I started going to Dr. Rottman because he offered Groupon deals on Botox/fillers and has the least restrictions on use policies. Smart, I thought because that's the way to build customer loyalty. So, when I made the decision to have cosmetic surgery at 49, going to him was a no brainer. I got two other quotes, and his price was in the ballpark. One August 7th, 2018 I received Liposuction 360 to create the waistline I always wanted. I was always a size 10, but I never curved in. Even with diet and exercise, it was getting more difficult to maintain what I had as I aged. A friend of mine, who is no stranger to plastic surgery, also advised me to get the fat that was removed injected in my face. Then, I could say goodbye to fillers for a long time. So, I asked Dr. Rottman if he could honor that request for the same fee. Without hesitation, he said yes! On the day of the surgery, Dr. Rottman noticed a rather large scar and significant indentation on my hip that I had acquired through a childhood surgery. I forget that it is even there, as I have had it for 45 years. But, he saw it, asked about, and then he'd FIX it while I was under. (My hips are now even.) This is getting long and I want to sum up, but the back story, to me, was important to share, as it truly defines his character in addition to his surgical skills. Let's just say that I wish I would have done this a long time ago. Just under three weeks have passed since surgery , and my body looks the best it ever had, even in my 20s prior to my two kids. I love fashion, so I feel really good in everything I wear. And, I was told that I am still a bit puffy and will see EVEN MORE results in the next three weeks! Needless to say, this was a gamechanger for me. And my face, despite the 15 plus injections of fat that was applied, was a bit puffy, but not ridiculous- THINK -post dental surgery. And, I did not obtain one single bruise. I could literally go out in public 3 days later without too many questions asked. That being said, I slathered my face with oils and herbal remedies during my down time to ensure the prevention of swelling and bruising. After 4 children, I finally decided to find a plastic surgeon to have my diastasis recti repaired, excess skin removed and lipo to my back and love handles! I did my research and saw so much of his work, that I can hands down say Dr. Rottman was the BEST decision I ever made! I researched several doctors and had several consultations and Dr. Rottman was the best for me, he's board certified which a lot of these doctors out here are not, also seeing Dr. Miami commenting on his work along with other doctors let me know he was a big deal lastly most important he made me feel safe. He also educated me on the process and the history with his past surgeries, I told him my goal on how I wanted to look and It's only day 8 post op I'm still swollen but I'm seeing changes already. I was starting to feel my age so I found a groupon for botox , I called and made an appointment and when I left the office I had botox and fillers which immediately made me feel better and having people tell me I look refreshed was amazing. I would and have recommended The Good Dr to friends of mine on several ocassions and they were happy with their visits. I think it is important to understand if you buy a groupon for an initial visit, you can not expect major results from a one time thing , from my experience it does take several visits to figure out which products give you the results you want and realize its a commitment. During my consultation, Dr. Rottman decided that the best approach in targeting my upper and lower abdominal fat was through the belly button, which resulted in zero scarring. During the procedure, he also addressed areas around my waist, resulting in a absolutely stunning flat tummy and cinched waistline. I only missed two days of work (I do mostly office/desk work). In my particular case, the pain was tolerable and I only needed to rely on the prescribed medication at nighttime. I am so glad to have had this procedure done and my only regret is that I didn't have it done sooner! I had my procedure done 3 weeks ago. Tomorrow marks my 3-week date and I am definitely happy with the results so far. The biggest discomfort was the drains. Reading other people's reviews and I am not having too many problems with swelling. I stay compressed as I was told by Dr. Steven J Rottman. I use medical foam, a binder, and compression garment over it all. My waistline is so tiny! I massage the swelling every day with mineral oil too. It's not easy to constantly have it on, but the results make it worth it. Considering I'm still swelling some, it's only going to get better. I eat clean with very low sodium.
