When we mounted the horses, my son's horse, by the name of 'Three,' tried to bite my daughter's leg who was on the horse, 'Bella.' Then 'Three' tried to bite Bella's neck. Our young guide then put a muzzle on all of the horses. We proceeded to the trail - my horse 'Vinny' kept trying to walk off to the side of the trail, in the bushes. I was then told by the guide that Vinny did not like mud and was trying to avoid walking through the mud. For the record, it had just rained that morning. If Vinny did not like mud, why did they allow him to be out on the trail? Needless to say, Vinny was not happy and took off running through the trees, threw me, knocked me unconscious. I was attended to by the ambulance, then emergency room. I have been struggling since, as I recover from a concussion and whiplash (neck and back). Been out of work for almost a month. Not once have I received a correspondence from the Serenbe Inn to see how I was doing, or apologize for the actions of their horse. I also noticed the next day my credit card was charged the full amount. Dangerous - They do not care about the riders. My son mentioned that after the horse threw me and while I was on the ground unconscious, the horse was stomping all around me. As my son was running towards me, from a distance he thought I was being stomped by the horse. Fortunately, not. BE CAREFUL! Serenbe Inn, I was really surprised by the lack of customer service and customer care. No call - No email - No apology - NO CARE!

This farm took a lot of time to decorate and we loved the different holidays that they catered to as well (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas). There are so many different holiday songs playing on the farm at the same time, but the sounds don't collide. It was pretty impressive that they could achieve that. Service: The bartender was really patient and made delicious drinks. The staff that helps you stay on track during the tour were friendly and even curious about your opinions along the way. We didn't get a chance to try the food trucks, but they looked pretty good from what we saw. Would I recommend? Absolutely! Will I be back? Maybe, it's just a bit far.

Spotted Hills Farm is located on 101 rolling acres with a full-sized, lighted jumping arena, dressage arena, covered round pen, exercise arena, cross-country course (with water jump), full or partial board and much much more. They also offer both English and Western riding lessons while the barn primarily trains in eventing. I can not wait to see what the Spotts family will do to continually improve this great place. My horse is very happy here and is being very well taken care of!

Joined the Soft Society Social for their Ponies and Pilates workshop on Sunday, May 31st. The…read moreweather cooperated and we had an amazing afternoon. Upon arrival, there's plenty of visitor parking in front of the stables. I took a Lyft but there didn't seem to be any issues. There's also room to park by the lake next door. The property is too lovely to describe - you just have to go. The Soft Society event included a specialty matcha drinks, a Pilates class, feeding the horses and making floral arrangements. The owners were on site to answer questions and support with feeding the horses. They were so patient and excited to eat the carrots and apples we had. They posed for photos and were the most gentle animals. The grounds are several acres - we did Pilates on a grassy hilltop then did the bouquets by the lake. We passed other women riding and grooming the horses in the stables. They all looked well fed, the area was clean and well maintained. By the lake - several cars were parked to fish. There's also trails to hike. They have a couple of tiny houses on the grounds too that help non-traditional people that need housing. It's a great place to visit, easy to get to and I can't wait to get back!

Everything seems to be done in order seniority. Some of the boarders are nice some of the staff is pleasant but NOT worth the money. Only time I got to speak to owner was when I was reporting rude or disrespectful behavior.
