If I could give more stars I would. I had Rachel and her team come in to deep clean along with add ons which were necessary. My mom had past November 2025 and had neglected the house since my dad had alzheimers and insisted she can clean up. NOT! She also was an animal lover so the house smelled too. Cleaning crew showed up on time ready with the cleanup instructions. Rachel was on the ball. Knew everything that had to be done. 4 hours later she called said they're 30 minutes from being done. I asked for a quote online for a deep clean, and received one within 24hrs as well as a follow up from the company in order to get scheduled. I was unable to find the time to schedule something right away but about a month later I reached out again and they were able to fit me in their schedule within the next few days. On the day of my cleaning we had Rosio. She arrived on time, was very friendly, easy to communicate with, and she did a wonderful job. It was kind of a chaotic day in our house with my husband working from home, our two year old running around and our dog following Rosio around like she was the project manager. I've been relying on Sophia's Cleaning Service to maintain our large 5 bedroom home for well over a year. I have 3 teenagers and 2 large dogs so our house gets serious use on a daily basis. Andrea's team does a wonderful, thorough job cleaning all areas. The team is consistently on time, trustworthy, friendly, flexible and efficient. They even work around my sleeping teenagers when school is out! Our kitchen is always left sparkling, the dog hair is gone, and the beds and bathrooms are fresh and clean - the best feeling! We've had other cleaning services over the years, and since our house is large, cleaning was often a full-day affair. I appreciate that Sophia's Cleaning Service sends a team of 4 or 5 people to get the job done quickly. Communication is top-notch too. You can find cheaper options out there but in this case, you get what you pay for and Sophia's is by far the best in my opinion! Update: One of the owners did reach out to me. She did explain the reasoning behind the confusion regarding this review. She did offer a full refund. I appreciate her reaching out to me. I still stand by this review but to appreciate the time and effort ownership put into rectifying things. The front office seems very disorganized. It took multiple tries to nail down a date to have the cleaning service come to my house. I understand things happen and last minute cancellations occur, but it was just a lot of back and forth to finally set a date and time. The cleaners did a good job. Unfortunately they did not wear masks per my request with the front office. Additionally, the cleaners rearranged some of my belongings without checking with me first (no big deal, just a little annoying trying to find things later). Two of my air plants were presumably thrown away during the cleaning (the plants were in their pots before the cleaning staff got there, but had disappeared by the time the cleaners left). One of the cleaners also accidentally knocked a painting off the wall. The painting itself was not damaged but the wall was scratched up, and then cleaner scuffed the wall multiple times attempting to rehang the painting. I did reach out about the painting and the wall (I had not noticed the rearranged items or missing plants at the time of my initial email). The front office kindly offered me four dollars off of their hourly rate. However, the front office first told me that I would be charged for 9 HOURS of cleaning. I asked where they got this number from as the staff had been at my house for a total of one hour and 45 minutes, even multiplying that time by three staff member it's four hours and 35 minutes. The front office then said they had looked at the wrong account and adjusted my charges down to the correct time. After laying all of this out in a Google review, the front office reached out saying they were confused about the review. I had posted the review using an alternative Google account. I explained that no matter the name on the review, that was still my honest review. I could not believe that they were reaching out not about addressing the mistakes I discussed in my review, but about the name that my review was posted under. So long review short: the cleaning staff does an adequate job but the front office seems confused and disorganized. I understand mistakes happen but there were just too many mistakes, and being weirdly attacked for using an alternative Google account, for me to want to use this cleaning service again. I had a team of 3 people show up and I was quoted for combined 9-11 hours of work between all 3 people. They arrived on time (9 AM) and the team told me to come back around 1 PM. The scope of the job was clearly outlined ahead of time and there were no surprises upon arrival for the cleaning team. I got a call around 1:15 saying they had a combined 4 hours of work to go and would need to return another day because they had another job. When I asked why this happened they said the team lost track of time. I could not have them return the next day as we were moving in that day, but I had already tipped them prior generously. I asked the coordinator if there was any sort of discount she could apply and she discounted the hourly rate slightly given the circumstance which I appreciate, but I paid a lot of money for 12 combined hours of work and the job is not finished. The cleaning that was completed was good enough, but I wouldn't recommend. read more

I hired Sophia's to do a move-in clean in a house we bought. The specific service we hired them for was a move-in clean and added on cleaning the inside of cabinets, inside of windows, cleaning blinds and cleaning baseboards (which cost extra). What they actually did was abysmal. I noticed during the final walk-through that they didn't clean the inside of the bathroom drawers so I asked the head cleaner to do that - she said OK and proceeded upstairs (so I assumed she cleaned them). I should have checked again before they left because I later found the drawers had never been touched and still had toothpaste and hair in them. The insides of the windows were filled with dirt and clearly hadn't been touched. The blinds and baseboards appeared to have been lightly dusted but not actually cleaned. I had to hire another company to come in who actually scrubbed the blinds and baseboards. I shared my concerns with Sophia's and they offered a partial refund and re-clean. I took the partial refund but was not interested in having them in my house again. The kicker was Sophia's says all cleaners wear masks and gloves (due to COVID-19). Neither of the cleaners wore masks or gloves. Apparently they "forgot" even though the company says they remind them daily. I do not recommend them and would never hire them again. read more

Scheduled a move out cleaning for an empty house. Andre was very helpful over the phone. The day of the cleaning I requested a phone call 30 minutes prior to the crew arriving in order to make sure someone was there, which they did. They sent two women who spent hours cleaning the house. When I did a walk through later on I was slightly disappointed. The wood floor was still dusty and some of the wall plates were still clearly dirty. In addition, none of baseboards were touched (which is something specifically mentioned would be done). Decent job overall, but for the price it didn't meet my expectations. read more
