He does, but the spot is way too far. At that moment he passes Lundbergs' Porsche, conveniently parked at the entrance, and he feels a pint of envy. He goes down to his cubicle at the Audio Products division. A stack of papers are waiting for him; these are the items to be serviced today, and the items to be expedited. And then there are those damn TPS reports that he must file. He must hurry otherwise Lundberg will have him work on Saturday. Let's start with claims. He shuffles the destiny of many consumers with the dexterity of a card magician; he allocates, approves, stamps, and gives the order... then he stops at a curiously well written letter explaining the history of an MP3 failure. He is about to take action when the phone rings. It's Lundberg. "Yeaahh, what's happening... I need you to go ahead and come here on Sunday; we got some new products coming in this year, and we have to get the tutorials under way, so if you could finish up your stack of papers today that would be terrific.. mmmkay?" The line is dead. He feels pangs of solace attacking his very soul. Then the burrito kicks in, and his stomach grumbles in protest. Ah, what was this? Yes, an MP3 player switch out. Him: "Hello, I need a replacement for a walkman to be sent out today, one of the NWZ-B105F series" Her: "You don't sound so chipper, seems like someone got a case of the Mondays!" Him: "The walkman please.." Her: "Okay, no need to be rude darling... it seems that this returned item is black, but we won't have any in inventory for the next week or so while we have 463 in white.... what do I do" Him: "Expediency first, besides we need to get rid of those white ones anyways. Send it out" Her: "What about the customer, don't you think he'll be upset to receive a different color?" Him: "Nah, expediency is more important when it comes to angry customers, so just do what I tell ya" And that's how it plays out in my mind; with drones, and cubicles, and TPS reports. I bought a HVL-F20S (external flash for NEX-5TL) Sept 2013 and by Dec 2013 is was unusable. Once the device connects to the camera, the flash turns on a off by lifting and lowering the flash (It works on a hinge). On mine, one side of the hinge started cracking with a small micro crack. This was unbeknownst to me, until I would lift the flash and the flash would not enable. That's when I noticed the cracks. I noticed that lifting and lowering the flash caused stress on the micro cracks and caused them to spread a little more every time. I sent the product in for warranty repair and just received noticed they would not repair or replaced because of physical abuse. The flash is in almost new condition other than the cracks. The cracks were not caused by any impact, there are no burrs on the surrounding plastic and no impact burrs on the entire unit. I called them and asked to be transferred to a local tech at their "Laredo" repair center. The tech was very accusatory (George Martinez with estimate department) and flat out told me that it's not possible that it was a manufacturing defect. I told him that it looks like a defect in the structural integrity of the plastic when put under stress of the hinge. All he kept repeating was "physical abuse." This is very disappointing to me because this device should be covered under warranty. I sent them my proof of purchase that tallied to over $1600 in Sony Camera products last September. I bought it all NEX-5TL, telephoto lens, wide angle, the flash, extra batteries. If anybody knows another channel that I can try, please let me know. Also, the warranty center sent my a picture of the "physical abuse" (the cracks that I sent it in for), and it looks like they had gotten longer than when I had originally sent it in. read more

So mad right now. Got a new VAIO laptop, but found that the "End" key was broken. Was told to send here and that I would get e-mail confirmation that they got it. Never got that e-mail. Had to look up UPS tracking info and found they got it on 4/2. Was told it would take 2 weeks max to get my keyboard fixed. (Said they had to replace whole keyboard.) Was told I should have it by today, Friday. I stayed home all day today to expect it. Called Sony, got directed to this facility with Marcus. Was told there was a delay because some items were on back order and that my laptop hasn't gone through quality control yet. Told me to call back next week, Wednesday. This is incredibly frustrating. At least offer me a coupon or gift certificate or something for all this delay and lack of decent service. I really need it for work, was expecting it for this weekend, and I have to wait again probably another week. So disappointed. read more

