I have take my standard poodle for grooming for the first time. I have sent many photos to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted. When I picked him up he looked NOTHING like we discussed prior to my visit. He actually said to me that his hand slipped and he messed up the top of his head, but still charged me $100.00. At first I didn't even realize the extent of what he did. When I had a chance to really look at my pup, I was outraged. They say that picture is worth a 1000 words and pictures below are pretty much self explanatory. On top of that, they cut his butt so close that it is red and irritated. I am putting an antibiotic ointment on it now. When I contacted them, instead of apologizing or asking me how he could make it right, he started sparring with me and insulting me, telling me that I am a horrible person. Why am I a horrible person? Because he butchered my dog? I did ask to at least refund my money, but he refused. I will dispute the charge with my bank. On top of everything, my pup was so thirsty, he drank the entire bowl of water when we got home. How do you not give water to a dog that is there for several hours?????? DO NOT TRUST YOUR FURRY BABIES TO THESE PEOPLE! It is NOT a reputable business, they do not stand behind their work and they do not care about you or your pets! Please, read other one star reviews and you will definitely see a pattern there. read more

SOS Grooming is so awesome!!! My daughter's dog "Soup" had absolutely horrific groomer anxiety, and would have painful diarrhea for 24 hours after coming back from the groomer. I think for her, it was too much like being back at Animal Foundation with all of the noise and the cages and the barking. We found SOS, and it has been the biggest gift to our family. Both of my grand-dogs (Twig and Soup!) are groomed there. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I have never seen more than 2-3 dogs there (EXCELLENT SCHEDULE POLICY TO PREVENT OVERBOOKING!) at a time, which keeps it nice and quiet and low anxiety. It is a privately owned grooming salon, owned by the sweetest married couple, you will ever hope to meet. I literally cannot say enough beautiful things about this place, I encourage anyone to try it. We have been so happy with them. read more

I've taken my dog here twice now and both times were great! I was recommended here by a friend who has been going there for awhile now. I book an appointment online a day or two before hand for a short hair bath then I get text and/or email reminders of the appointment. I drop my dog off and after about an hour I get another text saying he's ready to be picked up. The first time I brought him home, my mom was so surprised at how white his fur was! He has also never smelled so fresh and clean before After the second appointment, I asked a few questions like "How often should I be bringing him here?" and they said every few months so the bath doesn't dry out his skin. The price is very cheap for the service compared to other grooming places I have looked at. I will definitely be coming back here again :) read more

Not sure why some of the negative reviews... My experience was totally positive! I bought a groupon yesterday and took my Maltese dog "Sugar" to SOS Grooming today (made an appointment online), no issues, no waiting, they took us in right away. Like some of the other reviews mentioned, it's a small business owned and staffed by a couple who were super friendly, professional and very patient with "Sugar" because she doesn't like going to the groomer and gets very anxious as soon as she realizes she's walking into it but this couple immediately put her at ease and handled her anxiety really well. Very happy with the service, Sugar looked beautiful and smelled great! and to top it off their prices are extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend. read more

If you care about your dog please do not take them here. There is a much better groomer down the street to Dogs by Cindy. We have two doodles and they never get the same cut. Ever. They were always so scared when I took them there. He pretty much told us to not come back when we were making some requests for their next cut. Very scary place. This place was found thru Groupon. We noticed it then found out it is actually right down the street from us. We figured we'd give em' a shot with one of the pups. At first it's a bit off putting from the outside but the inside is cozy and the couple that own it are great. Very nice and actually seem to care. To be honest my Husky came back cleaner, fluffier, softer, and happier than pets mart has ever done. They even added a little tie on my little guy! I have taken my dog to a few places over the last few years and no matter what I'm never satisfied with the cut, style and or service. I saw a Groupon for this groomer and decided to give them a try even though they were 25 minutes from me. They were polite, thorough, professional and very friendly. I could tell that Lens loves what she does and also wants to make sure that I am happy too. She told me that it would take 1.5 to 2 hrs and I was shocked. In the past I was lucky if I could get my dog back within 4 hrs with other grooming places. I received a text shortly after 1 hr letting me know that my dog was finished. When I got there I was so pleased! The attention to detail in his cut was amazing! Everyone that saw me asked where I got him groomed and told them and let them know that the drive is worth it. I will only use SOS to groom my dog from now on! I'm not sure why there are negative comments on here. I will only take my dog to this groomer. read more

I took my husky for her second groom more than a week ago. She came home limping but I didn't think much of it at first. She's 9 so I just chopped it up to that. Then, a day or two later she was vomiting and had diarrhea. Now she's not eating and is urinating on herself. Not sure if she got sick or hurt at the groomers. SOS is not a fancy place, thus the reasonable price. Plus, I had a Groupon coupon. Lena and Dave, the owners, are a lovely young couple who really seem to like the animals in their care. It only took about an hour for the service. (The mall and other shopping areas are close enough to go kill time).
