absolutely terrible! read more

Very unprofessional. I originally called for an estimate to replace a car key. I ended up making an appointment for 2 o'clock. I got a call at 2 o'clock that the guy was running 40 minutes late because he was stuck at a previous job site. I called at 4 o'clock asking if I should reschedule when the person who answered said someone will be coming today. It wasn't until 6:45 someone called and said they could be there in 10 minutes. He didn't even apologize about being late and the key ended up being an extra $50 than what I got for over the phone. Disappointing that i waited FIVE HOURS for unprofessionalism. read more

I feel I was ripped off. I called these guys to have a broken key removed from a standard, basic, doorknob lock. I asked about fees to come to my house to see what they could do, and the "house call" charge seemed reasonable. It was not an emergency, but I will say their technician came at the scheduled time. He ended up recommending that the entire doorknob and lock be replaced as the broken piece was in "too deep", without even attempting to remove it. I'm sorry that I trusted that advice. For a new doorknob lock and new deadbolt (to keep them "keyed alike"), I was charged $300 PLUS $75 labor (thought the labor was included in the $300 installation price). In doing some research, both locks, if similar quality ones are bought at a hardware store/home center, are about $100, and probably less. I am handy enough that I could have replaced them myself and saved, but my judgment lapsed that day when I should have said thanks but no thanks. I don't know if this is standard operating procedure and fees for locksmiths, but I will be reluctant to call one from now on, and certainly not Sonic. read more