As others have already pointed out my experience with Sony Repair was so awful that I'd rather pay for 3rd party warranties than get any service from them. This is a camera I love and have recommend numerous times and probably at least a dozen people have bought it on my advise. They have now lost my business forever. Felt completely helpless and cheated. I was polite and accurate the entire time but was treated as if I was the one to blame. They can literally be at fault and then claim it's your fault! Felt like I was in a system where I was wrong and not even allowed to submit any proof while they had no proof. The customer is there lowest priority--worst customer service I have ever experience. Here is a summary: - Paid the $220 flat service fee to fix a camera that I can get new for $440!!! - 4 weeks (over two services) when I have no camera with no response - Send me back a camera that was still majorly defective - 8 frustrating hours on the phone with multiple Sony reps trying to resolve issue - Never call back even after saying they will numerous times - Don't follow their own policies and ignore you when you point it out - Refuse to listen and escalate the issue--you're simply not worth it to them - Make statements without any proof - But refuse to even allow me to send photos proving they are lying - I just could not take it anymore and just consider my money and time stolen Here are some of the reps I chatted with: Mel (C7FD), Jaz (C2ZC), Isabelle (C7G5), Ria (CJWU) The Tech Rep never even bothered to call back so I only know his name is Andy. I wish I had read the reviews before sending our FS7 in for repair. Two weeks and I can't even get a response on where my camera is. I've emailed and called every day. All I get is received for repair. No one emails or calls back. Apparently they don't have supervisors and no one has the ability to talk to anyone else. So pretty much I've sent my $8000 camera off to never be returned. Now I'm just going to email them every minute until I get a response. read more

Wow. I am completely floored by the excellent experience I had in sending my Sony NEX-5N in for warranty repair. I mailed it out on a Tuesday, received a notice that it was received that Friday, received a notice that the repairs were complete the day after, and it was back in my hands on Wednesday. How could it possibly get better? The issues I had with my camera were: (1) there was a piece of dust stuck inside that showed up in pictures as a gray dot and (2) the bottom of the LCD screen was beginning to delaminate, which is common for NEX cameras. While my main concern was issue #1, because it affected my pictures, getting the screen replaced with no charge or hassle was a great surprise. I'm sure it will start delaminating again a year from now, but at least it's shiny and new for now. The whole process was so smooth and easy. The return packaging was exceptional. Now that I get a second chance with this camera, I am going to treat it much better! read more

I experienced by far the worst customer service from the (tier) employees of Sony. this # 800-222-7669! six so-called service people and 2 hours later my TV is still broke. The TV is still in warranty and the local TV repair businesses can do work on warrantied Sony TVs. Only out of warranty Sony TVs. So after 2 hours and to many times to repeat their troubleshooting, I have come to my conclusion that Sony doesn't want to fix in warranty TVs but will repair out of warranty TVs. Sony repair is very disappointing! Have extended VIP warranty with express shipping for business laptop. Took to Sony Store in Fashion Valley on Dec 8 2012 for repair. "Expressed Shipped" to Texas but not logged in there until Dec 12. Got email confirmation. It is now January 2 2013 and still no laptop back from Sony. I have been told it shipped on the 28 Dec, 31 Dec and now that it will ship on the 2 Jan or 3 Jan. Sony repair facility say one thing, Sony Store says another and customer service hot line has told me a third different story. The extra cost for VIP Express service is a waste of money and Sony Service is not service at all. I would recommend a different brand of laptop read more

Terrible service through the Sony Service Center. My TV broke under warranty and they offered to replace it. So far so good, right? They then tell me that the TV I had which is 8 months old is discontinued and they will need to send me a newer model. Even better, right? I receive the new model, only to discover that the Sony brand wall mount for the broken TV is incompatible with the new model. Baffled that they would change the mounting hole pattern from one model to the next within an 8 month period, I ask them to replace the old mount with the newer mount which is compatible with the newer TV and they refuse. I now have to shell out another 200 bucks for a new mount because the old TV broke. read more

