I went with a group of three other women, and the initial check-in felt a bit disorganized and uncomfortable. The staff were very particular about who needed to go first, which was surprising since it didn't seem like an issue when we booked over the phone. During the massage, the therapist was kind, but she talked the entire time, which made it difficult to relax. As someone new to massages, I didn't feel comfortable asking for silence. I also felt like there wasn't enough focus on the areas I specifically mentioned--I was hoping for deeper pressure and more attention to those spots, but each area seemed to be worked on only briefly, and the pressure overall was quite light. I also felt a bit uncomfortable during the repositioning process. When I turned over, the therapist lifted the sheet and covered my chest in a way that didn't feel very discreet, and it didn't seem like much effort was made to maintain privacy. After the massage, I overheard one of the staff members in the lobby loudly ask the therapist, "Did any of them tip you yet?" which felt unprofessional. I paid $135 for the service and left a $10 tip, and when I handed it to her, she responded with "Just 10?" which made me feel awkward and uncomfortable. Overall, for a total of $145, the experience felt more like a light, rushed massage than a relaxing, professional service. I left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed with the value for the cost. I will say- the other two girls in our group had a better experience than me and the other girl did who had the same therapist.

She made some key adjustments that really aligned with my needs and also took time to explain some of the concerns I had. I would absolutely give her a full 5-star rating- way to go, Kelty! I explained that I believed I was dealing with hormonal acne, but the owner repeatedly assured me I was wrong. Instead, she diagnosed me with dermatitis and insisted that I was likely having an allergic reaction to my laundry detergent. She recommended an oil-based cleanser that she had formulated herself, which I personally believe made my skin significantly worse, and I also spent money replacing all of my laundry detergent based on her advice. Throughout the appointment, I felt unheard and dismissed. After my skin continued to worsen, I later saw a dermatologist, who confirmed my suspicion that I was, in fact, experiencing hormonal acne. What concerned me most, however, was that despite knowing I was pregnant, she encouraged me to take cod liver oil supplements, saying the high vitamin A content would be beneficial. I later learned that excessive preformed vitamin A during pregnancy can increase the risk of birth defects, and I was incredibly relieved that I chose not to follow that recommendation. I understand that everyone's experience may be different, but based on mine, I would encourage anyone--especially if you're pregnant--to be cautious and to discuss any skincare or supplement recommendations with your OB or healthcare provider before taking them.
