We had such a wonderful experience buying our first Rolex at the Diamond Vault! So happy to support this family run business and find exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much! A bit more about our visit... When I first called the shop to inquire about their offerings the customer service was off the charts. A well spoken customer service associate answered all of my questions and even remembered my name. Upon our arrival we were offered delicious coffee while we shopped. The three brothers who are sons of the founders were personable, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. The Rolex we found is so beautiful with diamonds and gold accents. We were ecstatic because in today's market where a nice Rolex is hard to find! The shop owners took the time to explain how to care for the watch and what to expect as an owner. This is a real, old-fashioned jewelry store. The owners know what they are doing. The people are nice, attentive and don't over-sell. I trust them with my diamonds and gems. I've had my mother's heirloom jewelry remade for my children. I had my wedding watch necklace made into a pocket watch for my son, to celebrate his own wedding. I'm sorry to have to write a negative review, but after my fiance and parents had a great experience purchasing my engagement ring here, I have not had a good experience. My aunt's ring is also from here; my dad has bought other jewelry pieces here. My ring, which is beautiful, was only about seven months old when I noticed a missing diamond on the side and that the ring itself was bent out of shape - it was no longer rounded and was way too big. I took it in and told them there was no way anything I'd done could have caused that kind of damage - I take it off to exercise, swim, clean, shower, etc. I'm not perfect, but I am very careful. The man we worked with had an attitude the entire time as if I'd been lifting 100 lb weights with just my left hand every day, and my fiance and I both got the sense that he 'blamed' me for the issues, even though my mom's wedding ring and engagement ring are also 14K gold, not much thicker, 35 years old, and she wears them every single day. He told me my ring had no warranty for these issues and wouldn't be considered defective unless I lost another stone or it happened again - it's less than a year old! I was also disappointed that my fiance saw the woman he and my dad worked with to purchase the ring and other jewelry items while we were having these conversations, and she never once came over to see if she could help or even say hi. Nearly 2 weeks later, they had me come all the way back after they rerounded it to try it on and see if it still needed to be sized, which I knew it would be, just to leave and wait another 5 days for it to be finished. When I picked it up, they charged me over $100 more than they told me it would cost when I left it there. I looked at my claim receipt, and there was one item that the man we worked with "forgot" to put on the original receipt even though we'd spoken at length about everything they'd be doing while they had my ring, and that was one of the things - I had no idea it would be an additional $115, and they never told me that until I picked it up. It's a shame they don't stand behind their products or help out loyal customers. Had we been treated even a bit better, we'd have bought anniversary bands, Christmas gifts, etc. here. My fiance got his wedding band at Jared's, where we were treated 100x better - and it only took 2 days for the ring to be resized. We will not be returning. read more

Love their talent and skills working on my very sentimental gold bracelets and necklaces. They also have a level of security that really gave me piece of mind when leaving my gold pieces with them for repair. Highly recommend the services of this fine establishment. BEWARE! Diamond Vault associates lie to customers. If a jeweler lies about one thing, how are you going to trust them with anything else? A dishonest jeweler is a matter for concern. In 2012 my husband and I purchased, from Diamond Vault, a new setting for my engagement ring and placed the stone from my original ring in it. There was never any discussion that we might be purchasing a new stone from Diamond Vault, I made it perfectly clear that I felt strongly about using the diamond from the ring with which my husband proposed to me. While deliberating the purchase we were told by our sales associate, Paul, that the setting included lifetime complimentary Rhodium coatings - a white gold ring will yellow somewhat over time and needs Rhodium coatings to restore the white shine, generally about once a year with normal wear. Considering the jeweler who sold my husband the original ring charged over $100 for each Rhodium "bath", we took particular notice of this offer and factored it into the investment in this new piece of jewelry. If one postulates that I may keep this setting for 20 years or more, and that I would have had it refreshed annually, then the complimentary Rhodium baths would have offered a savings of over $2,000.00. I have taken the ring in a few times for its Rhodium refresher and there has never been an issue. However, when I called today I was informed that unless I had purchased both the setting and the diamond from Diamond Vault then I would be charged for the service. To reiterate, there was never any question of us purchasing a stone when we bought the setting; yet we were promised the free service for the life of the ring. They are now refusing to honor a commitment they made when we purchased a piece of jewelry from them. If Diamond Vault will lie to customers about something so relatively minor then how on earth can one trust them to be honest when tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars are at issue? read more

