I had a trial for my wedding makeup with Ang last night. She was awesome. I was a little nervous, but she was very down to earth and seemed to really listen to what I had to say. I brought several pictures of ideas I had. She followed them to a T. I was so impressed....after all, how many times have you shown a hair stylist or makeup artist a picture and come out looking nothing like it!? The airbrush makeup was so nice...I didn't feel like I had anything on my face! My eyes turned out AMAZING! They popped like they never have before! I can't wait to have my makeup done by her again on my wedding. It was difficult to find their location, so make sure you get more detailed directions than what your GPS can provide. read more

Angela did mine, my bridesmaids, and the moms' makeup for my wedding on Sept. 24, 2011. She did a fantastic job! The airbrush makeup is a must for brides. It stayed on, and looked good, from 11am-12am. I have been told by friends that their biggest regret of their wedding was that their makeup looked terrible by the end of the night. With the airbrush makeup you will look great even after dancing while wearing a giant dress all night. Angela and her assistant also easily handled 8 women ranging in ages from mid 20s to my grandmother in her late 70s. Prior to the wedding she came to my home and did a trial on the day of my bachelorette party, which was so great! I got to try out the airbrushing and I looked great when we went out. This review is for Victoria - I was referred to BotG by my wedding coordinator as I was having a destination wedding in San Diego and had NO idea of hair stylists in the area. Since my hair is really thick and can be a little difficult to manage, I was pretty nervous about finding a good hair stylist. Once I started to click around on BotG's FB and Instagram pages, I found that every time I liked a hair style - it was credited to Victoria, so I requested her. The booking process was really easy, and they were very accommodating to the fact that I was out of town and would need to do my hair trial just 2 days before the wedding (no pressure). Victoria was AWESOME. My most skeptical friends and family were so impressed - she was blazing fast, finished ahead of schedule, and did an incredible job on all of us. She worked with long, wavy, curly hair, boy-cuts, thin hair, short hair... pretty much every hair type imaginable and everyone looked gorgeous. My hair stayed in place all day & night, through heat-wave temps and lots of dancing, and I got so many compliments. To top it all off, she's super prompt and so incredibly sweet - a fun presence to have around on such a busy day. If I lived in SD, I'd certainly call on Victoria for all my formal hair styling needs - but since I don't I'm hoping the least I can do is refer her other brides to her cause she is a great personality with a great amount of talent. I found Beauti on the Go on yelp back in March. I booked BOTG for my wedding for myself and my bridesmaids and I couldn't be happier. I showed up for my trial and was greeted by Brandi (she is super sweet, too) and was introduced to Victoria, who did my bridal preview. I ABSOLUTELY loved my hair, it was perfect! Brandi and her team provided all of the hair and makeup services for my wedding and I couldn't have been happier! When I first reached out to Brandi, we set up a phone call where she listened to my needs and vision for my wedding day. We then had a preview session with her and Sara, where I showed them inspiration photos and they used those combined with my personal look to customize a hairstyle and makeup that were beyond what I could have imagined. On the wedding day, a team of 4 artists arrived at my hotel room and provided hair and makeup for all of my bridesmaids and several family members as well. I FINALLY DID IT!! Got my eyeliner done top and bottom with Beauti On the Go and LOVEE IT!! I have been a HEAVY black eye liner girl for 15+ and NEVER left the house without it! But over time, I am tired of the pencils (finally found a good one I can wear with my contacts and its sooo expensive) and all the years of concerns of toxins in the makeup, and not being able to go swimming or crying without looking like Alice Cooper lol - I finally took the leap and did it! I was also using the eyeliner to correct a slight imperfection where my left eye is a little lower than the other and the eye liner helped shape an optical illusion to even the eyes for me. So for me...permanent makeup was always something I wanted to get so I could stop worrying about these things. I came in for the straight black eyeliner and worked with Brandi to get the perfect shape and correction. And she got it right away. Then she showed me the color additions that could also be done....and added the brown color splash that added more color and lift to my eyes for a smokey look. Well I can honestly say I am sooooooo excited about not using eyeliner and finally can wake up and can leave the house with the "comfort" of my eyeliner intact! No pencils, no toxins and no smearing when my eyes teared up! Its sooo worth it and I appreciated the clean and comfortable salon where I was made as comfortable as possible and felt like I was getting a complete professional experience. I purchased the airbrush make-up sample and was amazed by the results with so little product. The girls at the Bazaar were all very personable and easy to talk to. I met their main point of contact, Jessica, and was glad to have a face to a name. I booked my make-up and hair previews quickly thereafter. The girls were very accommodating and came to my house to do the previews! Angela did my make-up and Victoria did my hair. Both girls listened to what my visions were and even played up the ideas I had. Having beauty professionals who actually listen to you is extremely important! Angela came with her own make-up chair including all of her equipment. Despite my dogs being up in our business, Angela did a great job on the make-up. Admittedly I've never used Beauti On the Go but my current hair stylist is a part of this company so I'm leaving a review for her here: Nicolette is AMAZING! First let me say she's a sweetheart. She's gorgeous, down to earth, and is a true hair stylist. I have never had a stylist talk to me so much about the TECHNIQUE being used on my hair to achieve the look that I wanted. I can not tell you how invaluable this is when you're getting your hair style changed. She knows exactly what you're feeling and does her best to fully illustrate what she's doing and how that's going to effect your look. She's a perfectionist and took her time making sure every strand was in place. I've gotten expensive cuts, cheap cuts, good cuts, cuts that made me cry but I have never walked away from a salon feeling like I truly loved what I had just paid for - until today! As a woman with long hair it's hard to part with even an inch sometimes; I let her take multiple inches off and I have no regrets. I haven't had my hair this short in years and I love-love-LOVE it. I've never had layers this smooth or a cut that seems to naturally flow with my hair. She's a genius. There is something terrifying and amazing with getting your make-up done for your wedding day. I'll admit I was very nervous to try the air brush make-up. I've always seen the celebrities look absolutely beautiful and I always wondered how could I feel beautiful like that? I met Brandi and her team at the Bridal Bazaar. They were so down to earth and related to me on my needs and wants that despite my first impression that all these girls were super pretty and would make me feel uncomfortable, they made me feel important. They didn't force a sale on me and really seemed to want to help people with their make-up which most vendors seem to just want to make the money. The difference in their customer service also showed with the $10 demonstrations they offered so the customers could try before spending the big money on what they wanted to eventually achieve. I was too shy to try the demo and booked a session alone. Brandi did my bridal preview and took the time to really get to know me. We talked about what I liked to do, what made me feel pretty and how I envisioned myself to look. She looked at my normal make-up wear, we discussed my wedding dress, my skin routines, everything. She showed me examples that fit my personality and explained her inspirational vision for my look. Every step of the way she made sure I felt comfortable and if at any time I didn't like something, she had no problem letting me take over or starting from scratch.When I looked in the mirror I wanted to cry, not because I was sad but because I was overwhelmed by happiness. They both took a lot of time with my mother and me to figure out exactly what we were looking for and gave some great ideas that would like nice on both of us.
