Mallorie is awesome. Go there in the middle of the day unless you need to fast. Bring a sweater.

They do not answer the phone. There is no staff person at the front desk. This means there's no way to ask a question prior to arrival, or to verify that your labwork was received. In all but one instance, my lab results had not been received. Isn't it time we move beyond faxing in 2026? Clearly it's not reliable. The phlebotomists are very good at what they do and provide good care. My issue is with the business model and technology they use. read more

I can only comment on my own experiences. All was great. Very short waits. All personnel were cordial and professional. Negatives....? Well, some of them did a better job making painless needle sticks than others. But no biggie in any case. I highly recommend. read more

This is now my second time here and having THE worst customer service by Kristin Williams. The first time I chalked it up to maybe she was having a bad day and had a bad attitude. She didn't have on closed toed shoes and was flinging them around and kept sticking her long nails in her ears and wiping it on the table and playing with her earrings. She was huffing and mumbling under her breath this second visit as well. She then continued to have an extremely rude and condescending tone when I kept mine polite and friendly. She had to give me a sticky with her email and tossed it at me. After she printed out orders that she was visibly annoyed I had to email her she yelled at me for not reading the directions and not fasting. I politely told her no problem I will come back and left crying. She is horrid and should not be dealing with patience when she is obviously so upset and angry with something and taking it out on patients. Maybe I look like someone she doesn't like or she hates her job either way 2 out of 2 times I would not recommend lab draws by her. read more

I have never had a positive experience at the LabCorp in Cottonwood. The front desk is RUDE. I waited one time for an hour when I had an appointment. I was the only one in the office. I guess a big manager showed up and they had a meeting. Every time I have been there it has been a horrible wait. My doctor prefers LabCorp so I thought I would give it one more time. I was 10 minutes late for my appointment. So, they said my appointment was no good. So, I asked how long will it take? Do they say there are so many people in front of you and should be a certain amount of time. As usual, that front desk is rude. They say "It will take as long as it will take." I left. I will NEVER go to LabCorp in Cottonwood again. read more

I just moved here and this was my first experience with this lab and with using the Quest Direct online program which allows you to get lab work without a doctor's order. I ordered online and prepaid for 3 simple blood tests I need to monitor a medication. (So far it has been impossible for me to see a new MD for a wellness check due to COVID19.) I tried to use the Quest Direct online scheduling program for this location. It showed no available appointments for all of December. So I called the lab directly and was given an appointment the next week. When I arrived at the lab it was a Monday afternoon and the scene was complete chaos. People in a TINY waiting room, people milling around outside, NO social distanced chairs, no air flow and no attempt being made to disinfect anything: seats, check-in computer screen, pens... you name it. I'm not a germ freak but when the guy waiting behind me at the front desk, breathing down my neck... steps up to the window after me and says in a loud voice "I'm here for my COVID test"...YIKES! It gets worse. My order number could not be found in their computer system. I was asked to fill out paperwork and pick from their long list of tests the ones I had ordered online. It was interesting that the prices on the sheet were almost 30% less than what I paid online. And the tests I ordered online did not match up to those on the list. Frustrating! I was told by the harried front desk worker that they would "catch up" the billing afterwards and I would be billed if there was a discrepancy. WHAT? If I hadn't driven 45 minutes to get to this lab, I would have walked out. But guess what, you can't get your money back once you order these tests through Quest Direct. So I sucked it up, sat through a 30 minute wait past my appointment time, and got my blood drawn. I will say the young lady phlebotomist was quick, pleasant and the blood draw was painless. Poor girl told me she rarely gets a lunch break as this office is so busy. The gal at the front desk was also very nice, just completely overwhelmed by the situation. It's been 3 days and no test results yet. I give zero stars to Quest Direct! read more

I don't usually write negative reviews, but this is by far the most unfriendly and snnody lab I have ever been at. The check in was cold, rude, arrogant and unfriendly. All three women were rude, as if they were trained to be this way. I understand they only have one other lab as competition, but that's no excuse to treat patients that way. Step it up girls and get some customer service training. read more

75% of the time I go there, they cannot find my Dr.'s request for all the lab tests. So then I have to return (50 mile round trip), have them draw blood a second time, paying the copay twice. Sometimes I have to call the doctor' office and request they send the request AGAIN. This is the closest lab to me since COVID19 appeared, as many have closed, and it's 25 miles from home. There's nothing pleasant about these visits due to the distance and paper-trail confusion. They got three stars because they are polite to people and skilled at drawing blood. read more

I have been to several different Sonora Quest and LabCorp labs and I have to say that I have always had a much better experience with Sonora Quest. The staff are more professional, courteous (even friendly!) and the office typically looks like it's decorated a bit nicer. Despite me being unorganized and not having my doc's slip, the ladies here were really friendly and helpful and I was in and out super fast. I have also found that you typically have to wait longer at LabCorp and you better get there right when it opens, even then there will be 10 people waiting to get in. So if you have a choice, go with Sonora Quest! =) read more

I had a very bad experience at Sonora Quest. I had some tests run that required analysis by a lab and was told by the specialist to use Sonora in Cottonwood. I found the staff to be very abrupt and discourteous - not helpful at all. I had to sign in at a Kiosk and the staff absolutely refused to show my how to get that done. My experience went downhill from there. I requested that the results of the tests be sent to my primary care physician and that did not happen. I went back in to get it straightened out and was told they either could not or would not help me and that I had to call an 800 number (my physician's staff made the call and got it straightened out for me). I will stick with Lab Corp. read more
