Drove the main strip of Baker City a handful of times, the kind of slow roll where you start memorizing storefronts whether you mean to or not. Coffee Corral catches your eye, then another spot slips past but Serbintos? That one sits different. Looks like a well-kept house with one of those clean U-turn driveways that practically invites you in like, "Go ahead, swing it around you're meant to be here." And when I finally did pull in, it clicked. This is what you want out here. Not the overthought, overbuilt, overcomplicated coffee experience just that smooth, no-nonsense drive-through, in and out, but still done right. There's something about being this far out that changes the equation. You stop measuring things the same way. I couldn't tell you the exact elevation, but I'll tell you this it feels higher. Not in feet, but in feeling. Like everything's been lifted just a notch above the usual grind. Out here, a good cup of coffee isn't just routine... it lands more like a small gift. And somehow, that makes it better than it has any right to be. read more

This is literally the worst latte I've ever had. The shots taste burnt. There are no flavor what's so ever when I asked for Carmel and white chocolate. My wife's was just as terrible. If anyone is looking for good coffee do not come here. read more

If there's one thing I miss about living in Eastern Oregon, it's Sorbenots. I'll make a stop whenever possible. The Blended Mixed Mochas are unmatched. My most recent visit was to the Baker location and I picked up a nonfat Bearded Dragon (vanilla ice rage, French vanilla, Irish cream and hazelnut). It was DELISH! Seriously, I've never been able to find another shop that comes even close to replicating these. I'd recommend to everyone! read more

It was about 15 to close and we were waiting in line until 7:29 and the girl who was serving customers had the one in front of us in line for over 10 minutes. When we got to the window she said she wasn't serving us although the customer in front had gotten everything they needed and still stalled the line. Such BS normally we support this business but it seemed condescending and petty due to lack of work ethic. We normally understand the last minute orders being upsetting but this transaction was considerably rude and wasted our time. If you're not taking orders passes 7:25 please let the baker people know. read more

Food is good but the service is so-so. They will forget to give you stuff you ordered sometimes. Today the drive thru was full so I parked and went up to the window to order 2 drinks and 2 frittadas. It took them 45 minutes to complete the order. Stick to the drive thru and check your order. read more

Fiancé and I stopped here on our way out of town. We were both pleasantly surprised with the portion size, options, service, and ease of access. I can tell this place will be serving customers for years to come. As per COVID, the lobby was inaccessible, but the drive through was open and wait times were minimal. Glad they are trying to be safe during these uncertain times. My fiancé really liked her coffee and it sure smelled good. read more

A jewel in Baker City. We are in Baker City as part of the Bike Rides Northwest weeklong bike tour. Today was a rest day and we were able to "explore Baker City. Nice coffee shop with comfortable seats to read. A window air conditioner provided plenty of relief from the heat. I had a Café Latte. - we'll prepared. Ok, so I have to admit that I have my regular favorite nationwide coffee shop, but I also love to find the smaller local coffee shops as well. Driving to Pendleton, OR, today, I checked my phone for a place to grab some espresso on my way through Baker City. This came up first on the list, and with all the good reviews, I opted to stop here and check it out. Glad I did, as my afternoon treat was a tasty one at that. First off, my husband is a coffee snob and finding great coffee on our travels is a challenge! In So. CA it's much easier. He prefers a pour over, French press, or trifecta. I typically look for places that roast their beans as we have the best luck. However, He had to settle for an Americana with no choice of bean. Not bad. Bathroom was clean, gals were nice. read more

So great! Highly recommend the banana split and mud slide mocha. Also, they have almond milk! Young lady behind register recommended getting half the syrup - it's perfect! Great pull up window but I walked in to explore the menu. Cute little place inside with great patio outside! The two girls working we're so nice too! Definitely stop here! We were on the freeway heading home. Both of us were getting sleepy it was time for some good coffee. Closest city uphead Baker City. I did a Google search "good coffee Bakers City" Sorbenots was the frist one listed. Park in the back walk around to the front. My companion wanted a mocha and for myself just a daily drip. Mocha no problem. But I'm told they do not have a daily drip coffee. The best they can offer is an americano; which is essentially an espresso and they will add hot water to it. So I went with it although its never the same as a good brewed cup of coffee. They had a vegan chocolate muffin and my friend got a cinnamon roll. I really enjoyed my muffin, but the coffee not so much. Come to find out Sorbenots doesn't have a daily drip coffee at any of their locations. I don't know but I find that depressing. The one main reason I go to any coffee shop is for a fresh cup of coffee. So that's the only reason for the 2 star ratting. If they had a good daily drip coffee I'm sure I would give them 4 or 5 stars. read more

Opens early. That gets a few stars in my book. Being a early riser I hate having to wait for places to open to get a coffee. This was was open and close to the inn I was staying at. The coffee was good. The small cafe was nice and folks were friendly. With a stop if you are looking for a quick cup to drink there or use the drive though and head on your way. read more

I hope management reads Yelp reviews. Nice shop. Nice staff. BUT they DO NOT know how to properly steam milk. At least go to YouTube for some instructions. Placing the stem pitcher under the wand and walking away is BAD or NO technique. So loud it sounded like someone skinning a live animal. We had to retreat tithe porch for silence. Inspite of it all my latte was pretty good. read more

