    Hojicha Latte

I have been DYING to try Sorbo because of their hilarious insta and infamous talk of their matcha. The reviews have not lied. It really IS worth the hype. I've tried both their Hojicha latte and Matcha Espresso. Both were rich with flavor, the perfect amount of sweetness, and smooooth. The service seems nice from my short interactions with them at cash register. The interior is very upscale however both times I've been there it has been too busy and enclosed in my opinion to do homework. I won't hold that against them though because they are pretty Tampa famous and their drinks are fantastic! Every bit worth the hype.

Favorite Ube Matcha in the Tampa Bay area!! The service is great and fast paced. If you're looking for a new place to study, please be aware that this cafe stays very busy throughout the day and i'd recommend bringing headphones and getting there early to get a table. It is a small cafe and can get noisy. I've also tried their seasonal Matcha Banoffee and it was great as well (not pictured).

This cafe is KING if customizable iced matcha with flavors to die for. I have tried their strawberry matcha (always the favorite) but today I got a Sakura Creme Matcha and it was delightful. Because if wasn't as sweet as the strawberry one! I can't believe how busy it is here so recommend downloading the JOE app and order ahead.

This place is definitely popular, but luckily we timed our visit right before a big rush. Or maybe it was between rushes since they were out of most of their baked goods! We stuck to ordering just drinks then and tried the passionfruit hibiscus tea and Thai tea both of which were very good. Seating filled up quickly but we were able to grab a spot and hang out for a bit which was nice.

Was in the area today and decided to try this place as I've heard great things about it! I ordered both the ube latte and the strawberry matcha latte. I enjoyed the latte a little more as i wish the matcha had a little bit of a vanilla flavor which I'm sure I could ask for next time. But the strawberry flavor was phenomenal. When im in the area next time, I will definitely be back. Also ordered the cream croissant and please get it if you haven't already.

    Strawberry Mocha Matcha

Got their seasonal drink, the Strawberry Mocha Matcha. Love how strawberry forward it is; I notieced that they use fresh strawberries for the puree rather than syrup. The mocha is subtle and the matcha is earthy, making for a well-balanced drink that isn't too sweet when mixed altogether. Definitely is one of my favorite coffeeshops in general. They have kind staff and they make their drinks quickly without compromising the quality. I've even had a few of their desserts before such as the matcha cake, croissant, and ube parfait, which are great compliments to the drinks.

Sorbo has been a great addition to the Wesley Chapel area. It took me a while to start becoming a regular because at first I thought their coffee was too strong. But that is not something I should be complaining about. I really enjoy how they handle like their coffee beans. The service is great. They already remember us each time we come in. The caramel macchiato is one of my favorites. I really enjoy the ambience. They have a very moody in there.

Came in after seeing they had an espresso banoffee latte that looks so delicious and it tasted way better than I expected!! When I came in, I asked for it. It wasn't too busy in Line, but all the seating was full. I waited about seven minutes for the drink and I took it outside to try it. Not only is the drink very pretty, but the flavor is so good. The rich espresso mixed with this caramelized banana flavor is just too good.

The marvelous matcha macadamia cookie. Heavenly! August 2025

Coffee-tea-bakery-wine? Yes! And I hear they have beer, too. So I can stop here in the morning before shopping at the nearby Wiregrass mall-and stop by in the evening, when I'm done. I love bookend beverages! And I love Sorbo! Outside, it looks like so many places-with outdoor tables. Inside-it's totally different. It's dark and zen-and sort of swanky, even by day. There are low tables on one side-full of people working on laptops. There's a cute couch area on the other side, perfect for chatting with friends or taking Insta pics. And there's a high communal table in the middle, with a strip of rocks down the middle. The vibe is both chill and intoxicating. And I'm clearly not the only one who feels it. This place is busy and, I think, beloved. It seems like the clientele is very devoted. It's trendy and warm and different from all the cookie cutter places. So, I've set the scene, let's check out the menu. There are sooooo many tea and coffee drinks-a huge variety of tastes and combinations-and they're all so pretty. I had the signature strawberry matcha latte on one visit-and it's super refreshing-not too sweet-with lots of fresh, really delish strawberries. I didn't mix it-but I will next time-so each sip has a bit of each flavor. On my second visit, I had the matcha ube latte. Ohhh, it was pretty, too. I had it with oat milk and it paired perfectly with the flavors. I'd have this again, too. (And I'll choose to dine in... since it looks like they have gorgeous and fun glasses for in house use) Now, a moment please, for the baked goods. I had a pistachio croissant-that was delightful (flaky, light, delicate). But the star of this show is the matcha macadamia cookie-it's absolutely divine. It's warm and melty and rich and next level yum. I've never had a better cookie (save for Mom's and Grandma's). I could eat a whole pile of them. Thank goodness I don't live right around the corner. They don't have menu boards on the wall-but you can grab a laminated paper menu at the front counter. And be sure to check out the little chalkboard signs at the ordering spot. There are other suggestions, there. (Thanks for the tip, Karen V!) The staff is very helpful and patient and give great recommendations. If you're stuck, they can help. It does get busy-and crowded in the morning. That's the only reason this isn't a 5 star review. It gets a little squishy. But I like their buzzer system for pickup. Sorbo is right there on Bruce B Downs-near the Adventhealth Hospital. If you get off I-75 on 56, hang a left at Rooms to Go. It's in the same plaza as Dickey's bbq. It's a busy parking lot but there are extra spaces on the side. I'll see you there!

