This was my 2nd time with Felicia and I can confirm she is amazing! There will be a 3rd, & 4th &... It's in her details! -- I try out new therapists booking 60 minutes & it felt like a full body (90 min) session. Pure magic! She was so thorough and balanced. Felicia's instincts about what my body/muscles need is incredible. She seems to really 'listen to" how my body responds. From the pressure to time spent in certain areas it was incredible & geared perfectly to me. While she asked these questions before we began I was very general and didn't really have many particulars just "kinda achy, want to feel better". The icing on the cake -- While it may not surprise you that she gives attention to various pressure points on your body and gives your head (brain!) the perfect amount of touch... She addresses areas like your ears (lobes AND inner cartilage), jaw, jowls, neck, & various other parts of your face that other therapists don't massage. Who knew that these hidden gems were so neglected and that once addressed stress and tension you didn't even know you were holding would melt right off?! It was truly amazing. This is where I filled out my paperwork. There also were a few snacks offered! Michelle was amazing from start to finish. I appreciate they ask before if you want quiet or conversation, so it's not awkward if you just want silence! Although I requested firmer pressure a few times, it felt like a basic massage vs deep tissue. The studio is in a clinic and is nice and there are reserved parking spaces out front. Scheduling was easy. I had to book another massage elsewhere as soon as I left so a waste of money and not a good experience for me but probably fine for a general massage.

Wanting to settle in and make the most of the day, I asked if I could purchase a drink--maybe a glass of wine or champagne--but was told I couldn't have any alcohol before my massage, and that no drinks were allowed. Odd, but I respected the policy. However, after the treatment, I was told I'd receive a complimentary glass of champagne--what I received was a literal sip, maybe an ounce at most. When I politely asked if that was the full serving, I was met with rude and condescending commentary that made me feel embarrassed for even asking. To be blunt: the front desk staff and support team were the biggest letdown. From the moment I arrived to when I left, they were either dismissive or cold, which does not align with the kind of experience expected at a spa with this reputation and price point. After trying many well-recommended, well-reviewed massage therapists - all of whom were solid - I found Darrell, who is hands down the best. We tend to do deep-tissue and trigger point work when I go but I've sent my wife and mother-in-law to him for more traditional Swedish massage and, per their experiences, he knocked that out of the park too. His hands-on work is truly great, but I also really like him as a person. He's a gentle, kind spirit and that vibe that he brings helps me relax and get a better massage. I don't have enough good things to say about Darrell. He's just the best!
