So I had been driving around without sound for quite some time and finally decided to do something about it. I found Streamline here on yelp and setup an appointment. The price was right for what I wanted and on March 29, 2025 I got new speakers and an amp installed. Chris did an excellent job with the installation, and as I stated, I have been enjoying great sounding music coming from my new setup. I am so disappointed with the service that I received thus far. First, I went to this establishment because my car stereo was going in and out. I was told that a diagnostic would be done. Once done, I was told the problem is with my speakers. With that, I requested to have new speakers put in that cost around $2,700 at a minimal. Once installed, Drew learned that it wasn't the speakers after all. He then uninstalled the original stereo system believing that the problem is with the amp, just to learn that that too is not the problem. This problem has been going on for over 1 1/2 months with no resolution. Apart from that, I put down $1,600 for the Apple play that Drew pushed to install. I told Drew that I don't want the Apple play after all, but he isn't willing to give me my $1,600 deposit back because it came from Asia and it will inconvenience him by returning the item. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Further, he is still pushing an item on me that I totally don't want or need.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If he can't figure out what is going on with my stereo system, then I most certainly don't want him to install something that I don't want. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I touch base with Drew regularly to see how things are going and after 1 1/2 month he is asking me to be patient with him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After spending $2,700 on speakers that can't serve me because it was never the problem, he is asking for patience. Currently, I don't have a car stereo and out $4,300.00. The $1,600 was just the deposit for the Apple pay, therefore, there is still a balance due. In addition, whatever he did or didn't do, my auto locks no longer work. I am extremely agitated with this establishment, that I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Wow! 8 months later and still no resolution to my headlight situation. Mr. Brown professed his desire to fix this, but, of course, not at his expense...mine. He constantly changes his reasoning from: "I'll take care of it", to "it'll cost you $XXX to repair." His shop RUINED my headlights by replacing them with LEDs in April 2022. They did something to diffuse all my lighting, and I have no viewable brights. They took till August of 2022 to replace the LEDs with original (so they say) HIDs, but it did NOT improve. Have NO idea what they origianlly did, but my lights worked when I brought it to them, and they have not weorked correctly since. Mr. (Drew) Brown seems to think the casings are pitted and that HIDs are no good (according to a forum he visited), and changes his story EVERY time I visit to see what's next to fix this issue (left a previous review which Mr. Brown says he'd like to have a chance to correct, but still has not even offered a sensible and cost free solution...just pins it on me. Look at the picture attached... are my lenses corroded? Pitted? Cloudy? No. GM says they are fine, just not emitting the proper power to provide lighting on road surfaces... diffused lighting. And blame me? Right. Do NOT use this shop until there is a change in management and someone takes responsibility that what they did (unauthorized) caused this problem to beging with. I was greeted by patient Phil who happily answered all of my questions explaining the different remote starters and what makes it organic, the different Tint percentages. While I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for Phil helped me figure things out and didn't try to upsell me. I made an appt for the following week since they were booked up until then and didn't take walk ins. I was quoted 2hrs for an organic remote starter and was prepared to wait or to go get some grub but before I could decide what I wanted to do, Phil told me my car was ready after a mere 40mins and I was good to go. A week later I called back when I thought I was doing it wrong but was told by another guy that I was talking and counting too fast. Called on a Monday to have a dashcam and rear cam, installed hard-wired. Went in on a Friday afternoon and was out 1.5 hours later. All wires concealed nicely. Excellent customer service and they stand by their work. Don't be foolish and try to do a custom install yourself. Used to do a lot of business with them, referred my friends and family to them. Cannot do that any longer In April 2022, I went to them to upgrade my fog lights, tint my front windows and potentially add Apple Play to my GMC. I had at first talked to Phil, then Phil, after all these years, suddenly left and I had to deal w the owner, Drew. He got it wrong. He and