My dogs bruised arm full of burst blood vessels. They needed DROPS of blood and did this kind of damage.
    Emma M.

I took my dog in for routine vaccinations as i believed it would be a little less expensive and slightly more trust worthy than the petco clinic. While I was there I was pressured into a heartworm test my dog did not need as she has been on preventative since she was a puppy. I was not informed that blood had to be taken for the test and when I asked if the test was necessary the vet tech was extremely rude and unresponsive to my follow-up questions. They did the test and restrained my small well behaved dog to the point of bursting her blood vessels and causing her entire arm to swell and bruise a dark black red. I was not informed of the results of the heartworm test in office and was also not informed there had been any issues. Later in the day, I found my dog nursing and licking the spot that the bruising bloomed from. Not Happy. I called the office and they wouldn't give me any kind of explanation over the phone. They had me come back in and meet with the office manager, who indeed confirmed it wasn't normal and they were sorry. Later that day my dog began pooping blood. I called again concerned and of course their only solution was to bring her back in. I was then fear mongered into believing that it couldn't be them at fault and they needed to run a $300+ blood test in order to make sure my dog wasn't bleeding internally. Guess what, she wasn't I truly believe the extreme bruising and GI issues were directly related to the stress and mistreatment my dog experienced in this office. Their solution, medications that they also charged me almost $100 that did not work and only made my dog vomit. I am now out $700 and left with a dog that is afraid at the vet who has always loved the vet in past experiences. I am starting to understand why this office is able to see me the same day anytime I call. I will not be returning and I suggest you look elsewhere as well if you care about your animals.

Took my dog in with a Hematoma, she had an ear infection $160 and the gave me meds that made her butt bleed a lot of blood all over my bed I thought she was dying took her back in cost me $195 the second visit because of the meds that made her butt bleed. Scheduled surgery for her ear $370 and stressed cutting her claws while she was unconscious because her claws are black and she hates having it done. Pees all over because she gets so stressed out about it. I cannot do it because she freaks out so bad they broke one of her claws off and did a crappy job on the others not what I had in mind while she was completely unconscious im pretty sure they didn't even clip the dew claws. When she went in to get her stitches out cost me another $123. for the the claw they broke and some ear wash not very happy and she had been acting weird since.

Not compassionate or caring for the pet and people, only caring about themselves and the money not the animals

The check-in process is consistently quick and efficient (which, if you've ever wrangled an anxious pup, luckily mine is all of 13 pounds, in a waiting room, you know is a gift). We are normally taken promptly back by Emanuel, who sets the tone with professionalism and kindness. Dr. Fritzler is thorough, patient, and never makes me feel rushed. He answers every question I have, even when I ask the same one multiple times in slightly different ways (purely for research purposes, of course, not because I'm not understanding). As someone who's mindful of costs, I really appreciate that recommendations are practical and tailored to my budget without compromising care. Having visited several veterinary offices over the years, this one stands out as especially welcoming, efficient, and genuinely dedicated to the well being of the animals they treat. My pup maybe anxious going to the vet, but Dr. Fritzler has won her over.

Dropped our dogs off for boarding and on Day 6 they call to tell both of our dogs are infested with fleas. Not only that they suggested we have our home fumigated due to the excessive amount of fleas. We DO NOT have fleas now nor have we ever. We also use another vet who just saw the dogs 2 weeks ago...did an exam and rabies. No fleas/flea dirt was seen then. There are no fleas in our car from transporting nor any fleas on us. Both dogs are now coughing their heads off so we are heading to the emergency vet to see if they have kennel cough or physical damage to their throat.

They misdiagnosed my cat with feline leukemia, and acted like I was lying when I told them he was never around other cats and was strictly indoors. When my new vet asked them for his records, they denied having any records for him in their system. I believe this is because I told them exactly what I thought of their business before leaving for good. My new vet retested my cat, and he was negative. She also explained exactly what causes a false positive. It was an error made at McGee Street. This is only one of several problems I had there. If you are I able to, I recommend playing nice with this place until you've paid and you have your pet back. Ask the receptionist for their records before letting them know you are taking your business elsewhere. That way you have a copy in case they "disappear from the system." That's exactly what I did, and I am very grateful for it. Oh, and everyone else here is right. They overcharge for their services and rarely include everything in their itemized quotes.
