Came back here again recently. I was a little bummed they got rid of a lot from their menu and their drinks changed, but almost everything we ordered was still good! My friend and I just plot a few apps and had some drinks. The apps we ordered were the buffalo cauliflower bites, a Mediterranean beef on pita which was AMAZING! Poke bites, and crispy pork belly. We could not eat the pork belly, it was soo tough. The poke bits and Mediterranean beef over pita were the best in my opinion. The buffalo cauliflower bites had more of a smoky flavor than they use to. I love the crisp, but not the flavor.

Went with my in laws on a Thursday evening for dinner. There was no one at the hostess stand and the restaurant inside was empty so we sat at the bar. Bartender greeted us and she was very helpful. Ladies night Thursday means a $7 martini and she made a French Blonde I believe. It was very good. They didn't have beers on tap but luckily they had some cans and bottles for my father in law. We each ordered an entree, scallops, shrimp with pasta, and chicken. The chicken was massive and was brought home for leftovers. My mother in law said the scallops could have been seared more on the bottom half and the corn mixture was a bit too salty. My shrimp and pasta dish only came with 4 shrimp but was good. Overall a nice visit. Was very quiet. A bit more people started to show up as we were getting ready to leave so maybe it picks up after 7.

My friend and ai grabbed a quick brunch today at The Living Room. It's been on both of our lists to try in the area. Our server was very attentive and passed the vibe check (his name was Devin but I hope I'm spelling it correctly). Surprisingly the restaurant was not very busy. The soup of the day on this occasion was a cauliflower mushroom truffle. As a soup girly, it was definitely one of the best soups I've had. I don't know how the combination came about but it was delicious. My friend ordered the steak and eggs. Without shame, finishing almost the whole plate - she said it was all well made. I recommend this spot for anyone looking to grab a short or long brunch.

My meal it was ok, however, the steak was tough.

This one took me a while to write because I genuinely wanted to like this place. You know how some spots can swing between hit or miss depending on the night -- this was one of those. It was a Friday, our server was actually good, but the kitchen felt like it was moving in slow motion. At one point she even apologized because they ran out of clean glasses, which tells you the kind of night it was. The food looked better than it tasted -- and that's always a tough thing to swallow, pun fully intended. It wasn't terrible, just not worth the price tag, especially with the automatic 20% gratuity added on top. I walked in hoping this would be a new go‑to. Instead, it ended up being one of those "glad I tried it, probably won't rush back" experiences. The decorum in the aesthetics were cool. It does feel like you're sitting in kind of a old money style establishment.

Ambiance 5/5: great spot for a nicer date night and great happy hour. Decor is beautiful Service 5/5: our server was super accommodating! Gave great recommendations. Food 5/5: Order their 8 ounce steak frites and their chicken Katsu. I ordered the steak medium, and it was cooked a little bit more well than I would like however, the quality of the meat still made it tender. The chimichurri sauce gave a great contrast to the steak. The fries were perfectly done and well seasoned. The chicken Katsu was nice and crispy over well season veggies underneath. Highly recommend both.

We visited The Living Room on a Thursday night around 6pm and were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. We were seated right away with no wait at all. Our server was great... very attentive and checked on us several times without being overbearing. I ordered the steak and wow, it was top notch and absolutely delicious. My husband had the burger and loved it. Both meals came with fries, which were pretty decent as far as fries go. My biggest complaint is the drink situation. They didn't have any beers on draft and seemed to be out of a couple of the bottled options on their menu, which was disappointing. Aside from that, the atmosphere was cozy and festive. The Christmas decorations made it feel warm and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed, tasty dinner!

I had been to the other location and loved it, so I was excited to try this location when I was looking for a nice restaurant to bring my friend to celebrate her birthday. Inside the restaurant was beautiful, and our server was fine, if a bit busy. We ordered some gin cocktails called Cucumber Coasters, which were excellent, if a bit expensive at $17 a pop. Because it was a weekend, they were offering brunch items, so we decided to start with an order of beignets. These, like the drinks, took a surprising amount of time to come out. They were good, even though not up to NOLA standards. The powdered sugar was weirdly solid on some of the beignets, which I've never seen. I loved the blackberry sauce they were served with, though. For my entree I went with the Green Goddess Salad, described as house blend artisan lettuces, crumbled goat cheese, dried cranberry, candied walnut, avocado, shallot, baby heirloom tomato, served with green goddess dressing. Sounds good, right? WRONG! What I was served was a heaping pile of uncut greens, with maybe an ounce of all the other ingredients, all located conveniently UNDER the pile of lettuce. I actually had to put half the greens on a side plate, just so I could try to eat any ingredient other than greens. Thank goodness I paid an extra 6 dollars for tofu so there was actually something to eat in addition to greens - although someone needs to tell the chef that tofu absorbs the flavor of what it is cooked in, so if you add no seasoning, there is zero flavor. I was also a bit disappointed they did nothing to recognize my friend's birthday, even though I mentioned it when making reservations, and also to the server. If I go back, which is a big if, I will get anything other than an overpriced pile of greens.

    Brunch! Rosemary potatoes

I met a friend here at The Living Room for brunch at her recommendation. I see why she likes it, as it is a beautiful restaurant and part of Wiregrass. It was easy to find and easy to park even with the market going on and it being a Saturday. We each ordered a Mimosa flight with various juice flavors but I was a bit disappointed because they were definitely high on the juice and not as much on the prosecco. Also, the presentation left a lot to be desired glass and garnish wise. I ordered the Rosemary Potato Hash and there was a pile of grease in the dish. Otherwise, the food was tasty. The server was very friendly but I saw him goofing around with his colleagues near the kitchen when I was trying to get his attention to ask for something. I did not like the automatic service fee they charge on the bill. Watch out for that, mandatory 20% service fee is ridiculous.

