I had a shoulder MRI there and paid $1,150 (with insurance) that the surgeon found "utterly useless". The 25-year-old machine PMI has is not up to the task of a detailed diagnostic tool. The medical summary they provided was vague and inaccurate. The surgeon sent me to Simon Med and I self paid only $260 for a vastly superior MRI and medical summary that the surgeon was able to use to both accurately diagnose and to plan for the surgery. read more

The MRI itself, as well as the girl performing the MRI, were excellent. However, the girls on the front desk needs to be trained in the meaning of Customer Service. As I observed patient after patient leaving the building, not ONE was acknowledged for choosing PMI. When it was my turn to leave, I turned towards the desk and wished them a great day, but got NOTHING! There was ONE woman being attended to, but the other girl probably had her nose in her cellphone! Three times I have tried to make an appointment for imaging. Wait times have been over an hour on hold and no one answers. Not acceptable.

I had an ultrasound that was requested by my primary care doctor. I have a 9mm kidney stone that had caused some blockage and was in pain. PMI never sent the results to my pc doctor and I have been sitting here in pain for almost 2 weeks.... also can't get a hold of my pc doctor. Medical in this area is horrible. I was there early Saturday morning for a mammogram with Megan and a bone density scan with Steve. Staff at the front desk greeted me cheerfully. They were all friendly and caring. Everything was done efficiently and seemed effortless to me. I was out the door and on my way home in record time. Megan may be the best tech I've ever experienced! I mentioned to Steve that my right hip is very stiff and he was very careful in positioning my right leg and hip. Early morning was a great time to get this all done. I was so impressed with the extremely helpful staff. They were so kind and made this visit perfect. When I walked in, the room was filled with a number of patients but they kept people moving through quickly. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. The ultrasound tech was nothing but helpful and put me at ease. I can't praise this place enough, especially after my horrible experience at Simon Med in Prescott Valley recently. They are taking 72+hours to read an X-ray. This is unacceptable. This place has drastically gone downhill.

I have been to this facility several times in the last two years. The first several times were for MRIs, an x-ray today, and today was my first mammogram ever. I won't lie; I was terrified of having a mammogram done thanks to the horror stories I heard years ago before I was at an age when mammograms are suggested. I was very surprised at how gentle the technician was and how quick the procedure was. Every time I have gone to this facility, for which ever procedure I needed done, the staff is always professional, caring, and efficient. I don't think I have ever waited longer than five minutes to be escorted to the room for changing into the gown for my procedure. Once in my gown, I have never had to wait to have the procedure to be done. From the moment I walk in the front door through the end of my visit, I am always treated like a person not just another number on a form. From check in to check out and everything in between, all the staff members are always friendly and very willing to help in anyway I may need. They even try to make certain that I am comfortable whilst having a procedure done. Even on phone calls, the staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. If you are in the Prescott area and need to have any imaging done (MRI, x-ray, ultrasound, mammogram, etc.), I would highly recommend using PMI. Even if you don't live in the Prescott area (such as the Phoenix or Flagstaff areas), and you are tired of waiting for your procedures, sick of being treated like another number, you've had a bad experience at an imaging facility, or you are just afraid of having a procedure done, this is definitely worth the drive. Another plus for this facility is that it does take Medicare. I wish I could give them 10 stars! read more

I'm not a reviewer at all, but wanted to give props to this guy. I've spoken with Michael, in the scheduling department, 3 times today. He was super patient in dealing with issues coming from the doctor's office that ordered the imaging and took the time to do all he could to get it cleared up. It would have been easy for him to continue to say, "We have no order for that," and end the conversation. Going to the doctor and/or having imaging done can be stressful enough, it makes a big difference if you get to talk to someone that doesn't totally disregard you. Way to go, Michael. read more

Terrible service, I've been here twice and had to wait almost two hours both times. Saw several people go ahead of me and I had an appointment for 8 waiting until 10! They took three weeks to get my results to my doctor. Very displeased. read more

They charged me over $700 for a chest X-Ray - this is way too much. Best to get a quote before seeing them. Also the wait was long.
