The statement conflated ADT's product-catalog decision with technical impossibility. The installation itself was also defective. The technician spent 8 hours at our home and installed a 7V/1A power adapter on a panel specified for 9VDC/2.5A, causing days of continuous reboot failures and requiring multiple service visits. To this day, the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge so we are constantly needing to silence the alert. The technician also damaged our doorbell circuit, requiring us to pay an electrician to solve the issues. Though we have only been with ADT for about 1 week, we are extremely disappointed and angry that they have misled us and have not properly installed the system. We have spent hours on hold waiting to resolve the issue. In addition, we were told that in order to add other users to our web access of ADT that we need to share passwords.
