They wanted to cut down a tree that their tenant and I shared without my permission and without telling me. when I tried to call to let them know that I did not want the tree to be cut down, she got snippy with me. when I tried to explain that there were trees in her tenant's backyard that had fallen and broke the roof and side of the building of my garage, I didn't get a chance to explain because she hung up on me. I had to call code enforcement to talk to this unreasonable woman. the woman agreed to not cut down the tree but the next day, early in the morning, a team of tree cutters came to cut down the tree. I informed him what happened and he left. I felt bad for the guy, he was kind and considerate, unlike the woman working at Jaque and company. I guess they can have one star for being great for landlords in a way that they try their best to make as much money for the landlords and take from the tenents and neighbors of their tenents.

Tenant turnover used to be the worst for me... like seriously stressful. My old manager? meh... didn't really care, made me feel like I was losing money and it was all on me. Chambers kinda changed all that. Vacancies dont drag forever anymore, tenants actually pay on time, treat the place decent... sounds simple but after what I went thru before it felt amazing. Tenants seem way calmer too. Less drama, fewer complaints... stuff actually gets handled. Chambers takes care of the communication, maintenance, all that stuff without turning it into a headache. Tenants know who to call and stuff actually gets fixed lol. I also like that I'm not just left guessing anymore. New applicant? I know. Lease signed? I know. Something pops up? After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. I had originally contacted them for a certain property I saw online and was interested in calling home. They contacted me swiftly and even told me about the other properties they available. I have a friend in a different building that is going through similar situations with Deborah And now is going to court with Clearwater. So please if you ever consider renting from Clearwater management just know that they're slumlords. They actively raise your rent the maximum allowed every year. Upon moving out management went out of their way to not only take the whole security deposit, but find ways to overcharge for cleaning and fixes. Ultimately making me pay almost $900 extra. They charged huge amounts for changing light bulbs, and hour of maintenance to throw a few dishes away from a drawer, etc. Then when I diputed, they withdrew those charges but charged me 500 for chips to the old shower.