This place was an unexpected great time! I was in town visiting my old high school stomping grounds and I was killing time until my best friend landed. Originally, I went to a different restaurant nearby, but after sitting and waiting for 10 minutes for my server to come over I left and stumbled upon The Living Room!! I'm so glad I did too. It's a really neat decor scheme they have going on inside. There's antique looking portraits hanging all over the place, but my favorite was the lap shade area hanging over the bar. It was so cute, kind of like a living room on steroids but in a fun way lol. My server was really great! I wish I remembered her name, but she was very informative, attentive and kind! I ordered the wagyu burger and fries and my my my, it was all so delicious. The burger was hot and juicy, the fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and my time here. Great spot!!!

Wonderful evening at The Living Room! It was my first time going and I only have great things to say. When you walk in the door the staff is very attentive and the inside is beautifully decorated with pictures, cozy lighting, and a gorgeous bar with a ton of cocktail options. The menu had a lot of gluten free options but please note their prices have gone up from the online prices by a few dollars each. For example, my salad was listed online at $15 and then it was $16.7 when checking the in person menu. Beware they do have a service charge of 20% which is absolutely fine because that is the normal tipping amount nowadays. They are a bit pricey on some items and my friends and I made a comment about how insane it was to be charging almost $40 for a charcuterie board. All in all it was a great experience and highly recommended the green goddess salad, just get it with the lemon poppyseed dressing because the flavor is a lot better than the dressing the salad comes with.

We used to come to this restaurant all the time and it was our favorite in Wesley Chapel. Today we went for lunch since it's my birthday and we wanted to have a nice lunch. Unfortunately lots of things have changed since the last time we came here. We were told by our friends that the quality went down but we wanted to see for ourselves. Ambience is beautiful like always, very modern and cozy. That didn't change. They used to have dragon fruit non alcoholic drink and they said they don't offer it anymore even though it was their most popular drink. Service still was friendly and attentive. He made me a nice cucumber mocktail which I enjoyed. However the menu doesn't have any virgin cocktails, you can just ask them to make what you envision. We ordered a cheese board, chicken wrap and beet salad with salmon. Cheese board was presented very unattractive, just pieces of cheese, some crackers, a little bit of honey and pieces of shredded apple. Cheese itself was good but the presentation wasn't good at all. It was like something you would do at home if someone shows up unexpectedly. Definitely not restaurant quality presentation. Chicken wrap wasn't good either, was very oily. And beet salad was a disaster. I used to order it a lot and it was always tasty, today it was soggy, large pieces of beets mixed with some type of sauce. Definitely a huge downgrade. Price was outrageous for a small lunch. Definitely overpriced, especially considering how bad the quality of the food was. The icing of the cake and what made me write this review was the fact that a hostess was eating her lunch at the entrance greeting table of the restaurant. Never have I ever seen a hostess eating her lunch where she greets the people. Honestly, do the price you pay this is unacceptable.

I have passed by this restaurant numerous times and decided to stop in for dinner. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and gives off a whimsical nice vibe. Would be a perfect date night or birthday dinner spot. The service was decent. It took a while for our server to greet us and we got our alcoholic beverage before our water which was a little disappointing. It was pretty hard to flag her down, but when we did, she was attentive. We ordered 2 appetizers that were phenomenal and both ordered steak for our entrees. The steak took a while to come out which was expected but was delicious. My only other complaint would have to be the automatic 20% service charge they have on all bills. I personally don't love that especially when you are unsure of the service. Overall it was ok. I think I would go back to give it another try especially because of how good the food was, but I am by no means saying that place is top-notch.

    Katrina M.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here! The service was spot on! The server was friendly and accommodating to our needs and concerns! The ambiance gives me traditional, old school, yet casual vibes! The mimosa flight was a hit at my table! There's so many options to choose from, and it was so hard to choose. I had the Cavitelli cacio pepe with shrimp. And you can't go wrong with that!! I def recommend them!

We kiddingly said parents could sit up here with alcohol in hand and cheer on their kids way below on the field. Seating: inside they have bar seating with about seven chairs. There is a single TV at the far left of the bar (see pic), so this is not ideal to watch sports on TV. No sound or closed caption. Outside it is just plain hot this time of year until the sun goes down. They have fans but for some reason they weren't on and the temp was 95. There were a couple people sitting outside but they didn't last long. Around sunset I'm sure this is the place to be. There are multiple sofas and areas to sit outside. Also a large Jenga stacking block game is available to play. There are at least two larger TVs outside. The parking lot indicates parking should be paid for. There are numerous signs with giant QR codes to do this. Since we were only there for an hour to grab a single drink we didn't pay for parking. When there are large tournaments going on at the neighboring sports complex I'm sure the hotel does a better job at patrolling who parks at the hotel and maybe then expects parking to be paid for. Drinks: happy hour is from 5p (when they open) to 7p. There is no happy hour menu (this would be a suggestion to make things easier on both the bartender and the customer). We were there at happy hour so took advantage of $8 white sangria and $8 cranberry with house vodka. They also give 10% off to locals. They normally have cards they provide for future use, but the bartender indicated they ran out and were on order. Food: There is a few food choices, including a smash burger and appetizers. They also had a couple cake slices on special. We didn't eat so can't speak to quality or time before ready. Service was average. There was only one bartender at 5:30p on a Wednesday with no sports going on at the complex. We got our drinks fairly quickly. They were tasty but served in small cocktail glasses and not much alcohol. For happy hour discounted pricing this is commonplace. I will be back to try it again, hopefully for a sunset this time!
