I was upset that he tells me $230 on the phone and then adds $120 when I come in. We had a few heated words and he knocked off $50, which I accepted. He also told me the watch was worth at least $600 but when I went to an auction house for appraisal I was told it was worth $75. What's more, 6 days later the second hand and the hour hand both fell off and are floating around between the crystal and the dial. I'm going to a reputable dealer to get that re-repaired. He told me several times that it's a beautiful watch and that I should keep it. I think he didn't want me to find out its real value.