I purchased a black diamond ring from the diamond vault spent $$9250.80 it's a beautiful ring unfortunately the diamonds keep falling out I've had it back to the diamond vault more than once , they sent in in for service I got it fixed and a diamond fell out again took it back I am in Nashville Tennessee and they are in Sarasota Florida. when I took it in for service again i asked to return it the owner said NO. he tells me this is a ring that should only be worn on special occasions can you believe this special occasion I don't wear this ring every day and besides I now worry about losing more diamonds out of it it is definitely a design defect and on the last invoice received from them they state at the bottom. **Client advised that any future repairs will incur a fee **. really it's there defect !! I would highly recommend you all to think about doing business with them they do not stand behind the jewelry that they are selling or customer service..... why would I NOT want to wear a ring that cost this much absolutely ridiculous. read more

You remember that episode on Seinfeld, the infamous "Soup N@Z&"? Today I had the displeasure of meeting the "Diamond N@Z&". So, I have a few words of advice. If you don't  intrinsically know,  prior to entering the store, the exact rings you will want to be wearing for the rest of your life, and/or you do not gloat over the ones that the owner so graciously allows you to try on... this store is not for you my friend. We went in to purchase our rings today on New Year's Eve 2021. Yes, I said PURCHASE. I could not articulate or see, exactly what style I wanted, so I told the sales clerk that I will know it when I find it. I was a bit nervous, so I asked my boyfriend to go look around to see what he liked and asked him to look at the men's ring selection to pick out his. In the meantime, if I  didn't love a ring I was offered to try on, the owner abruptly asked, "what's wrong with it?" I thought he was joking around with me. The last time he said  "what's wrong with it?", my boyfriend overheard him. He kindly defended me and said something like, "there is nothing "wrong" with it, it's about her finding what she wants."  No other comments were ever made at any point by either of us, regarding price, quality or selection. Long story short, we felt an unwelcome vibe from the owner. As we were leaving I said, "thank you", to which the owner responded, "don't come back". There we were, standing at an exit door where security is high and you have to push a button to enable the door to unlock. For that moment I can only describe a feeling of fear and panic going through my body. I felt like this man had us trapped and was going to call the police for who knows what reason. The owner then told us that we cannot ever come back because "we scare him". He said it approximately 4 times. He said he was "scared" because my boyfriend kept looking around his store. The irony is, my boyfriend easily could buy anything in that store! Words cannot describe the horror I felt in this store today. My brain is still trying to understand why this man had the audacity to say this to us, especially without any provocation of any kind. I question was he judgmental because we were not dressed or look a certain way? Did he profile us because of our ethnicity?  We will never know the answer to this. I can only hope he watched us get into our $100,000+ car in his parking lot and head back to our waterfront home on Siesta Key.  Diamond Vault, a must to avoid! read more

We have been nothing but thrilled with our experiences at the Diamond Vault. I actually purchased my wife's engagement rings at their old store before the move and the guys took the time to go over the important stuff with me regarding buying an engagement ring. As a guy that buys golf stuff, Jewelery is a massive unknown to me so them showing me various styles and colors and explaining the ratings to me really helped me in making my decision. Since then we have bought more rings (of course) and some miscellaneous jewelry and had them clean and maintain our finer jewelry and have always been happy with our experiences. They have even helped my with changing out my wedding band a few times (carbide can't be sized) as my fingers got adjusted to wearing a band. I took a very high-quality bracelet into the store to have an additional few Stones added to it and they helped design the piece and it broke within just a few weeks of wearing it twice. Upon taking it back to the store they said "yes we remember helping you do this but you will have to be charged to have it fixed", even though it broke where they had done the weld and the additional work on the piece. There are many reputable Jewelers around that we have been in contact since then and I will of course take this piece to them so that they can repair it correctly. These folks do not stand behind their jewelry and they do poor inexperienced work. read more

Soon or later you end up in a diamond store. I've been in many for I have had many women in my life and o buy and sell gold. Never have I had the experience I had today. I won't name the individual because I'm certain everyone at this store acts the same. I call about a diamond to be checked out. Set my appointment and showed up on time. The women whom set my appointment was very quick and to the point without issue. The gentleman when I arrived was nothing but impeccable with his knowledge and service. I will use this store in the future for any means. He also looked over what gold I had to and schooled me weather it was real or not without charge. Then for five minutes listening to me explain and show video of my work.. what a great store and people. Finally a nice place to buy Jewelry around Florida. Wow! Recently, I brought my husband's watch in to replace the battery. Battery lasted about 2 weeks and when we brought it back in to get it replaced, the "selling" started about all of the additional work needed. Additionally, I brought in a nice watch which was not working and a simple battery did not work. I agreed to send it out to get a price for service and was told, as well, that my watch was not worth more than about $150.00. The price for service - $375.00, so it was an easy decision to not have it serviced. After I picked up the watch, I felt a bit "uneasy," and decided to bring the watch to Sarasota Watches and get their perception. Within 10 minutes, I was told that the watch, today, was worth around $350.00 or so, a battery was inserted ($10.00 vs. $15.00 at Diamond Vault) and the watch has been working perfectly well. When the watch does need service, it will cost $150.00 - big difference!!!! Just don't like to feel like I am getting "ripped off." Always check out your decision. read more

