Gallos is a great. They have a great atmosphere and very a friendly staff. You can place orders online, at the counter, drive through or on their kiosk in the lobby. They have a lot of lunch/dinner options. I ordered the 1/4 chicken with rice and beans and maduros (fried yellow plantain) . The rotisserie chicken was amazing. The rice and beans were very tasty and the maduros were wonderful. The portions are very generous and their prices are very reasonable. read more

This is a great place to dine at if you want a filling meal. The flavors are great in these dishes. We got the tostones to start with, and they were fresh, very hot. But delicious. We get the cilantro sauce to dip with for them. I got the steak bowl. It has rice, beans, and steak. The steak was pan fried and really good flavor. I got chimichurri sauce to put on top. They have really delicious chimichurri sauce here. My husband got the chicken platter. The plantains were sweet, crispy, and soft. The chicken has great seasoning on it. He added the cilantro sauce on top. Couples really well with the chicken. Overall, we enjoy this place! Glad to have them just a few minutes away from where we live! read more

Delicious lomo saltado even arriving via Uber Eats from Apopka to Downtown Orlando! Was craving this dish and so tired from work, didn't want to drive anywhere to pick it up. They had this dish on BOGO on Uber Eats so I felt like it was a sign. It arrived early and still pretty warm so I was happy about that but even happier when I tasted it! The steak was super tender and swimming in lots of that tasty sauce which wasn't too salty. I got mine with rice and black beans which I didn't take a picture of because everyone knows what that looks like lol. Both of the sides were fine. Nothing out of the ordinary. I would totally get this again when craving lomo saltado and if I'm ever in the area of Apopka I will definitely go! If not, I'll be happy to order via Uber Eats again, especially if it's still a BOGO. read more

I was absolutely starving. So myself and my partner decided to just head to any restaurant just to grab some food. I decided to get the rice, black beans and quarter chicken and it was delicious. Marinated and seasoned to perfection along with the three sauces that they gave me to try out. Only two of them which was the white sauce and the green sauce as well, and it was delicious. I'm sure I can get the same meal at many different places so I wouldn't necessarily come back. But I must say for what they did have here. It was really really delicious. read more

The chicken is moist and flavorful. I requested garlic cilantro and garlic sauce to enjoy with my chicken great adds. Can you say YUM! The plantains are perfect. Other places they are mushy, Gallos they are sweet but retain a small bite. The have some really good seasoning, don't taste like they're canned like other like places. The best part of the experience of dining here is the service. THEY CARE. Though you order at the counter they come by your table and check on you. Gallo's does it right. The owners treat the customers really well! I wish I had asked the girl who came and checked on us what her name was because her customer service was really great. She came to the table and asked if we'd like some hot tortillas to go with the pork. Brought them over as a courtesy. She seemed genuinely happy. When I see people like that I can only imagine that they have great management, as it kind of trickles down. I've never been disappointed with the chicken or pork, and we've ordered from them about 5 times so far. The only thing I would absolutely love is if they offered lentils or brown rice for people who can't eat white rice as a starch. They do have steamed veggies as a side (which I ordered today to replace my white rice) and that was a great choice. The pizza place unfortunately didn't make it in this spot, but I sincerely hope Gallo does read more

I love this place. The food is soooo good. Tbh, I only get the half chicken dish with rice and beans, but the rice is garlic rice (amazing!) and the chicken is so full of flavor. The spicy garlic sauce takes the meal to another level dimension. In addition, the people are friendly and the service is quick. Awesome addition to the wekiva Apopka neighborhood at the location of the NYPD Pizza. A family owned restaurant chain of six locations with this being the first in central Florida. Excellent service and better food. Had healthy portions with the chicken and pork dinners with sides. Corn bread and flan. First class all the way, clean, friendly and amazing. The chicken was absolutely delicious -- moist, tender, and falling off the bone. The rice and beans were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. There were plenty of choices on the menu, and the prices were very reasonable. The dining area was clean and well-kept, which added to the overall positive experience.
