I had a great experience with Complete Sound & Protection. Claude exercised patients and fixed the problem in the end. I had a double-din installed by a family member last year and months after I began to hear an intermittent high pitched sound from my speakers. Unfortunately, just like going to a doctor for something that pains you, the sound was no where to be found once I needed a diagnosis. The high pitched sound never came on while I was at the shop. Luckily, I had recorded it on several occasions, so I was able to provide those clips to Claude. I called them yesterday and we scheduled an installation appointment for today at 11 AM. Easy enough, I thought. I drive to the shop, park, and walk in the door. However, no one was there. I waited around, then walked around looking for staff, and asked the car wash employees. They were also asking each other "where is Claude?". He wasn't there. This is a long one. I apologize but I need to be heard. I just bought my car and wanted a little bit more bass (beat). I found these guys through google search, I called and the owner seemed very knowledgeable about systems-- He quoted me a price of 425.00 (all parts, labor, everything included). Great pricing right? So I set my appointment time for 1:30 pm and was there promptly. I waited around for about a good 45 mins (maybe more) for them to start work on my car. They started on my car at about 2:30. Fast forwarding to the end of installation, I had the bass that I wanted with one small problem that they could not seem to fix. My engine was revving through my speaker. It created this very loud and obnoxious noise when I started my car and when I pulled off. He explained to me that I was missing a part and that he would order it-- also told me that when the part makes it in that he would give me a call. He tried to make me pay for the part upfront which I didn't even have installed. Which brought my total out to about $528 and some change. I ended up telling him I would like to pay for services that were rendered. My total came down to $470.65- I paid $190 in cash, and $280.65 on my bank card. He sent me a receipt for the bank card transaction but didn't provide me a receipt for my cash payment, nor an itemized receipt explaining all the parts and pieces that he'd just installed on my car. I NEVER received a call. So after about a month or so of dealing with the noise I requested a refund through my bank for the $280.65 and they honored it. Since he uses PayPal it lets him know that someone has requested a refund. LOW AND BEHOLD I GET AN UNKOWN CALLER. I didn't answer because the number was unfamiliar, but I got a text message stating the following, "Anissa Townsend this is Claude from Complete Sound. I'm inquiring about a recent charge back to our account on service rendered. Please give us a call back or we will be required to file a theft of services warrant" At this point I'm like he can call about a refund but can't call me about a part HE KNEW I WAS MISSING AND KNEW THE SOUND THAT MY CAR WAS MAKING THROUGH THE AMP. I stated that I would be in for him to take the system out but instead I ended up getting the system uninstalled professionally by Sound Proof in douglasville. So it could be no hassle in getting the rest of my money back. So today, I go in at 11:00 am, literally waiting around until 1:30 pm for him to sit and talk with me about the issue. He fussed me out about "communication is key" (funny right because he didn't even call about my missing part) He didn't know that I had the system uninstalled, he had my missing part right on his desk too. Once he got the system out he was inquiring about how much I had paid to have it removed and stated that he would have done it for "free", I honestly didn't even want to sit around and wait for them uninstall it which is why I had it removed early on. HASSLE FREE. The part that really took me out was when he printed out my itemized receipt (that he'd just made up on the spot) it didn't even include pricing for the actual amp which was a kicker comp R. It included the output converter, 4 gauge amp kit and labor. Everything equaling out to the 280.65 that was charged on my card. Printed out the receipt stating that a full refund had been given on the card charge part. Even tried to say I owed him $22 and some change for labor. At this point labor is equaling out to be $212 and some change. Because he still had my $190 cash that he didn't give back and didn't want to give back. Best Buy has lower prices than him when it comes to installation fees, because as we speak Best Buy is charging me $119.00 for my system installation. Complete sound and protection fees for installing is 85 dollars per hour. Which he said he took 2.5 hours to do the install. That was a lie it was longer than that because I didn't leave them until about 6:00 and I'd gotten there at 1:30- due to the fact that they could not fix the problem. All in all, I'm super disappointed. No stars. I paid 470.65 for everything. read more

So long story short- my radio died. After listening to music on my iPhone for a few moths I finally caved in and started researching where to go get a new radio put in. Claude and his team got me in the next day and had a new radio with Apple play installed. I plan to go back to get an amp to give my sound a little boost. I have a Wrangler and they put the new radio panel in without leaving scratches, Debris or dirt in my car. Great experience! Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical because of the location. My uncle's (married in) cousin actually owns Knox and I take Donald Lee Hollow Rd. straight from my house to get to ATL when I don't feel like dealing with 20. It's a little rough area, case in point the day I came, literally minutes before I pulled into the parking lot a high speed chase ended with a motorcycle cop hitting the back of a car and getting pinned under a truck. 17 cops cars and two helicopters later when I left about 2 hours later they were still there. Regardless Claude and Derrick have a great space right off the road directly before the closed Giant Food store. I researched a lot of different places and at the end of the day it call came down to reviews and prices. I have to say that their reviews are spot on and while you do have to call for prices I found it to be very affordable. I have a Ford C-Max. Not really a large car, but compared to other places it cost me a whole lot less to get it cleaned inside and out then other places. This was the first time that I have had my car cleaned since I bought it back in May of '19 and I have done some serious driving. Derrick got it back to a very presentable condition; definitely need to bring it up there again for a more in-depth cleaning, but after 2 hours it was time to go, lol. I found the guys at Complete Sounds of Protection when I pulled up yelp and called over ten different audio installation companies to get quotes on installing speakers, a head unit, sub and amp in my Mitsubishi eclipse. I liked these guys right off the bat because they picked up the phone right away and explained to me that they have been in business over 16 years and do competition level work but actually offered me the best price out of everyone I shopped. When I showed up for an estimate and met Claude the owner. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Aware that I wanted to stick to a budget, he was able to work with me and gave me a great deal on equipment and labor that no one else was willing to match because they have a seasoned wholesale distribution network on equipment. What really impressed me about their business was that I needed some additional work done on my car and they were able to subcontract everything out at a far better price than any of their competitors who I conferred with. Another job I needed was window tint which they completed and looked great. I was also about to get a new paint job but they had a gentleman there that offered to fix all the scratches, buff and wax the whole paint job, and clean the whole interior for a fraction of the costs that I was looking at to repaint. When he was done I was so glad I didn't waste my money on new paint because my car looked brand new. I also threw in a request for a new shift knob on the stick shift and they got one and installed it for no extra charge on labor since I was getting the other work done. As for the audio installation I told Claude I wanted clean power with no rattles or whistles and a seamlessly integrated system with a dynamic range from high to low and they delivered with the perfect balance, power, and equalization that I was hoping for. I admit, one time I missed my appointment but I called to reschedule and they never called me back.
