Cheese Grits With 2 scrambled eggs and fried shrimp

I am so glad we tried Soupa Plates over 3 years ago when they were in Gotha. We followed them to Ocoee when he had to move locations. Carl makes the BEST Grits in town. We have tried many other locations and Soupa Plates is by far the very best. Not only grits, but their entire menu is amazing! From Breakfast to Lunch/Dinner all with a Southern and BBQ flare! You can call ahead (like I do when my husband is out running errands) and Carl is always happy to take our order and give us a pick up time when he will have it ready. It may take a little longer wait time, but trust us when we say it is worth the wait and Carl is always so nice and pleasant to everyone he meets. Give Soupa Plates a try, you wont regret it, I swear! https://www.soupaplates.com Located in: Ocoee Food Mart Address: 700 S Bluford Ave, Ocoee, FL 34761

Rib Plate with Mac and Collards. Highly recommend and could even split with two people. Awesome staff, area was clean, and the food was great. What more can you ask for. All employees had gloves on while handling the food there was a window that was used to exchange the food and payment. I will be back but next time going for the breakfast.

What a gem! Came across Soupa Plates when I was going on my walk. I've now visited twice and on my next visit I am getting the fish (grouper) and chips because my friend and I sampled it and it was AMAZING! Both of my last visits I ordered the chicken plate with ALL THE SIDES--baked beans, collard greens, and very cheesy mac n cheese (delicious!). Food is cooked to order, and once they're out, you're out of luck! I love that their customer service is a reflection of the type of people they are at the core. I will definitely be back and I recommend you trying these good eats for yourself!

Little Spoon is hidden inside Conrad Orlando at Evermore, on top of Sophia's Trattoria. And also how we heard about Little Spoon. We just finished brunch at Sophia's and wanted a bakery/coffee spot for fancy coffee or desserts. You'll find Little Spoon on your right if you were entering from the front main entrance, it's towards the convention space and next to the Conrad Office. Let me just start by saying I'm completely OBSESSED with this space and design. The gorgeous EVERYTHING from the space, vibe, displays and pastries. Lovely set up all in all. Even the refrigerators displaying the beverages are beautiful. My son immediately found the candy section. They also had snacks, beverages, pastries, coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and gelato. The pastries blew me away. Like Michelin star presentation level pastries. They also had many mini wine bottles and mini liquor bottles, not travel size but half sized liquor bottles. The good stuff too. No cheap brands here. You can tell quality is their game! They also have a few seating options with tables and chairs behind Little Spoon overlooking the view in the back of the hotel. There are also two benches located by the front underneath the Little Spoon sign. Another thing I noticed is the super cute logo and excellent choice of fonts that really gave this place even more personality. Yes, I'm a font geek! Lol. We were debating driving to the other side of town to Light on the Sugar or Tous Les Jours which are two of my favorite bakeries in Orlando and I try to hit those up when I can. So we ended up only getting two passion fruit macarons which my daughters love. I saw a sign for Pistachio Cake and would have loved to try that but they were sold out. Of course. Service is wonderful here. There was a very nice gentleman who helped us and he was very attentive too. I didn't catch his name but he had a pleasant demeanor. You may see him in my photos. When we paid for our macarons, he also made sure to inform me that there is an automatic gratuity already included in our total. Wow. You don't get many places that give you a heads up on this. I feel many places take advantage of the automatic gratuity and use it as a chance to get extra if you didn't know it was already included or didn't read the small print. Just checked my receipt and I think the gentleman helping us was Pedro. Thanks for the stellar service Pedro! Little Spoon is amazing and now I wish we tried the coffee and got a fancier pastry item. Next time we're in the area, we'll have to stop by here again and really splurge!

The Frying Dutchman is located inside Universal Studios Park at the Springfield USA area pavilion. One building houses several fast food joints including Cletus' Chicken Shack, Flaming Moe's, Krusty Burger, Lisa's Teahouse of Horror, and Luigi's Pizza. Considering you're in a theme park, this should be the type of eats one would expect. Catering more to the kids, tweens, and teens, I decided on Chicken Waffle Burger. Also on the menu (from other restaurants) was fish & chips, a turkey leg, and a tuna salad. The decor is like a 50's style diner right in line with the Simpson's theme. There are dining area attendants to keep the area clean and to prevent people from hogging tables while others in their party is lining up for food. Once you have your meal, they will seat you, once you leave, they clean up after you. No tip is required, but I'm sure it would be appreciated. This is actually a great system and definitely increases efficiency in steadily turning over the limited amount of tables they have. Chicken & Waffles (12 bucks). From Cletus' Chicken Shack, this came with a side of Tater Tots. I'm a sucker for tater tots and these are right on par! The waffles looked like they were mass produced, but they were made fresh. With only a leaf lettuce to accompany it, there was not much to the sandwich at all. Mayo and other condiments were self serve. The chicken was made with breast meat and not processed (thank goodness!). It wasn't dry, but it also wasn't exactly juicy either. Then again, Cletus' never claimed to be Chick-fil-A. 2 stars. The Tuna Salad (9 bucks). This was prepackaged and self served from Lisa's Teahouse. It was a Mediterranean style salad which consisted of romaine lettuce, julienne bell peppers, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese, tuna, and dressing. The greens were fresh, so turnover was definitely high. Your typical tuna salad with feta and olives, it was a-ok. 3 stars. The Fish (14 bucks) came with the same tater tots (no complain here). and was ordered from the Frying Dutchman. The fish was cod and the pieces were small. The batter was laid on a little thick, but cooked well none the less. It was much greasier than it should be, which is an indication of how busy they were (constantly cooking drops the temp of the oil. If not hot enough the batter will absorb it). If eaten at a different time, this dish may have been better. 2 stars. The Turkey Leg (15 bucks). This was actually purchased from vendor stall outside of this building. It's a huge turkey leg on the bone. Similar to what you get at ball games, but more on the dryer side. It was extremely salty (probably due to curing), but had plenty of meat. It came with a small bag of potato chips of your choice. 4 stars. Overall, it's really average food all around, but with inflated prices. Nothing was worth what you paid, but then again, you're at Universal Studios, so it's not surprising at all. 2,5 stars rounded up to 3 stars. If you would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!

I got the fish and chips with shrimp combo and it was just alright. 2.1/5 stars for me This place was a little hard to find because its a food hall behind Moe's Tavern (go through the tavern itself). I got confused and walked past it originally before circling back and walking through the bar area to the food hall in the back. I got my order after mobile ordering and waiting around 15ish minutes. The shrimps were kind of hard and not enjoyable to eat but the cod was more palatable. The fish and chips themselves were just okay but I thoroughly enjoyed the tarter sauce. Overall the fish was not bad but the shrimp ruined the meal for me. For $18.99, this gets a 2.1/5 stars for me.