Sorbenots is cleverly, perhaps too cleverly, disguised inside a small bungalow house on one of the main drags in town. You have to know what you're looking for when you start looking for this little gem. It seems to blend right in with its surroundings save for a painting on the building's side bearing the Sorbenots name in a colorful display and your run of the mill espresso banner on the front porch. As I am very partial to drive through windows, this was the method of choice to acquire my small latte. Service was quick and I was asked if I would like a bean or whipped cream. I indulged myself and asked for the bean, which was sucked clean of chocolate and then disposed of without actually eating the bean itself in one of my more odd habits. The latte was not bitter, which I have found to be annoyingly common outside of a few select chains or the oddball independent location. For this reason, I can say if I happen to be in need of a fast caff on the way in to work, Sorbenots is my first choice. read more

I've come to Baker City once a month for the last 7 years thanks to my National Guard service and this Sorbenots has been there by my side, helping me get through the weekend. I usually go through the drive thru (only recently going inside for the first time to order because I was in town without a car) and service is pretty quick. When cars are backed up someone will come out to get other orders started. I also love that they are open incredibly early in the mornings so I'm still able to get coffee when my day happens to start before that of a normal person's. Sorbenots will have my patronage as long as I have to keep traveling to Baker City. read more

Five stars for having lavender syrup in Baker City! Coffee was much better than the big chains. So much so that I repeatedly told my latte that I loved it and gave it hugs on a long solo road trip to Seattle. But maybe that was just the highway crazies taking hold. Also, the two young ladies who helped me were fast and friendly. If you're stopping in Baker for gas, do yourself a favor and make this one of your stops! read more

I love all sorbenots. They have the best coffee great service. I have tried coffees all over the state of Oregon in our travels and nothing compares to sorbenots. The one in Pendleton is a little hard to find but in LaGrande Baker and Ontario they're pretty easy to locate. Stone Brothers you rock. read more

I enjoyed going there on a daily basis and getting my favorite coffee of a 32 ounce. Gave a paper card and they stamped it so after buying so many you got a free one. Well now changes have been done you get a plastic credit card type thing so you never really get to see if they did stamp or give your card the credit it deserves. Not happy with this new change. It's caused me to go somewhere else now. A customer likes to always see what they're getting for their money and the old paper card allows you to see the incentive of how many you bought how many you're away from that free drink it was like a challenge read more

After a year and half here, finally tried Sorbenots. We were out for our morning walk and popped in for a cup. It was decent, nothing special. I usually do my cup at the Corral but seating was better at Sorbs. But the coffee is so much better at the Corral that its not worth it. Good, just not great. read more

The energy in this place is terrific. Went in with my brother and dog on the "tail" end of a long road trip. The woman working there was so genuine and kind, the coffee great, and the atmosphere inviting and comfortable. If they would bake or partner with a bakery they'd easily succeed with that, too. Awesome. read more

First off let me say a female manager was standing outside on her phone when we arrived. I went in to use restroom and pick up my mobile order. The entrance that is closest to the restrooms had a very dirty door with handprints and smudges all over the glass looking like it hadn't been cleaned for several days. Women's bathroom had no toilet paper in one stall and the trash bin was overflowing with feminine products..... apparently they do not take the trash out every day for it to be overflowing with very nasty trash on the floor in that stall. When I came out of the bathroom, that female manager who was previously outside was standing right outside the female bathroom, so I mentioned it needed some assistance. When I picked my food up at the counter the floor in the lobby looked like it hadn't been swept in recent days and the front door right there had very dirty glass with fingerprints and smudges all over it. I returned to my car and my family member who was with me was waiting for their curbside delivery. I noticed that female manager and two male employees were now standing outside at the end of the building, smoking cigarettes, and looking on their cell phones. We were there for approximately 25 minutes and that manager was outside that entire time all the while the food establishment was filthy. If they can't take the time to take the trash out and put toilet paper in a bathroom and wipe off the dirty doors I don't think I can trust them to keep the food prep area sanitary either. We will not ever be eating at that McDonald's again..

I didn't feel pushed to buy anything, or rushed to see the store or checkout. I kept going around and around and gathering items and dropping them back off to the checkout counter. A very chill employee helped me roughly the first hour I was there, and then Beverly, the shop owner assisted me the remaining 1 hour I spent there. This store exceeded my expectations tenfold. I would turn a corner and there would be more exotic things. The refrigerated alcohol section had this delicious meade or ale. Viking something, perhaps... An eclectic variety of specialty items all around! A unique store with tools and gadgets imported from other countries. You name it, kitchen-wise, and it's likely there! I think I saw a Shakshukka seasoning blend and thought that was wild! That's my signature dish and I've seen the sauce in a jar but not the jar of spices! Just a lovely feel to the store. Positive vibes for sure! At the end of my experience, I told Bella I wish I could ave found an Oregon related patch, perhaps even Baker City, so that I could iron on to a denim jacket I was working on at home! And she said she had one somewhere but couldn't find it. And asked me to leave behind my contact info in case she ever did. Well, 6 months later she contacted me and I was overjoyed to hear from her. She said she'd found the patch and needed my address for it to be sent out. This lady's kindness was next level. I must say, it is one of my top if not FAVE patch on my jacket. Thank you Bella and your wonderful staff, in patiently assisting me. If I ever pass through Baker City again, I'll be sure to stop by your store each and every time. You found a customer for life! :)

Friendly courteous staff and great coffee. Americano is my drink of choice. The decaf Sumatra if a great choice if decaf is your preference. In the summer, iced espresso shots, a bit of cream, and more ice- delightful, especially with a muffin or cranberry scone. read more

The cafe was charming and was bustling! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and cortado at the counter and picked up a few pastries to go: blueberry scone, bacon and egg brioche bun, and a maple bun. Our coffees were great! My vanilla latte wasn't too sweet and I liked the taste of the espresso beans they used. As for the pastries, my favorite was the scone while my husband liked the brioche bun. Our least favorite was the maple bun since it was a little too dense for us. We'll definitely be back!
