I went in for a repair and also to break up some scar tissue that had developed. I wasn't charged for another procedure (good), but did have to pay the hospital fees for the operating room. Fast forward a year or so and I actually developed breast cancer (no fault of the doctor of course), but when my oncology surgeon went in to remove the implants and breast tissue, there was a large hole in my lung which caused serious complications and a collapsed lung. The hole was from when Dr. Rodriguez went in to remove scar tissue and repair the uniboob issue. I was told that the implant was covering the hole and it looked like it was placed there on purpose to cover his mistake. Please do your research and do not use this surgeon.

I originally went to Dr. Basner primarily for a breast reduction and lift. I have had a very large chest for as long as I can remember and have never felt comfortable with it. When I met him and got the code, I thought I may be able to find better doctor or better price. I was wrong. If I knew he was offering me the best price for the best service, I would not bother to waste my time to even look for other doctors. Nobody can beat his prices, and he still provides excellent service. He may not explain everything in detail in your fist office visit, you may not see him for second time before surgery, and his staff may not give you the break down prices like other doctors do, but still great service for the price. Every time I called, Kirsten was helpful, front staff were polite and all my questions were answered. Office visits after surgery were all excellent experience. Waiting time is short and staff are all professional. The results of my surgery were excellent. Doctor Rosenberg discovered that I have Endometriosis during my surgery, He got samples and send it to laboratory, and followed up with my Gynecologist. Although it was not a major problem, but he made sure to talk to my Gynecologist and discuss his observation.

I have horrible scarring that I was never informed was going to be a result of the surgery, and I'll never be able to look at my breasts the same way again. I was told very little about the process overall and now feel like I should have been given way more information than I was and had multiple consultations. I had my first appointment, spent maybe 10 minutes with the doctor, and they swiped my credit card for close to 10K with no problem at all. They didn't check up on me when I failed to miss my follow-up visits because of the pain I was in, and I never heard anything from them again. I was 19-20 years old when I got the procedure done, and it's been the single biggest regret of my life since then. Good luck with this facility that puts profits over people, and very clearly does not care about their patients.
