Allison and Sarah could not have been more comforting and proactive. Over email, phone, and video call, they put my mind at ease and I felt so prepared the day of my wedding, no matter what restrictions were in place. Allison could not have done a better job the day of. She built a great rapport with my family, bridal party, and the venue's event manager to ensure the day ran smoothly. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special. We walked in to find our names printed on a little welcome card in the lobby, and the table set for what turned out to be a really cozy and fun lunch with Michele and Caitlin. We were offered wine, chatted as the food was served, heard a little bit about each dish as it came out, and were sent away with packed up leftovers to share with the rest of the office. That was what sealed the deal, honestly-- we left their office confident in their ability to produce an event that felt like we wanted it to feel, and since we already knew they could stay within our budget, we were sold. Leading up to the event, I couldn't have been happier. It was my first time being in charge of an entire event for my company, and Michele was always available to answer my questions, promptly and with good humor. She made recommendations, always with an eye to matching style with budget consciousness, and even up to the day before the party was proactive about checking in to make sure every detail was seen to. The party itself (held at the Charles River Museum of Industry in Waltham) went off without a hitch-- our Executive Director used the word "perfect" more than once-- and once the cocktail hour started I was even able to relax and enjoy myself, knowing we were in good hands.
