This business is a sham, I paid to have my car can hard wired and paid $160. I had to take the car back twice because we the wires kept on falling out of the roof of the car. When my car was totaled, the would not tell me the number of fuse to use. They wanted another $160. I got the fuse number from the fiat dealership and it took me 20 minutes and I did it all myself! Next time, if you want to know hoe to hard wire your car, go on YouTube and save yourself $160! What rat bastards! read more

Ok so I have had an Alpine system installed by these guys for 5+ years. While the installation was fast, and the price was good, I have discovered small issues with the installation. Service has been 5 stars, but I have to dock a point for a few issues, which I am sure they would resolve if asked, unfortunately I just don't feel they should have been present to begin with. In the process of a recent replacement HU install on my own (the sonic sound install HU was simply dated after 7 years - not their fault obviously), and through learning about car AV, I have discovered a few things about the install which I believe could have been done better. 1 - the polarity of one my woofers were reversed and were counter-acting each other. Fixed by switching the connections in my front door crossover. It took 10 minutes. 2 - All of my wiring was done by twisting two cable ends together and wrapping with electrical tape. I have discovered that by redoing these connections and using proper wire terminators my sound quality has improved dramatically. Additionally as the electrical tape has begun to fail I am noticing issues with noise in my signal. I am going back and using plastic or crimped connectors to correct these issues. Sorry, but it just could have been better. That all said, the install was very fast. They have resolved multiple issues same day for me while I wait. Not a bad job, just not perfect. read more

DIY projects and certain tasks are good, but some things you just have to leave to the pros (lol/smh). I figured I could set up my new BlackVue Dashcam especially since the company made the latest 900X 2Ch so "user friendly". And in some ways it is. But not for hardwiring to use the Park Mode (which is what I specifically needed the camera for). I did the cigarette lighter set up, but it only works for when you're driving. Look at YouTube vids after vids. "Easy, I got this". Checked out the fuse panels for my AMG, ", I'm not messing up my car!" Sonic pros went above & beyond with a super clean set up & even cleaned up my DYI mess (cords hanging & wrapped around stuff...). I'll add photos after this weather clears & I get better lighting. Went to Sonic Sound for an LED headlamp that I couldn't find anywhere else in the area and Kevin hooked me up with the light I needed or so I thought. I took the headlamp to the dealership for install and they said sorry this is the wrong bulb so back to Sonic Sound I went, Kevin was happy to help me get the correct bulb and I headed back out to the dealership. Upon arriving at the dealership with what Kevin and I thought was the correct bulb they again told me this one won't work, at this point I'm extremely frustrated with them so I call my boy Kevin back up and man he goes above and beyond to find the exact part number that I need and since he doesn't have it in stock gets it rush delivered for me so it can be there by the time I get back there for the THIRD TIME! When I arrive back to Sonic Sound the bulbs are there as promised and Kevin hooks me up with upgraded bulbs! Nothing against this place as they are very helpful and all but there pricing is higher than the dealerships. There install charge is highest I have seen in the area. I bet they do a great job but I cannot pay more than the dealership on the same item. I used to be in the car audio business so if they say a grand the markup on that is almost 100%. It's too bad that they do not work with you on price as that is why many go to audio stores over others. Oh well. The owner recently contacted me and explained his pricing.