the new Shop Manager replaced my working and fabulous HID headlights with LED ones. They don't work well with this vehicle, and they were the wrong lights to replace. Supposed to be my fogs!! They finally replaced my fogs but said they couldn't get the HIDs, blamed it on a supply issue. Meanwhile, I CANNOT SEE AT NIGHT. regular beams barely light up the pavement and high beams do NOTHING. had a couple of trips lined up in late May and had a difficult time up in Maine's north area. UFB! Then he started to blame the lenses. Cost is around 1200 each. Right. Nothing wrong with my lights before.. what did you do?? Always blaming someone else. He finally got the OE HIDs in AUGUST, and they don't work, Shop Manager left the business. Wow. Fed up, I took it to a GMC dealer to have therm repair what Streamline screwed up, and they said it might take DAYS to figure out what they did to my truck. They did rule out the lenses, but it will cost me hundreds of $$$ to investigate. I'm stuck, unhappy and warning anyone I can of their work practices. Deceptive, dishonest and willing to blame absent employees and the supply chain for their failures. Don't even get me started on the Apple Play saga. Total Failure. There isn't very many places installing Huper Optik window tint... they were the closest and had good Yelp reviews. I received a quote over the phone and made an appointment. They called me back after I made the appointment and raised the price by $70. I almost cancelled my appointment to find another place, but the convenience and positive reviews kept me on. It is my understanding that Huper Optik tint is more difficult to work with, but these folks knew what they were doing and did a great job. Called again on Thursday and quoted a higher price. He claimed he didn't recall the conversation. Honor your quotes and be responsive, if you want business. The lady who answered the phone was pretty friendly, and said yes, they could install it the same day, and it only takes about 2 or 3 hours. So at 11:30am I dropped my truck off, and asked a second time if it could be done the same day. She went out back to ask the techs and she said yes, they can. 2 hours later I got a phone call from them asking me if I could reschedule because they overbooked themselves. I reminded the guy I was on the phone with that this was the reason I asked TWICE to see if it could be done the same day and TWICE I was told yes, they could. When I went back to get my truck, the lady asked me if I wanted to reschedule. Why would you even bother to ask me that? After all the time I wasted driving back and forth to them, being told they could complete work, and then picking up an unfinished job and you ask me if I want to schedule? I let her know I'll never be back there ever again. I trusted the yelp reviews and all the good things everyone had to say. Maybe I had 1 bad experience or maybe I didn't. The customer service rendered by Auto Streamline was personable, although I had to return to get something fixed again. My initial bill was high for the services provided over $2k, therefore I was offered to use their same as cash option with SNAP Finance. When I completed the agreed upon payment amount, a monthly payment continued to be withdrawn from my bank account. BE WARE of the Finance company Auto Streamline uses called SNAP Finance. It is a form of predatory lending and you only have 100 days to pay your bill in full. The owners made no mention of the 100-day payment requirement. I learned the hard way, when my total payment more than doubled. I did not know that I had only 100 days to finalize my payment without a hefty penalty and I could have used another payment option. When I read The Agreement it does not specify when the 100-days ends and there is no mention of the interest rate. I do not have bad credit, which is the type of customer that is targeted for SNAP Finance. It's sad that a Black-owned business in my community would use a finance company that would cause a consumer to double their payment and lengthen the payment terms to 12 months; if the total payment is not completed within 100-days. I am Very disappointed with such an unethical practice. More hurtful, in order to get out of the Agreement there is another hefty fee. The finance company is located in Canada and I want to be released from the Agreement without further financial hardship. I paid the initial amount in full. read more

Simply put: they do well at everything they advertise. If you need advice on a sound or navigation system, you will find that these people are well informed about their product. The service I received was professionally performed in a timely matter. The business has a clean restroom and waiting area. Just FYI, they are an official dealer for Katzkin (aftermarket leather cooled/heated seats). Customer service is top notch. I had a phone call from the lady working the desk following up on a quote she sent me. Who does that anymore these days? 5 stars. I will be visiting this business in the near future.
