I had a skin & nipple sparing right breast mastectomy with radiation and then reconstruction in June 2017 by another plastic surgeon. The results were very uneven with the right breast a C and was extremely, unnaturally high and firm while the left breast was a DD and more natural in appearance. I felt like a Picasso painting. He made the radiated breast a little larger and lifted and slightly reduced the left breast. My radiated breast now looks and feels like a normal breast! I am amazed and I believe when everything settles down and heals my breasts will look more like sisters rather than first cousins.
