I Went back a few years later figuring maybe their social skills and customer service improved, it was horrific again. I ended up buying all my new equipment from B&H online, no hassle. Went back for the first time today to look at the possibility of looking at their printing capabilities. At first, the older gentleman was very helpful assisting us with our question regarding pricing. We asked for a price sheet, unfortunately they didn't have one for clients or customers, just a sheet to show you over the counter. I asked, "may I take a picture of your pricing so I can have to review later?" He agreed, until his female co-worker overheard and took the sheet from him and rudely said, NO! They verbally tussled a bit in front of us and the lady got her way and did not allow for me to take a picture of the pricing of prints and sizes. She went on to say how expensive she is, repeating that several times rudely. She demeanor overall was combativeness and unhelpful. She made you not want to give her any business at all. This was typical of my previous experiences at Kaimuki Camera. Their lack of customer service, attitude, unfriendly disposition is off-putting to say the least. They do seem to have a decent printing operation, but I'm not willing to give this company my business based on this experience and all my other encounter with their staff. I would not recommend.

I show up the next day and all of a sudden they "sold the last one" and tried to get me to purchase the items separate with a more advanced lens that costs $400 more than what I was planning so they can make more money off me since I was wearing my military uniform. The man mentioned to me that starting in June they're gonna be adding tariffs which will drive prices up so they're holding onto their inventory, on purpose to make more money off people. Horrible business tactic to try and lie to customers to make extra money. I will not be shopping here and will never recommend anyone else to come here also.

I headed down there, followed the parking instructions, and took the elevator to the third floor. Service was quick and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. $14 to get my photos digitized and emailed to me. Took about one day. Recommend!

There is a sign on the the door, but not as bold. There is also one parking spot at the front, but I missed it and parked in Parking Garage right next door. I had to venture out and find it, but I did and sharing the tips. It may be best to book an appointment as you will not want to walk-in and have to wait to be serviced if someone else is ahead or with a scheduled appointment. Luckily, I was there first thing and was taken as a walk-in. There are plenty of frames to choose from, and the guy who helped me was very informative in letting me make the best decision in what I wanted, and would put his input in, only when asked. But! What won me over was my canvas painting that was peeling would have costed me close to $700, and I was willing to pay, and the company could have easily just took my money and said nothing, but the man gave me the measurements and told me to go get a regular frame and just enjoy the picture while I could, as even in the frame, it would continue to peel. In addition, she arranged to have it "restored". It's great, I just dropped it off, she arranged with the restorer to have it picked up, worked on, and returned to her studio. She then matted and framed it and called me to pick it up. A few months later I took in two more prints that needed work. Both were Japanese calligraphys. They also had foxing due to moisture and humidity here in Hawaii. Again she took care of it all. She called the restorer, he pick them up, worked on them, then took them back to her gallery. Noelani matted and framed them. I can't be happier. Noelani takes the time to explain all the alternatives regarding the matting as well as the glass and works with you to make sure you get what you want within your budget