We selected a beautiful stone from the Diamond Vault. It was full of fire and colorless. We walked all around the store and looked at it in every possible lighting. The window for natural light. Dark areas and even fluorescent lighting. Michael was even able to place it into my ring temporarily so we could see what it would look like mounted. We loved it. The INSISTED we pay with a check or the price would be a lot more. So we paid and left it to be mounted in the ring I supplied. When we picked up the mounted ring we were taken aback. The stone did not look the same as what we purchased. It was at least 2 shades yellower and had very little fire. So yellow. We were very disappointed. It was not pleasant after that. They did accept a return after a lot of stress and they charged us a huge restocking fee. Would never do business with them again. We ended up purchasing a stone from Blue Nile and had it mounted by Fast Fix. The diamond we got from Blue Nile is amazing and it was a better quality than the original one Diamond Vault sold us for less money! Even with having to pay the ridiculous restocking fee we ended up with a better diamond for less money. We made an appointment with Fast Fix and never left our stone with them. Instead we watched them mount it right in front of our eyes. So you can get a beautiful diamond from them, but I highly recommend 1. paying with a credit card so returns will be easier and you are protected. By paying with a check, they had our money and there was little we could do. So they took a ton of our money and we walked away with nothing. And 2. buying your stone and having it mounted by someone else like Fast Fix where it can never leave your sight. read more

We bought my fiancé's engagement ring at the Diamond Vault. We made several trips to the store from the tampa area and it was worth the drive each time. Kim helped us find the perfect setting. Her knowledge and customer service are second to none. I felt guilty because I bought the stone at a wholesaler and took away her commission. After admitting this to her she told me that the employees there do not work on commission. I believe this is a vital reason why they are unbeatable. When it comes to turning over jewelry for repair work, and are unsure of who to trust, look no further than the expert jewelers at the Diamond Vault. I recently brought in a silver ring that was not only heavily damaged, but actually broke in half under examination by the bench jeweler. I thought that it was a lost cause, but was assured that the ring could be repaired. I had my doubts. In less than a week I returned to find not only was the ring repaired, it was also resized to fit me. The work and craftsmanship on my ring was nothing short of amazing! I'd been looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend. After having a pretty bad experience at another place across the street and up the road (hint: stay away from the neon signs!), walking in to the Diamond Vault was awesome. They had an unbelievable selection of diamonds and the lady that helped me, Kim, explained why one stone was more expensive than another even if they were about the same weight. I recently had a ring sized ,I didn't ask for the platinum that was removed from the ring .I have had rings resized in the past by other jewelers and they always return the piece of platinum or gold from resizing .I had called them and they informed me it goes into the "jewelers stash"I know this seems petty ,but when you are charging a fee to resize a ring the value of the metal should be deductad or at least given back.This seems dishonest and I will not be returning to this jeweler. read more

I would have giving zero stars if possible. They offered to buy my Rolex watch for a price, several thousand dollars, when the salesman came back to the office he handed me a check for hundreds less than the agreed amount. I am a businessman and know what we agreed on. I said I just want my watch back and will leave. So the owner comes into the office screaming at me that I am not living up to my end of the deal. He was in my face and I could feel his breath and feel his angry spit as he said I was calling him a thief. I just asked for my watch back and did not want a confrontation , it was scary but I knew if I can leave I will never come back. This was unbelievable, but I knew I was not going to win so I just wanted to get out with my watch. I ended up selling my watch for hundreds more to a dealer in Venice. I will never go here again. STAY AWAY!!! I bought an engagement ring here and was ripped off... The gold wasn't 24kt as I was told and there was no stamp. The diamond had multiple flaws.... I paid $1000 and I brought it to another jeweler and was so embarrassed to find out it was practically worthless... I received $30 for the gold and spent an extra $50 to put the diamond in a necklace... Don't waste your time or money!!! read more
