Is fresh drip coffee too much to ask for? That's all I asked for. What I got was a theatrical presentation with the equivalency of an FU to the audience. She spent a minute trying to squeeze out whatever was left at the bottom of the coffee pot. When I commented on it, she said "oh yeah, that's crazy, I should really change it out." Then she proceeded to steam my drip coffee. I asked her what is she was doing. She responded with a giant grin on her face "oh I'm just warming it up" Like wtf? Give that sh** to people in the drive-through window, at least they can't see how you're disrespecting them. read more

We go to the new Coffee Corals new white building location and feel disappointed each visit. Great food and coffee, but the service is bad. The people who serve are never smiling, rarely greet (just open window and look annoyed), and they move REALLY slow. I have never Yelped before, but Baker has limited options and with better service this place could be awesome. read more

Went here because of the reviews but our lattes had so little coffee in them we couldn't taste any, all milk and all sugar on the vanilla, not drinkable. The drive through had one other customer and they were super slow, at 7am, with many young people working there and not cheap either ... bummer read more

This was a pleasant little find on our way to Seattle. The interior and exterior was super cute with a farmhouse chic look. We had to work on our computers for a bit and there were several places to plug in as well as WiFi. Food was solid. The cowboy came with pickles and lays chips. The bbq tasted like pulled pork in sloppy joes sauce (I personally love sloppy joes so I found it delicious) The pickles were meh but I'm a picky pickle eater (say that ten times fast) The açaí bowl was super yummy and came in a cup. The size and quality was right for the 6.75 price point. Nothing fancy but had pleasant flavors. Nice service! They have a drive through and a personal parking lot. This is a cute coffee shop tucked in the Baker City, we stopped here to grab a cuppa before driving to Arizona and its one of the good decisions by far! The ladies here beautiful baristas who know how to blend coffees perfectly! The lady who owns this place was present while we ordered and was so friendly. Trying on local coffee joints is our favorite thing and coming here felt so good. The cafe is well lit and the interiors blended in so well with the plants and looks so good. read more

Aesthetic coffee shop with improvement opportunities. I wanted to love this place! Great looking coffee shop that was clean inside and out. There was a basic menu which often leads to a few things done well, but we didn't find this to be the case. The coffee was good, but nothing standout. We ordered a hazelnut latte and a regular black drip. For food, we were both disappointed. The sausage breakfast sandwich tasted like a microwaved freezer section one from Walmart. Not bad, just food. My wife's burrito was a few loosely stuffed ingredients we saw them microwave and roll in a tortilla. While we ate inside, we listened to the employees, one who seemed to be the owner, talk poorly out loud about a few customers who came through the drive-through. I get it, customers can be crappy, but by keeping it professional in front of other customers, you'll keep more coming back. read more

What a beautiful view from this little gem! I needed to get to hunt camp ahead of the day. So I got my teen here so he could get his homework completed before we had to drive another hour out to get to camp. I bought him a couple coffees while I had to run a couple errands right across the street. When I finished i came in and ordered my favorite blended dirty chai to give me a little buzz before the last half of our drive. This was the first coffee house I went to when I moved to Baker. It's probably the first coffee house everyone goes to when they hit Baker - the location is excellent. The Coffee Corral is a highly visible, rustic looking drive-up hut with a few seats out on a small porch. You can't miss it if you're even halfway looking. In the few times I visited before I switched to another provider, I ordered my standard lattes and Americanos. The roast they use has just a hint of a bitter aftertaste that I am not a huge fan of, although there are those that prefer that. They have a punch card that encourages repeat business, offer free whip and beans, and have friendly women at the window. Baked goods (local and store bought) can also be bought here if you arrive early enough for them to still be in stock. I drive by enough to know that business is strong and steady. If someone asked the location of a coffee shop, I'd be alright with directing them to the Corral. read more

And when the barista came to hand us our drinks, we politely asked for the whipped cream and chocolate on our drinks sense that is what we ordered and a cup holder. we had the window slammed and the barista was so rude, if we hadn't already paid and tipped we would have just left. they blamed it on them being busy when there was only one person inside. We read the reviews before walking in, so we were prepared and hopeful, but they are all pretty accurate. The building and ambiance were thoughtfully designed, and the restrooms and dining areas were clean. We waited in line behind two people and when it was our turn we stood there for a few minutes before being acknowledged. They were busy, but a simple "we will be right with you" would have improved the overall experience. There was no menu posted on the walls, and they had 1 small menu on a small clipboard that I needed my reading glasses to read because the font was so small. Our coffee orders came out in a reasonable amount of time, but they clearly forgot our breakfast burrito and sandwich. The quality of the food was true to previous reviews. The burrito was loosely wrapped and tasted good but over salted. The breakfast sandwich came out of a plastic bag and tasted as such. We are on a 3 day trip home to Seattle and this stop took 40 minutes, and that was with us taking the food to eat in the car while driving. Not acceptable for a drive-through/fast food coffee shop. There were several other customers waiting for food who had been forgotten too. There was a child working behind the counter to help with food, and I'm pretty sure that is against the law, and they had an abundance of flies. This establishment is promising and we wanted to love it, but they too many challenges for us to return. The coffee is good. read more

Typically I'm fairly skeptical when it comes to drive-thru coffee houses, but I must say, Coffee Corral has completely changed my perspective. My husband had visited Coffee Corral before me and had claimed he had one of the best Americanos he's ever had in his life....proceed w/ caution....he always uses this verbiage more than he realizes. However, when he took me by the Coffee Corral on another occasion, I ordered an Americano and have to say that it was tasty and pleasant, and with the added touch of a dollop of whip cream and an chocolate-covered espresso bean, well let's just say that it took the Americano to the next level. The beans they use are actually roasted on-site in their tiny little coffee hut, and that's impressive all in itself. We haven't had anything other than Americanos, but they have a large menu including smoothies and such. Also, the gals that tend to the customers are amazingly friendly and customer service-driven.
