All I wanted was either an aux jack or a new radio with an aux jack after my cassette player broke (no, I'm not still listening to cassettes, I was using it with an adaptor to play music and podcasts from my iPhone). I asked Sound Master for a quote through Yelp, and a short while later I had a response from Antoine, the owner, about the aux jack, and a quote. I replied with a question, and we had a back-and-forth until I decided I would either get the jack or a new radio installed that Saturday. When I went in, I was still undecided, and Antoine did not try to up-sell me, but was willing to do whichever option I chose. He was friendly but professional. I asked his advice, and he pointed out the features the radio would add that I did not have with the factory radio in my car. Finally, I went with the new radio, and he installed it and set it up for me. He also showed me the highlights, and some instructions, and said that if I sold the car he would re-install the original radio for free. My entire transaction there was a pleasure -- more like having a friend who knows about these things, rather than a hot-shot souped-up car audio salesman. I completely recommend Sound Master to anyone wanting to replace or expand their car's audio system (or add GPS, and other capabilities). I'm very happy with my new radio. read more

The woofer was blown on a 2006 4Runner I recently bought. These guys were very familiar with Toyotas and their speaker issues. They recommended a rebuilt woofer instead of buying a new one to match up best with my JBL system and amp. I was in and out in an hour and they disassembled and reassembled the back quarter of the car, which was a fairly involved process, and fixed me up for a reasonable price. They went out of their way not to try to upsell me. I asked and they gave me a couple options to add Sirius radio and Nav. Not sure if I'll upgrade, but if I do I'll definitely have these guys do it. read more

Sound Master installed a premium system in my '15 Ford F-150 (new front speakers, amp, 10" sub under the backseat). I had the stock system, but didn't have to replace the head unit, so I was able to keep the costs a "little" lower. When it was all said and done...WOW! Granted, I will likely never turn the volume even 75% up (but I could and that's what's important). And I can finally "feel" the bass. Fantastic Service!! I had a 2010 Toyota Matrix with a faulty auxiliary port. It had broken soldering points, a common issue I found online. There was also a suggestion on the internet to bridge 2 points in order to keep the port from switching to CD or radio when it thinks the aux cable is unplugged. They were completely open to try it out and very friendly. Some technicians can be condescending, rude, or just try to sell me something since I am a 26 year old female, but these guys were so nice and willing to help. I had a great experience with Sound Master. I was looking to get an auxiliary jack installed in my car and had reached out to a few other companies before finding Sound Master. One recommended an FM modulator which was a no go, the other company didn't return my calls after I reached out twice. Sound Master was a completely different experience. My call was answered promptly and I was able to book an appointment within a few days of calling. The jack was installed and he was able to make the plug incorporate in the dash to where it looked like it was always there. Great company. read more
