From the initial conference call with Sarah when we were comparing several caterers, their menu proposal perfectly captured the look and feel we wanted. Our wedding planning was plagued…read morewith constantly changing COVID regulations and I was full of anxiety about how our big day would go. Allison and Sarah could not have been more comforting and proactive. Over email, phone, and video call, they put my mind at ease and I felt so prepared the day of my wedding, no matter what restrictions were in place. Allison could not have done a better job the day of. She built a great rapport with my family, bridal party, and the venue's event manager to ensure the day ran smoothly. She knew the schedule and set up like the back of her hand. When the timing of certain day-of activities changed last minute, she made sure to let me know of the changes and the night went on without issue. If it were not for COVID and my anxieties around how it would affect our wedding I likely would not have looked for an outside coordinator- our venue did provide one that began to work closely with us (and Allison) in the month or so before the wedding and I truly believe she would have done a comparable job in the day-of execution. But it's the long term commitment to the planning process that makes Without a Hitch special. And while our venue did not host many weddings during COVID, Without a Hitch planned so many, and had the experience and suggestions that made the wedding feel as normal as it possibly could. We had a pretty fantastic wedding, and a lot of things went well, but by far the best decision I made was reaching out to Addie and having her with us on our big day. From the moment we reached out Addie was incredible thorough, sending over a timeline and spreadsheet which immediately won me over. Her meticulous planning continued over the course of the next couple of months, up until wedding day. Addie came to my condo to get ready with the bridesmaids and her assistant went with the boys. Addie is so, so easy to be around and does a perfect job of speaking up and getting people to do what they need to do, and blending into the background during important moments like the ceremony. Her personality is eternally positive and reinforcing and such a pleasure to be around during such an anxiety-provoking day. We were so satisfied before the pictures ever even came in-- and then they did. HOLY COW is all I can say. She is an absolute master of her art. She is the worst vendor I have ever met, she lies that she can do any kind of design. First conversation she would make is, ask for her competitors quote and says I can give you lower price than them. She never suggest any new design or make any effort to show on new designs all she wants is about her competitors picture and quote so pathetic. She has no creativity all she does is just copies her competitors and tell she does it for less. When I asked her lot of questions about her style design, and if she is confident on doing new designs she got lost and started saying you are fake, you are a cheap client, you have no budget and she started barging me with lies. She even said I'm accusing her and playing dirty games she said I know who you are. Oh god it was non stop just stay away from this lady. My parents looked at her texts and were very upset, they called her immediately, no one picked up and voicemail was full. I had to block her. She has lost her mind. Sometimes she's a little hard to get a hold of/to get to call you back, however she ALWAYS comes through in the clutch. She is a very busy lady, and has at least 1 wedding every weekend, but when it comes to the date of your event, you feel like you are the only one. I don't know what I would have done without this woman, I shudder at the thought. I can't thank Shobha enough for all of her help, her calm demeanor, and her keeping me sane.