I continue to be unimpressed with Sony's support organization. I called to get a Vaio repaired. All went well, box arrived, packed up the computer, wrote up the problem and then nothing. No email to confirm they received it. No email advising me of the repair estimate. No update email or call to follow up. After two weeks, I called to inquire if they in fact had my unit. I received a confirmation and the estimate. I asked the service person, "how long were you going to wait before making contact with me"...NO ANSWER! Sony makes good products. I have used the Sony Laredo Service 3 times in the last 5 years or so, each time the camera was the victim of some sort of abuse and not warranty work. In every case I was amazed by the customer service communication (via email and phone) that I received from them. Professional, curteous and very respectful of my cameras. After they repaired the first camera I was so astonished by the customer service I decided right then I would be a loyal Sony customer forever. Once again, I have used them not one but three times and every instance they get 5 stars from me. I should add I dealt with the Sony Service Center in Laredo personally and did not go through Wolf Camera (where I bought the original camera) or the Sony store at a local mall. Sent in my laptop. Two weeks later received an email saying part need SSD module was back ordered. Called in andvthebphone rep told me they had the part but were waitingbforvwarranty confirmation - this after having the unit for 2 weeks. This was a very high end laptop - $4500+ - with Sony warranty. I don't like being lied to and I still do not have the unit back. I purchased a Sony RX100 II 6 months ago and I recently dropped it on the lens. The camera still took photos as normal, but the covers that slide in front of the lens when off would not close. I do understand that this is not a warranty issue, but I wanted it fixed. I sent it in to Laredo, and they did diagnose the problem in a timely manner. The quote however, was absurd. $350.00 to fix it. I called, and talked to Marcus. Marcus was very polite and nice on the phone. I have no issue with Marcus. What I do have issue with is the fact that they say I need a whole new lens. The say the cost is so high because they needed to replace the entire lens. There is no way that can be true. I was then offered the chance to buy a refurbished camera for the same price as the repair. That would be a nice offer if my camera was destroyed, but it was only slightly damaged. I asked for them to send it back damaged, and I will just use it as is til it dies. I was on the fence about selling my 10,000 worth of Canon gear and switching to the A7R and lenses, but I now know I will be sticking with Canon. Their repair center is awesome!!! read more

My NEX 7 Camera temp. stopped working. I thought it was an issue with the battery or perhaps a light fall it took but was not sure because it worked fine for the last few weeks. I found an extended warranty I had purchased so I called your service center to inquire about getting it checked out. The rep told me the warranty was only for a Zeiss E mount lens I had purchased purchased at the initial camera store transaction. bad news but fine...He did tell me that since it was only a few months out of warranty he could offer me a discounted rate to have it evaluated and fixed "like new" if it needed anything. I was disappointed when I got an email saying to call and not a fixed camera in the mail. I called and was told the camera could not be fixed- This was a surprise because it did work fine when I sent it and the following pics look like very minor issues. The rep specifically told me I could get a new replacement (not a factory refurbished- I made sure he was very clear about that) for around $400 but Sony would need to keep my camera after I asked him if I could get it back (I assumed since the damage was minor they would clean it and sell it as a refurbished model. ) I agreed because I need a nice camera for work and any issue no matter how small would be a problem if I was in the field. I received the wrong camera back. It was a NEX6! I called and was told that was the replacement. I thought "this is crazy!" why a NEX 6, why not a NEX 3 or 5 for that matter? Heck why not send me another Cybershot to the one I own if you are going to pick a replacement at random. I bought the NEX7 for a reason and anything else is unacceptable. I would have told the Sony rep "no" to the almost $400 purchase and had him send my working camera back. Wow, Sony Electronics refuses to honor warranty for their high-end headphones! I purchased Sony WH1000XM3 headphones from an eBay storefront for a Sony Authorized Dealer on Sept 6, 2019. These headphones have a 1 year repair or replacement warranty. I'm less than 8 months into the warranty period and the power button, bluetooth, and noise canceling all stopped working. That's bad enough after moderate use, but little did I know that they won't honor their warranty for any product purchased from eBay, even if you can demonstrate it was brand new in the retail box. My situation had an additional twist since the eBay store was a storefront for a Sony authorized dealer in NJ. After being drug through knotholes to comply with their documentation requirements and obtaining an invoice from the authorized retailer, it became evident that Sony Electronics will use any excuse to shirk their responsibility to honor their product warranty as indicated by their response to my BBB complaint: "Sony dealt with the customer and explained warranty terms. Customer purchased the unit from eBay. Products that are purchased from eBay, and all other second-hand sellers/liquidators are not Sony's authorized retailers; they do not have warranty with Sony. The document he provided, that was supposed to serve as the invoice, came from the retailer of the seller from eBay, and it is not a valid receipt." read more

