This Jewler is a true craftsman! I have a Samsung Gear 2 digital smartwatch and the front screen started to separate from the watch body. I contacted Samsung and since it was a discontinued model they would not even look at it. I tried several jewlery stores and watch repair shops and received the same response. When we arrived in Venice, FL this season my wife suggested that I take it to Soo's Jewelry, since they had repaired several items in the past for her. When I showed the watch to the jeweler he looked it over and agreed to give it a try. He explained that he would have to remove the super glue that I had tried first then use a special epoxy to reseal the face to the body. No guarantees were given, but he would try. Well as you can see from the picture it turned out perfect. This guy is a true craftsman, which is a hard thing to find these days. If you have any jewelry in need of repair this is the place to take it. He even has a laser welding machine to repair even the smallest items. Also they carry some of the most unique jewelry items I have ever seen. Several of which now reside in my wife's jewlery box. read more

Last year I spent Jan. thru Apr. in the Venice area. During that time the frame on my eye glasses seperated from the top of the frame from the portion that holds the lens (if you can picture it). So, after going to various eye glass vendors on Rt41 and various jewelry stores on Rt41 and Venice Village AND one pawn shop on Rt41 trying to find someone that could possibly solder it back together. Obviously the eye glass shop did not have a repair facility on site and tried to sell me new frames. The jewelry stores also did not have a repair facility and the pawn shop, although they do small soldering repairs to jewelry would not touch the frame. I happened upon Soos Jewelry in the Brick Yard Plaza and thought what the heck. Well, the experience was one of the best I have had in years. The gentleman told me exactly what he was going to do to fix the frame, but also told me what could happen (discoloring of the frame because of the soldering, never happened) during the process, being that it was so close to the lens frame. I had him do the job. So, here it is approx. a year down the road, glasses worn everyday, and nothing has changed since the job was complete. AND, it was done while I waited. What made this experience top notch was not only the job done, but the customer service that was implemented into the process. I have since returned this year to have a watch band repaired and will be heading back to have a bracelet repaired. Great place, Great people, Great customer service. What else can you ask for in today's market. read more
