Las Vegas Spaw is awesome!! They were able to get me a same day apt, I was quoted over the phone 150 because I have a husky but came in and since she was on the smaller side I was told 100. After she was done a ready it was 25 additional because of all the hair she had, she needed to be blown out twice. Definitely worth the money since she has a lot of hair. Wait was a little long, but expected since I was a same day apt, shive she's a husky she has a lot of hair. But I rather them take their time making sure she is nice and clean, then have someone rush and do a poor job. A lot of comments about wait times, think about it, they was your dog, air dry them, brush them, then maybe have to do it another time because of their coat, trim their nails, trim their hair, if you're dog isn't well behaved it's going to add more to the wait time. My family has been taking our cat Jaden here for around two years now. He's a very heavy cat, so it's hard for him to clean himself, especially the lower half of his body. Because of this, we decide to groom him every few months to avoid matting and smelliness. The groomers here treat Jaden very well! We once went to a place in Southern Highlands, back when I didn't know much about cat grooming, and they kept him the whole day, which made him super anxious. Here, he's usually only there for an hour or so. Longest he's ever been there was two hours. The cuts are pretty good, too! He always looks a little silly after because he's usually so fluffy, but there's never any bleeding at his paw nails or cuts on his body/face. I took him to the vet recently and they said the groomers did a really good job, especially since sedation wasn't used. Overall, I highly recommend bringing your cats here! read more

My Scottie Addie and my mother-in-law's Pomeranian Chloe get crazy excited every time I ask them if they want to go see Lilac, Jacki, the doggies and kitty cats at Las Vegas Spaw! Yesterday was their poochie parlor appointment and we all look forward to it. As far as making appointments, it is super convenient for me to be able to text, and I really appreciate that. When the girls are finished, I get a text that they are ready which is nice as well. They love it here. For example, Addie tends to bark or low growl toward people she doesn't know. Her first visit here none of that behavior and she was lounging next to one of Lilac's cats! There was another customer with their dog at the counter when we arrived yesterday and no barking, no growling...nothing but happiness. Jacki greeted and pet her and again, happiness and joy. These ladies are animal lovers and I wholeheartedly trust my babies with them hands down. As a matter of fact, every animal owner I interact with on walks, I tell them how much we are pleased with Las Vegas Spaw. I know it sounds crazy, but people comment on how beautiful my Scottie is and telling them about Las Vegas Spaw is the right thing to do. I actually saw a couple yesterday with two service dogs in Costco, a Yorkie and a Bernese mountain dog/poodle mix. I just had to share my beyond positive experiences with Las Vegas Spaw. Scheduled an appointment for my cat here and asked several questions before scheduling including their process for grooming cats, their experience in grooming cats, etc. They ensured me they have years of experience in cat grooming, they put the cats up in stirrups, and have 2 people per 1 cat when grooming, so I felt comfortable taking her here. Dropped her off for her appointment at 11 am and received a call 45 minutes later that she's in a "bad mood" and "hissing and lunging," so they can't groom her. She's 11 years old, docile, and has no claws (not my choice, don't judge). I've had her groomed at several other places with no problem. She may be uncomfortable with being groomed, but she's totally harmless. I understand she was probably uncomfortable without me present. I'm just unhappy they ensured me they could do it and then didn't. read more

Our usual cat groomer we get services from was booked out until June. We did our research on local cat grooming and found the reviews for this place. It was unprofessional and unorganized from the beginning. I was at work for the drop off but my spouse dropped off our cat. He called me back saying he didn't have a good feeling about this place. He said the atmosphere gave him a bad vibe. For the drop off they left our cat in his carrier behind the counter area. Then the employee walked away to continue working on the dog they were grooming. My spouse didn't leave and waiting to see if they would move him. After while, he asked if they were gonna move him from there. And they were like oh ya ya, sure. And grabbed the carrier and put him behind the wall area where they keep the animals. During drop off we have our cat in his harness to make it easier to carry him. This harness is sturdy and it has a handle on it's back where he could be carried like a briefcase basically. The service we requested, we were told, would take two hours to complete. A little over two hours after drop off we called to inquire about his status. They just said he wasn't ready and that they would call when he would be. 30 minutes after that call they called us back saying he was ready and they weren't able to get him out of the carrier or his harness and that he wasn't a happy kitty. So they didn't complete the service. Let me preface this, our cat is extremely easy for most cats. He doesn't hiss or try to attack. He goes to his vet visits flawlessly and constantly complimented how chill and well behaved he is getting poked and thermometers up his butt. He's been groomed before a few times and there were zero complaints. When we get there the owner stated that she tried to get him out of the carrier but he turned his body away because he didn't want to come out. So she wanted to give him more time to warm up. There is no need to reach in there to pick up up, just open his side carrier and tip the side a bit to have him slide out. Too easy. Then she stated he peed in his crate. He was sitting in his little carrier for 2.5 hours sitting in his own pee. How can any animal lover think that is not okay for the cat to be confined in his carrier for that long sitting in his own pee? And why is it when we called two hours after drop off to ask if he was ready that we weren't told that they haven't started yet and he didn't want to come out of his crate?! WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD AND KEPT INFORMED. Had we been told that they haven't started on him two hours later and he wasn't "happy", say less we will come and pick him up. This was horrible and I am crying that my poor baby had to experience that for over two hours today. I'm not an expert on cat grooming by any means but there are tools groomers should have if they are concerned for their safety such as using air muzzles on cats and simple common procedures on how to get the cat out of a carrier. I'm horrified. I also noticed while looking around waiting to be helped to pick up our cat, they do not keep cats or dogs separate. They are all sitting in their crates right next to each other. I do not recommend this place for cat grooming. It was all so unorganized and unprofessional. But, despite me clearly being upset and going off, the owner kept her calm. I'll give her that. read more