Nobody will probably believe me based on what the other reviewers are writing... please keep in mind that people are much more likely to complain about poor service than they are to write about exceptional service. We sent in our camera with a damaged screen- had it for less than 90 days. The told us to expect a call if we would need to foot the bill, and no call if it would be covered under warranty. Several weeks went by with no call: no news is good news. We were able to track that the repair center had it; once it was fixed we were able to track when it was sent out. Arrived today in perfect working order in careful and safe packaging. The whole process took about three weeks which is pretty incredible speed for warranty repairs. No complaints here. read more

Worst EVER! I've sent my nex 7 in for a sensor repair. Got it back in 2 weeks. I thought everything was fine until I grabbed my camera and felt some plastic parts were coming out. I was really disappointed and called up sony, They asked me to send the camera back to the repair center so they can fix it AGAIN. They did not charge me for the 2nd repair (cuz it was their mistake) and took them another week to send the camera back to me. It was a f*cking nightmare. I couldnt use my camera for 2 months and couldnt bring my camera to yellowstone for family trip. I cant believe those irresponsible technicians made me pay for their mistake. I was so disgusted by them and tried to complaint about the situation but they kept transferring my call. If you are planning to buy a Sony Product. It was very quick and easy. I called the service number, explained to the person in regular English what I was experiencing with the product, she gave me an order #, wrote down the copy and also sent to my email, received an empty pre-paid box via Fed Ex all paid for within 3 days when I called. I sent the product in it on Tuesday, dropped it off my local FedEx drop box (Local Print Store) the item came back to me on Friday - that very same week- fixed, possibly a new replacement. Even looked at the status on FedEx tracking shows the time it arrived there and on the same day within 4 hours they (Sony) sent me a new package information back which arrived Friday which it did. Very simple, but I did include a copy of my original purchase when I shipped them the damaged/faulty product. I don't think many people keep their original receipts anymore. If you don;t have your original receipt, then it might be harder for some, but I was happy with the service I recieved! read more

