My son and I were out for a drive and a burger the other day, and my fellow Yelpers were once again right on yet another one (mind you that I would probably give this 4.5 stars if I could). This is a tiny place, but has a quick and convenient drive thru. Our customer interactions were short, but also sweet (and who doesn't like that, right?) Burger was reminiscent of the good parts of a BK Wopr. Stay with me for a second... what I mean is that it was a distinctly flame broiled flavor, when other char broiled places lack that many times. And, the roll was similar, except very fresh and soft, and the toppings similar, except fresher tasting. It's just a much better very of a fast food burger, which seems to be the exact intention of this place. So, great job! Love the easy customization, of a simple menu (single, double, triple, etc). It was a quick and tasty experience! Bonus: the jalapeño cheese bites seem to be ordered from Cisco or something like that, but they are dang good!

We tried out the burgers for the first time on Saturday after jet skiing in Fort Gibson Lake. Let's just say it was so good we will probably make it a ritual to eat here before we make our way back to Tulsa. We tried like everything and nothing disappointed us. Frito Chili Pie, Cheese Balls, Double Cheeseburgers, Fish Burger and Onion Rings. Prices were reasonable too. If we have to be picky, the sweet tea was slightly bitter.

Close to Five Guys, if you need a reference, but with that char flavor from being cooked over an open flame.

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

Ron's Hamburger & Chili is a good stop off in Wagoner if you are in the mood for a burger & fries…read more The food was hot & fresh and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive & super knowledgeable about not only the menu but the business overall. We were seated and within 1 minute had our drinks. Less than 6 minutes after ordering, our food was delivered to the table steaming hot. The burger was pretty good and was an old fashioned greasy burger but was a little lacking overall in explosive flavor. Now I order my burger's "meat & cheese only" so dressing it up with "fixings" would probably fix this. My friend and I split an order of Chicken Chunks and they were also pretty good, but much like the burger was a little lacking on flavor but that's what dipping sauces are for, right?! Now comes the part of the meal that deserves all the rave reviews, the French Fries! These fries are fresh cut in house daily and you can tell! They were served hot and crisp and they were exploding with flavor and greatness! The portion size on the "small" was too much for either one of us and we should have split a single small order. These golden rods of joy made the whole meal absolutely awesome! Overall due to the service and the food I would give Ron's 4/5 and recommend it to anyone that's in Wagoner and in the mood for some burgers and fries!
