Kevin inspected each nook and cranny of the home, including roof, attic, and electrical. He took photos of each area that were included in the report delivered the same evening as he did the inspection. Very prompt and very thorough report, including a 2-page summary for our builder to take as additional punch list items. Being new to the area, he addressed questions we had about construction in a different part of the country and took the time to explain things that were both necessary and unnecessary. Since Kevin is a civil engineer, we felt very comfortable discussing technical aspects of our new home. Kevin was terrific and we highly recommend his services. The value we received from his inspection outweighs an insurance policy and we will hire him again for our one-year walk-through as well as five or ten years down the road to give another independent, unbiased, neutral opinion on home items needing remediation, repair, or touch-up.

I was parking my car at the United States Postal Service in Prescott. I could not move into the…read moreparking space. The reason being is because there was a big truck with a trailer that had parked incorrectly across three parking slots and they were trying to leave so that I could go into the parking space. This big black truck behind me from Mile High Property Inspection honked their horn at me because I had to abruptly stop when this other truck with a trailer started to move. I jumped out of my skin. I called and spoke to the company owner who was really rude to me and he said that his employee would never honk their horn at anyone. He said he knew the guy very well. Of course that would be obvious because that's his employee. Let me reiterate, I had to stop my car and not continue to park in the parking spot because the truck with the trailer in front of me all of a sudden started to move, therefore the black truck from this company was not able to move forward and had to stop immediately so they didn't rear-end me which made them angry enough to honk their horn at me. The owner kept repeating that his employee would never honk his horn at anyone. Then I said to the owner then you are calling me a liar because I know what happened. He said again maybe two or three times after that, that his employee would never do that because he knows that person...????? Then he proceeded to call me rude which was really flabbergasting because all I did was call up the phone number displayed on the company truck. I would never think to call and make a complaint but there was nothing that I could do until the truck in front of me moved. It made me feel uncomfortable with the horn being honked like that behind me because I jumped out of my skin as I said earlier. The owner got increasingly irate with me and talked over me when I didn't do anything wrong and then he hung up on me which was really weird. All I was trying to do was let the owner know that it was inappropriate for his employee to do that to me. I wasn't irate on the phone. I wasn't upset, in fact I was extremely calm because I had been shaking. I wouldn't do business with this company under any circumstances because he was really really rude. In fact, before he rudely hung up on me I would like to explain my initial beginning phone call with the owner...I had initially asked when he answered the phone if I had called High Mile Property Inspections and he rudely said No, this is not High Mile Property Inspections maybe you meant to say Mile High Property Inspections and then he asked who are you?? His whole delivery and tone of voice was really condescending for a first time caller. It's really shocking to be treated that way from the owner of a company. If I could give this company no stars I would but you have to click on a star to publish your comment.