Sony Repair "Sucks"! One of the worst experiences I has ever had with any company. I have called and called trying to find out about my Pro Camera SLT-a77., I was sent an estimate on a repair that was super high and all the note said was the price for the repair and call an toll free number to approve the repair. That's when all hell broke loose. First to took over an 1/2 hour to reach someone. The person on the phone had no idea what I was referring to even with the Order # took another 1/2 hour and still could help me. Then he found it told me I would get an email within 24 hours, didn't speak good English got mad because he didn't understand me so ask to speak with either a repair technician or a supervisor he lied then hung up on me. I called back waited another 1/2 hour got the same guy His exact words were "I told you there was no supervisor and you would get an email and hung up again. I waited another day (today) for the email which I never received, called waited this time 45 minutes got the same guy, asked him to speak to a supervisor his exact words were "I'm sick of this" which I replied "What did you say" no answer so I asked again now he tells me he is the supervisor and didn't I tell you to wait for the email? and hung up. I I then call support explained my issue, gave him everything he needed (numbers, names) he could not help me so he said let him talk to service before he put me on the line with them. Mind you I waited on each one of those phone calls over 1/2 hour each. Now I had to wait another 1/2 hour which I thought he was explaining my problem to the service person WRONG! To my surprise a lady comes on the phone with no idea what is going on with me or the problem. So I asked her to speak with a supervisor or a repair tech, but she said until I give her all of the info again she could not do anything. I asked if this was the repair facility or an off shore she lied and told me it was the repair facility, after continued questions she admitted she was an off shore. I asked to speak to someone who spoke English and at the facility, she would not do either. Now I am pissed off and have lost my patients. As I am penning this letter I still have not received the repair email or a call from anyone from Sony. I was switching from Canon Cameras to Sony Pro Cameras I have the SLT-A77 and the A700 and the A900 and was getting ready to buy the A99 not any more. The Hell with Sony! I took my laptop to a Tiger Direct for repair, they didn't fix what I needed to be fixed (hinges, and power button), and damaged my computer further (lost screws, and further damaged hinges, etc). To correct this, and because I no longer trusted an outside service I sent my laptop to this Sony Repair Center. While incompetent at least the people at Tiger Direct responded to customers. I haven't gotten a single response from Sony without first prompting them; this includes when I had to approve repair charges. I sent my laptop in the Friday after Thanksgiving, and as of this review I still haven't gotten it back. In the last week I have been told 3 times I would hear back from someone in 24 hours, and still hadn't heard back when I called 48 hours later. I have been told on two occasions that my item is ready to ship, or is in shipping when that wasn't the case. I still don't have my item, so I can't review the work. read more

I always wonder for whom yelp is saving zero star. Well, Sony Laredo Customer Dissatisfaction Center wins the most customer hostile warranty repair center hands down. When you compare the prices of Sony and other brands, you have to treat Sony as if that It has no US. Warranty. You can live happily without ever buying another Sony. Buying grey market Sony from Costco may be a good deal. Most Sony products are still made with decent quality Last year, Laredo puts made through hell with a defective camera. I documented my experience in my letter to Mr Mike Fasulo. I vow never buying another Sony gadgets again. I cannot explain what drove me to plunge $3,000 for a Vaio Pro. My pray for a defect-free computer got unanswered. After a few weeks of light use, I discovered that if leave the laptop to go to sleep on timer, I cannot wake it up. I have to press-hold the power key to do a cold boot. There is nothing in the event log. Most likely the machine hang before it enter into sleep. I was hoping this was software problem. I tried everything on the web. What about...yea, tried that. After a week of struggle, I called "Laredo". OMG, it is déjà vu! I can write a book about the following week. Good knows how many system refresh, BIOS dates, firmware update, driver updates, 8.1...yes, I did the BIOS upgrade first. The tech was able to remote-control my laptop. She was able to see something in the event log and sleep reason codes. Finally she admitted that there was hardware defect and needs new mother board. Two days later, i received an empty box and ship label. I send out the same day. Actually there is another problem that machine. I've used the machine for a title over a month. It has been sitting on my desk or in my messenger with some loose documents and folders. The cover and bottom are already discolored. Under the magnifying glass, I cannot see any scratches. I used damp cloth to wipe the surface. It did not create more discoloration, but did it get rid of them. It turns out that the cardboard packing material to send back the computer was enough to scratch the silver paint on the housing. Today when I called Laredo, they told me that they are sending the machine back. They did the following to determine that they have fixed my PC: they used compressed air blow out any dust. They reinstalled the factory software and ran a generic diagnose program. I specifically ask him if the tried to reproduce the power management problem. It turns out that he did not know what problems i had. Just that they had run a test, and every thing should be working. About the discoloration, he said they would only address that kind of minor cosmetic issues if there is a recall. The machine is waiting for FedEx to pick up. Oh, no, they never try to take a box from the warehouse. But after i get the machine, if the problem is still there, I can always call them to send me a box and return label... Now I pray for strength to live though this. Is this worth it. read more

