I am a zero makeup user day to day so I was looking for something minimal while still having it stand out enough for people to know I am the bride. I sent her an email to inquire about her availability and she responded the next day. Hien only does makeup and she collaborates with another artist to style hair. Hien was the only point of contact and so all questions were directed to her for both hair and makeup. Hien was friendly, professional, and quick to respond to any of my questions throughout the entire process. I scheduled my trial with her on the day of my engagement photo shoot and LOVED how my makeup turned out. She assesses how comfortable you are with makeup and asks what your preferences are so that she can get a sense of what would be most suitable. I really appreciated that she provided suggestions on what to do if I were to cry or if my skin got oily. By the end of the day, my makeup still looked great despite sweating a little from running around on the beach. On the day of the wedding, she came on time at 7AM and set up all of her things very quickly. Hien and Metzli did HMU for my mom, the groom's mom, and myself. They were able to finish hair and makeup for all three of us by 10AM as promised, and everyone was very happy with their look. My mom even said that her makeup looked better compared to when she had her makeup done for my brother's wedding a few years ago. What I loved most about Nancy's work the first time was that I literally cried my eyes out at my sister's wedding, and I remember thinking my make up was absolutely ruined, and when I looked in the mirror I had never looked better. The make up stayed Until the next day. The second thing that I loved most about Nancy's work is that she has experience working with little to no eyebrow hair and drawing on eyebrows.