Sorbo has quickly become one of my favorite local coffee shops. The space itself is inviting on the darker side but still relaxed. It was very crowded on a Wednesday afternoon, but there were a couple small tables left . The staff are friendly and good at suggesting drinks since I wanted something on the lighter side . and you can tell they care about the quality of what they serve. We tried the strawberry matcha latte, and it was absolutely delightful. The matcha was smooth without any bitterness, and the fresh strawberry added sweetness and fruitiness . Definitely a drink that's as photogenic as it is delicious. I enjoyed the coconut water matcha Instead of the creaminess of milk, the coconut water made it light, hydrating, and super refreshing. It's a good boost of energy without a crash as I can't do coffees.

    Chai and Banoffee latte
    Amanda K.

Overall: 3.5 Sorbo is coffee and match shop in Wesley Chapel, Fl. It was always crowded when I passed by so I wanted to check it out. I ordered the Banoffee Latte iced and my Mom ordered an iced Chai. I liked the Banoffee latte! The only thing I would change is the sweetness level. It was way too sweet for my taste. I might try less caramel around the cup next time. My Mom enjoyed her Chai which came with cinnamon on top. She would order it again. Overall, we enjoyed the drinks we had and will go back. One tip would be to have a menu displayed for all to see. When you go up to order there are just small menus and you need to wait for one to become available if you do not know what you want. The seating is tight and tables are small. It is very hard to find seats unless you go at an off time of day or get to the shop early. There is outdoor seating too if it is not too hot out. If you have not checked out Sorbo give them a try.

So the matcha I did like to matcha around. , service was incredibly fast even thought I felt like they had a lot of orders but the space is very limited and they should add a loitering time limit of 1 hour or max 2 hours because you could see there was a lot of people that had been there for quite a while and no drink in sight definitely would stop me from coming back.

The matcha here is the best I've had in the Tampa area it always tastes soo good and comes out looking perfect! The staff is super nice and I love coming here!

My wife and I were looking forward to our 1st dining experience at Coopers Hawk for our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately both the food and service were extremely disappointing. My wife ordered the filet mignon: 8 oz. Filet, Steak Butter, Crispy Onion Strings, Grilled Broccoli, Choice of Side 46.99 and I ordered Ellie's chicken piccata Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Capellini Pasta 26.99 We both ordered glasses of wine with the meal - my wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the white wine they recommended to pair with the chicken piccata Neither wine came before our meal. When our meal was brought, there was still no wine yet. The server who brought our meals to the table asked if there was anything else we needed and I said-yes-the wine we ordered to come with our meal. 15 minutes later after after meals were brought--still no wine This is unacceptable at any restaurant-but for an establishment such as Coopers Hawk that centers everything around their wines this is ridiculous. When the wine was finally brought over 15 minutes later after our meals were brought they actually still forgot to bring my wife her wine and only brought mine. I told the server that it was too late and we did not need it anymore. The server clearly saw when she brought the wine that we were well finished with our meals already but did not offer any apology up-front and only after I said that "its too late" did she offer to take the wine off the bill. She did offer that she could still bring my wife's wine out and still take it off the bill and also offered to let me keep my wine and also take it off the bill but the damage had already been done at that point as it was over 15 minutes since we received our meals Now onto the food itself-very disappointing. Although my wife's steak was cooked perfectly as far as the inside of the steak-the steak itself had little to no seasoning and had no char on the outside. Outside of those 2 things - the quality of the meat itself was also disappointing. To give you an idea - the quality of the filet itself was less than the filet you would get at a Longhorn's steak restaurant which charges about 29.00 compared to $46.99 here - so you would expect at the very least it would at least be equal (or should be better) quality beef than Longhorns but unfortunately it was worse. The Chicken Picatta on the menu clearly says "Lemon Butter Caper Sauce" there were plenty of capers on the plate but outside of 2 lemons wedges on the plate for show there was absolutely no lemon flavor whatsoever in the dish. The chicken was cooked very well and was juicy but there was virtually no seasoning on the chicken at all and there was zero (0) lemon flavor. So again extremely disappointing. The restaurant is upscale and very nice looking and has a vibrant social atmosphere but when the service is bad, the wine doesn't come with the meal (and that is the theme of the restaurant-the wine), and the food is this disappointing it all adds up to a very bad experience which unfortunately also occurred on our special occasion-our wedding anniversary

I didn't go in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, was happy to get back in 2022...but the place had changed. There were very few beers on tap then, and the whole vibe was off in some hard-to-define way. It seemed dingier, dimmer, sadder. It even had a sort of weird, musty odor. I didn't return until I took a chance last week, right after Christmas--and the good Brass Tap back! The place was lively, well-lit, and while the tap list still isn't the monster from days gone by, it's nothing to sneeze at. (As far as I can tell, they have 30 taps; the Carrollwood location has 60, which is what I dimly remember at this location, too, last decade.) I don't know whether they had a management/ownership change in the interim, but it's a place I want to go back to again now. The Brass Tap doesn't serve food, and the BBQ place right next door that used to be run by the same folks shut down during the pandemic--but they have menus from Grillsmith, one of Wiregrass's other restaurants, there now. Unlike most beer-only bars, they've always had table service, and they've always been attentive. While it's a little too far for me to become a true "regular," it looks like a great place to go to with friends--or, if you're a misanthropic writer like me, to camp out with your laptop and have a couple beers while telling yourself you're working on a soon-to-be-bestselling novel.