Unbelievable. Now the *second* time I sent back my RX100 for repair, and it is STILL not fixed. Simple issue where the flash pops up and the power for the whole unit shuts down. Yet they send it back and it still has the problem. Such a terrible experience. I received a Sony 505 e-reader as a gift for Christmas 2008. Loved the idea and used pretty often. It broke shortly after it's first birthday. It wouldn't turn off. Since I had several books which only the Sony can decipher, I purchased another Ereader - a 600. Within 3 months, the screen went bad. After a 20 minute wait and a total of 30 minute phone call, I was told I could exchange it for a refurbished. I don't like the idea that it's refurbished and not new, but I had no choice. Sony received my product on 10/21 (I have the tracking number and the name of the indivual who signed for it. Since then I have made at least 8 phone calls without satisfaction. First you need to wait a minimum of 20 minutes to talk to a live human being. Then you are placed on hold several times during the conversation - I can't find your order - let me check the other system, etc etc. One person said that I had called the wrong number and gave me a direct line to the Laredo Texas Exchange area so that I could get the correct information. It was a fax number! So back to the phone for another 25 minute wait. I have had promises that it would be overnighted, would be sent to an alternate address (so that I could use the product while I was away), and some even sounded like they were giving me the right answer, chastising their coworkers for giving me the wrong information. As of my last phone call, I was told they would call me back later in the day (because their Texas location wouldn't answer their phone - excuse me?). They still cannot locate my product and still haven't sent me a new one. They have now had my product for almost four weeks, almost the same amount of time as it was working and they don't even have a record of my product being sent even tho I have the tracking number and documentation from UPS. I do NOT recommend Sony products in any way shape or form. I personally will NEVER buy aother Sony product, particularly because of the customer service. Wow. I thought this place could not be as bad as everyone is making it sound in their reviews. I was wrong. This place is horrible! Requests for service and for call-backs go into a deep, black hole, despite promises made to the contrary. I was told three weeks ago that they were looking into repair and/or replacement options for my electronics and would give me a call back in 24 to 48 business hours. I call back three weeks later, and my case is still there and supposedly "still being worked on." Argh! Three weeks--not for the fix--but just to find out an answer about options! I spoke with Alex and Robert who also referred to the elusive Xavier Martinez, manager. It would not surprise me if this guy actually doesn't even exist. Talk about a ship without a captain! EXCITED. Son's warrantied XPERIA- Z cell phone that was not charging (by USB or cradle) and had pink colored water- detection patch, WAS REFURBISHED to almost new condition by these guys. Turn around was 4.5 service days.... Terrific service. Lots more than I can say for our carrier which only rung hands and shared we, "should have continued" with the rip off insurance plan. I am writing a review for the repair service of my Sony xperia phone. I bought a brand new unlock xperia ZL c6506 from sony store in December. After several months, the sim card slot stop working and cannot detect any sim card in the phone. I knew that it is just a faulty sim card slot reader and it can be replaced in 15 mins and the component cost less than 1 dollar. However, this phone is still under warranty and I don't want to lose it by repairing it myself. So, I decided to send it to Sony Service Center. I sent the phone back in March. They said that the repair service only takes 14 days. I keep calling them last month to check the repair status. What they said is that the phone is still under repaired and I will get it back soon. Now, one month has passed, I called them and they told me that the phone cannot be repaired and needed to be replaced. And they said they will replace my Xperia Zl unlocked phone, c6506 (in white color) with a Xperia Z T-mobile phone, c6606 ( in black) The problem is Xperia ZL is the only phone which support all the frequencies in European, Asian Countries and also US.( Band I, Band II, Band IV, Band V and Band XVII). The phone that they offer is a T mobile phone which is locked and only support US frequencies. (Band IV only) I paid a lot more to get an unlocked phone because I travel a lot. I need a phone to support frequencies in Asia and US. And now Sony tried to convince me to replace it with a locked phone. I called them several times, and they keep pushing me to accept the Xperia Z locked phone. I keep telling them I need a unlocked phone for my work and I want a same model phone. But they still saying that Tmobile xperia Z is the same phone. They even cut off my phone when I try to explain my situation. At last, I talked to their supervisor and he told me that they don't have the ZL in stock. So the only option that I got would be either accepting the xperia Z T mobile phone or get back my unrepaired ZL phone. I told them a Brand new ZL is still abundant in the market. I can still see it in stock in sony online store, sony retail store and amazon. However, they said they dont' t have that phone in stock in the repair center. So, I told them to repair the phone, which just need to replace the sim card reader. But the supervisor said they cannot fix it. The supervisor then told me to wait for call as they want to talk to the repair center first. As of today, one month has passed. I still do not hear anything from sony repair center and I still haven't got back my phone. read more

