She acknowledged right away that this shouldn't have happened. She acknowledged it was mistake. I told her I was very upset. She said she would get in touch with the owner to see about a refund for the Botox. There is no treatment for what happened to me. I just needed to wait out the time until the Botox wore off. After three weeks hearing nothing from MMS, I reached out to the owner and scheduled an appointment. From the moment Karen walked in, she seemed incredibly confrontational. I assured her that I had no intention of suing them and that I just thought I shouldn't be paying to have to walk around with a drooped eyebrow for the next few months. I said that they should refund me. Karen was very aggressive and tried to re-label what happened to me as a complication as opposed to a mistake. She then suggested, implicitly acknowledging that they bore responsibility, that my next treatment be for free. Obviously, I told her I had no intention of being treated again at Montecito med spa.
