I had a scheduled blood draw today at 8:15 am. Didn't get in for a half hour after my scheduled time. This tells me either the phlebotomists are too slow or the appointments are scheduled too close together. How can you be 1/2 hour behind at 8:15 when you only start taking appointments at 7:30? The entire waiting room was full and apparently they were taking in walkins ahead of appointments. My wife had a blood draw by Ramon and ended up with a huge ugly bruise on her arm and internal bleeding around the draw site. He apparently went through the vein and caused internal bleeding. The guy has no personality and apparently no skills. read more

Lucy was my phlebotomist and she did an excellent job! My test is not standard, and looks different once it is brought up on the computer, but she knew what to look for and found it without needing anyone. This is rare as I've had the test over 40 times and have never had someone find it as quickly! The office was clean and the check-in was easy. I will definitely be back! read more

Fastest bloodwork appointment ever. I was in and out within 20 mins. Check in at the kiosk makes it so easy! It was fairly busy in the lobby at 8:50am. Staff is very friendly and efficient. The technician who drew my blood was gentle and professional. I will definitely be getting all of my lab work done here from now on. Parking in front of the office. Great location! read more

Don't waste your time!! If I could give zero starts I would. I recently made an appointment for a routine blood draw and it took 20 minutes to check in and after checked in they told me it would be another TWO hour wait! What is the point of making an appointment?! When they finally called me to come back I was greeted With the rudest lab tech I've ever experienced. Honey, I work in the medical field, don't take out your packed waiting room and under staffing out on me. Then she had the audacity to scrape the entire inside of my vein. You'd think someone who does this everyday for a living would be better at it. Not to mention the nasty smell in the lobby and the disgusting bathroom. Go to Labcorp if you want a better experience for an appointment that should be SO SIMPLE. read more

Efficient is the word to describe my experience here. If it weren't a pandemic, I wouldn't care that there were 8 people in a small lobby, 1/2 of which had appointments, the other half were walk-ins that were allowed to stay. Unfortunately, due to walk-ins, I was not taken back for my appointment on time and waited in the lobby for 20 minutes. Normally I wouldn't care, but I've been trying to avoid being around people at this time, due to the pandemic. Friendly staff and the woman who drew my blood was quick, professional, kind, and good at her job! I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. My results were ready within 24 hours. The only drawback I have found in my visits to this facility is the wait time, even with an appointment and my records on file. Best location in north Tucson/Oro Valley! I was fortunate enough to walk in on a Tuesday and there were only 4 people ahead of me. I was seen within 15 minutes of waiting. The front staff was friendly, as well as my phlebotomist. I will be back to this location next time I need the flexibility of a walk in! read more

First off I want to stay that the people who work here do a wonderful job. I have to admit that I was very surprised as to how busy this place is! In the DFW Metroplex with a population of 7.5 million I could walk into a Quest to get a blood draw and walk out 15-20 minutes later. This place had an hour wait without an appointment. I went home to make an appointment and I could not get in for an entire week! The next day I arrived there at 7 AM and 4 people were already waiting in line to get their work done. One client said they had to wait 2 hours not too long ago. This tell me that Quest needs to find a larger facility in Oro Valley and hire more personnel. read more

From the moment I stepped into the facility I was treated with respect and consideration. We checked in through a kiosk system and when it was our turn, we found out that they needed the lab order to come directly from the doctor's office and not through LabCorp. We had gone through LabCorp prior to this visit only to find out that they were not on our insurance plan, so LabCorp sent us to Sonora Quest Laboratories. By the time we arrived we were a bit tired, having had an appointment prior to this visit along with being redirected from the other lab facility (which, by the time of our arrival to this facility, we were a bit frustrated as well). Due to mobility and health issues, I did not want to return later to have my blood drawn. The receptionist was so nice and understanding as I made a call to the doctor's office to request that they resend the paperwork to this facility, so that I could get the blood-work done. It was only afterward that I saw the sign about no cell phone usage, so I was very appreciative of their understanding in this particular situation. As soon as the paperwork was received, the receptionist informed us and said that they would try to get me in as soon as possible. SheLisa (sp?) came shortly after and she was just as nice a person as the receptionist. Not only was she on point in getting the needle in right the first time without any pain whatsoever, which isn't always the case for me, but she was efficient in getting all the vials filled as needed. I left with a good feeling about Sonora Quest Laboratories...the people there gave such good vibes (in particular, the care for the patients and their attitude towards the job they do), provided a pleasant atmosphere. read more

I have godawful veins and chronic low level dehydration due to having no colon, and am very happy getting my blood drawn here. I show up at the crack of dawn or make an appointment, I get in in a reasonable amount of time, and the sticks are always flawless the first try. I've been successful at getting my medical people to work together to minimize the number of sticks I have to have per year, so my primary plays traffic cop: everyone else sends him their orders, then he compiles them along with his and sends them over to the lab. Because I have so many tests ordered at once they have to fill a lot of vials at a time, and there's never been any problem getting my pathetic veins to cooperate until everything is done. read more

Well, I went back to this location this morning for my scheduled blood testing and it was like a completely different facility. The employee manning the front desk was polite and patient. I was called back about 10 minutes past my appt time, but it wasn't a big deal...and the phlebotomist who drew my tests was kind, efficient, and fast. I can only say that it must have been a very, very bad day when I went the first time. And I was grateful to be done as quickly as I was today. read more

This location has much more friendly and supportive customer service staff and blood draw technicians. I'm making this location my new regular blood draw lab after experiencing rudeness and bad attitude at another Sonora Quest location. There is plenty of free parking. I also find more availability on the web site when setting up an appointment. read more

The staff is very professional. I had labs scheduled for 10:15. I arrived (for my first visit) at 10:00, was asked for minimal information, and was out the door at 10:15. My labs were already completed. I agree with Randee's comment on 6/10/2020 - Sonora Quest is very efficient. read more

Although I waited an hour for my blood draw and the front desk gal could ha even a bit more friendly, I give this facility 4 out of 5. The phlebotomist (Jill) was amazing and was successful with her first stick---not always the case for my reluctant veins! Only suggestion: make an appointment if you can! read more

My doctor's office faxed the order over a dozen times over a 2 week period and they kept losing it. Then there was a billing problem and I tried to call it took 4 hours(!) over 3 days before someone actually answered the phone. Later phone attempts had similar wait times. I tried using their "Contact Me" form on their website and didn't hear back for THREE WEEKS!!! The next time I used email they answered after only a few days. My final email attempt was a week ago and they have yet to respond. read more

Unlike the experience I had at a local Labcorp office the day before, this office visit was about as good as it gets. I was called up almost immediately after I signed in, waited only a few minutes to get my blood drawn and was on my way. It took almost 2 hrs to do a pre-employment urine drug screen. They served 5 people that came in after me (4 of which did not have appointments) and when I brought this to their attention I was told the paperwork was filed out of order. They still made me wait 20 minutes beyond this. Note: I would have made an appointment, but I had to go whenever my husband could take a lunch break to be with our baby since children are not allowed. But even without an appointment I should have been taken care of much sooner. read more