My experience with the Sony Service Center in Laredo, TX was exemplary. I had sent in an in-warranty CyberShot camera for repairs that was barely functioning. Admittedly, I didn't receive an email confirmation on the receipt of the product at the service center but I chose not to bother them with questions regarding the status of the repair on a daily basis. However, when I tracked the status in a few days expecting fully to see either it was not repairable or will take a few weeks at the very least, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that it was not only repaired, it was on a Fedex truck for delivery to my home. Everything checked out fine and so hats off to Sony's excellent service, in line with all their excellent products. Way to go, Sony and thank you! read more

There really should be a "0 Star". Or even negative. Shipping tracking number shows my phone arrived there over a month ago. 10+ contacts on my part, 4 supervisor escalations, and still nobody can tell me where my device is. They cannot even confirm it's there. Sony Support can only send emails. The repair center doesn't answer. This system is failed and broken. $600 device just floating out there and you can't ask anyone where it is or what the next step is. Shame on you Sony. read more

Absolutely the worst service I have ever seen. We are talking about a defective memory stick. It has been almost 2 months and, dozens of calls and still no resolution. They do not keep their word. Now they want to pay me for the memory stick,; but not reimburse me for the cost of mailing it to them. The place is a joke. They only employ people with very limited English skills and no customer service skills. They were to call me today, and guess what? No call. This is typical for these jokers. read more

This Sony Repair Center is the very best for a repair and return center. I shipped my BDP-CX960 player on the 15 of Feb.and it was repaired and returned on Mar 2, 2013. My two month old Sony DSC-RX100M II Cybershot died. Within a week the Laredo center replaced the mother board and returned it. I just wish they had kept me updated on the progress. On one phone call, I was told someone would call me the next day to let me know what was wrong the unit. Yet, no one called me. Other than that, their service was fine, and every person I spoke was very courteous and professional. read more

I've been a fan of Sony a long time. Great quality audio equipment, cameras and TVs. I've also had two Vaio laptops. I have to say that although I'm a bit disappointed with the reliability of this most recent laptop purchased last year, the service I was provided under warranty is TOP RATE - none better! The laptop had multiple issues that went wrong just before the warranty ran out and they took care of me at the Glendale,CA store. They sent out the computer to the repair center for me and I had the laptop back in a week, completely repaired with no charge. Special thanks to the Texas repair center staff who were amazing! They assign me a specific person that was responsible for the repair. I was e-mailed friendly and very professional regular updates on the status of my computer and the team fixed everything that was wrong under warranty. I was also sent status updates on delivery and tracking info. They even fixed a problem I forgot to tell them about! Who does that?? Amazing! This is the second time I've had to bring back a Sony product under warranty and they have truly honored it - whatever it takes to make things right. read more

I was pretty scared to send my Dualshock 4 controller having read all the reviews, but these guys came through! The day they received my controller the replaced it and sent it back on the same day!
