It was completely free. A very needed service for preschoolers with disabilities!!! Lows: you're not allowed to observe. There was no documentation on the kids days. His IEP was never formally gone through with me. Less then 24 hrs notice for things like, bring a pink treat day or send in donations for making gingerbread houses. His speech therapist mishandled his IEP several times. On the day we withdrew him I brought in thank you cards for the teachers and was told his speech therapist no longer works there. No one thought to tell me. Crazy mismanaged school. But good heart. If you have a preschool kiddo getting an IEP know that you also have an option to get funding straight from the state via ESA's. You can use that on therapies for them. I hate hate hate redirecting funds from public school but I have to do what's best for my 4 year old who wasn't getting the care he was entitled to.

ALL of the staff take the time to learn all of the kids that attend the school. The school has sooo many different fun days like pink day Green Day blue day it's just amazing how much they put toward education; and making it fun! My kid always comes home happy and saying he had fun! If your child is having a not so well day they still take the time to give your child that extra time to feel better or behave. The school is very secure and safe you need a passcode to enter the front gates during school hours! During the morning and dismissals there are numerous staff members standing outside so all eyes are on your children. There's been times where I was standing outside the gate and my kid ran out the gate to hug me and as soon as he got to the gate exit they grabbed him so fast then realized I was standing there BUT I AM SO GRATEFUL to know that they are watching the kids every move and they are so quick! YOU ACTUALLY SEE WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR MONTHLY! We went to numerous schools visiting but when we got here I KNEW THIS WAS IT!! I'm soo sad they only do pre school because I would love my kid to go here forever :)!

If I could leave zero stars I would due to My son had one of the worst experiences at this school…read more He went through a serious health concern after an incident that happened on campus, and the school failed to take proper action or provide the care and attention the situation deserved. As a parent, it was heartbreaking to see that no real concern or responsibility was taken. Due to the incident, I had to take my son to have a tooth removed. I expected the school to handle the matter seriously and ensure student safety, but unfortunately nothing meaningful was done. I hope no other child or parent has to go through this experience. My son's graduation was a complete mess and extremely disappointing. Every student's name was called and recognized except for my son, even though he was graduating as well. Watching him be completely overlooked during such an important moment was heartbreaking as a parent. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability and professionalism afterward. There was no face-to-face apology or genuine effort made to correct the situation. A graduation should be a proud and memorable day for every child, and unfortunately this experience was the exact opposite for my son and our family. And for this reason, I will not send my son back. A few months ago, one of my sons was physically assaulted when another student choked him. The incident was dismissed by the school as a minor issue, despite the seriousness of the act. More recently, my two sons and one of their friends were verbally threatened by three other students. I immediately reported this to the principal, office staff, and district administration. Although the threatened fight never occurred, the response from the school has been inconsistent and inadequate. The principal initially stated that students would rotate days for playing soccer during recess but later reduced my sons' access to only two days per week, without explanation. After I raised concerns about the choking incident and the threats, I believe the principal began retaliating against my children. During a school bingo event, my son and his friend each had valid bingos that were confirmed by surrounding students, yet the principal publicly denied them multiple times. The school promotes itself as a "no violence" campus, but ongoing issues are not being properly acknowledged or addressed. I contacted the Board of Education and requested that the vice principal handle all future matters involving my children due to concerns of targeting and retaliation.

When he first started he hardly spoke any English (since we spoke our Indian language) at home. The transition was smooth and he was able to form small sentences in couple months. The school has good blending of academics and play time, which is very appropriate for the age group. I would highly recommend the school

Both of my children attended school at Awakening Seed School. The Seed helped them learn how to engage with others from a variety of backgrounds, believe in themselves, and be actively involved in our community. Both my husband and I feel very fortunate to have found Awakening Seed for our kids. It is truly a special place.
