After being on the hunt for the perfect fiddle for years I finally found Allen with Sound and Fury Violins. Allen is a true master of the craft - a master violinist, a master violin maker, and just an overall awesome expert to meet and talk with. After a very long search it was truly refreshing to meet such a down to earth violinist in the Denver area. I called him, let him know where I was in my search, my price range and what I was looking for and we quickly found a time for me to come in and try out some different violins. When I arrived he had five violins and five bows layed spanning my price range, ready for me to play. He was very patient as I mulled over and played the different instruments - He gave his thoughts on each instrument and the chemistry I had with it, and even brought out a few more for me to play before I made my decision. As it was a very big decision for me I appreciated his patience as I settled on which violin and bow I ultimately liked best. He was even kind enough to switch out the tailpiece because I was being picky about that as well! I left totally satisfied with my new instrument and the price I paid, and happy I found such an friendly seller close to home. I will certainly be going back to S&F for all of my future violin needs as Allen felt like an instant friend. I'd recommend him to anyone near or far, whether you're looking for a high end violin or you're an entry level player looking for a jumping off place in the violin community. Thanks for everything!

So my 2nd review of Rupp's starts out pretty much the same as the first: "I went over to the Guitar…read moreCenter by my house..." to test drive some double bass pedals. I've had the same DW 5000 single chain drive double pedal for literally 30 years, and figured it was time for an upgrade. GC only had like 2 or 3 crappy single pedals out on their display area to try out, and the drum area was devoid of any staff - literally empty, and I couldn't flag anyone down to help me. Out the door I walked, predictably frustrated by the entire Guitar Center experience. Today was a new day, and Rupp's was the destination. I walked in shortly after opening, Alex greeted me, and we immediately got down to the business of talking the pros and cons of different kick pedals. Display models were taken off the shelf for me to try out, longboards were discussed, the ups & downs of Tama vs. DW, and then the ups & downs of the 5000 vs. 9000 series. No BS, no salesmanship, just straight up answering questions and making honest suggestions. "Oh, your kick BPM is stalled out? Are you still using the stock DW beaters? Those things are way too heavy to play fast... have you tried these variable weighted beaters?" Mind blown. After zoning in on an updated set of DW 5000s, he offered to set them up on the practice kit to get a feel for them on an actual kick drum. He set 'em up, walked out, and closed the door to give me ample time to get a feel for the action on my own time, at my own pace. Sold! ...and I wasn't planning on actually buying anything today, but the entire Rupp's experience made my mind up for me. I just got done working through some double kick exercises with my new pedal and beaters, and I feel like I've been in the dark ages playing with stone tools for the last few decades. My speed is up, immediately. My control is up, immediately. All said, I'm a very happy camper. Thanks to Alex for making me a Rupp's believer, yet again.

They are presently storing my piano. I am so grateful for this company. They are reliable, they have great movers and I have never had any problems or damage. Teresa who always answers the phone is so competent. The moving crews have been 100% careful and respectful. Both in packing up the piano for moving and unpacking it and setting it up, they have done an admirable job. All movers have been great, Afi stands out especially. If you need to move or store your piano, based on my 10 year history with them, I can recommend them 100%.

They pointed us to Keyboard Carriers. I scheduled it. They just came and picked it up. Killer job. 3 guys, knew exactly what they were doing, I was the 5th one they moved today. They are complete experts. I couldn't be happier with how the treated the piano, their knowledge of what they were doing and how they moved it and put it on the van. Their documentation of the piano condition too was great so we can make sure it come back in the same condition that they took it. They will have it for a couple weeks. Will repost when I get it back.
