C&S persevered and after fixing and replacing faulty duct work the problem with the air flow was solved but the thud continued. I contacted Phil who sent Cole to track down the mysterious thud. He found it , and corrected it within a few minutes . Everyone I worked with at C&S was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . Cole is an excellent technician . I went to go buy portable heaters from Lowe's which brought a little comfort. I saw this company "Optimum Air" a few times on my search and there were quite a few reviews. I'm normally drawn by the comments and reviews and I decided to give them a try. I called made an appointment and everything was professional. I even received a text confirming my appointment that day and later that day I received another text showing, "Michael from Optimum Air Co. its on the way." And it came with a link to track their arrival along with a photo of the person. This was really professional and loved the promptness. The tracker showed that his ETA is 2:03, which is right on time, and he came, right on time. I must say, Mike is very friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. The issue I was having was no power to the unit, and before then, the fan didn't turn off at all. He fixed both. He wired something, and showed before of the issue and showed me actually what he was doing. I was so pleased by the professionalism, that I requested a quote to replace my entire furnace and a/c, because I knew that eventually it will need to be replaced. I highly recommend them and I definitely trust their service. They weren't trying to be pushy and sell me anything or sell me a new unit. Today, I had a noise in the A/C drain going into my bathroom sink, a popping noise that was very irritating. Manuel came by and figured out the problem in less than 5 minutes. Installing a p trap on the evaporator unit solved the problem. Entire time on site was less than an hour. Will definitely continue to use their services as I need them.

We asked for a quote, and he said he would get the straight over. The office temperature is over 80F, and it's been two weeks and still no quote from this company, I have called over 4 times and just get told they are working on it. I explain to the lady the current temps in the office and that we needed the AC fixing asap. her response was they have been very busy. she refused to give me the contact number for the owner of the person handling the quote. very poor customer service. If they can't even get a quote over, can you imagine actually trying to get them to fix your AC.

Just had a great summertime AC service from Texas Air Authorities. Clint, the dispatcher called to…read morelet me know David and Daniel were on their way to my home in Grand Prairie, Texas. They showed up on time, asked us a few questions about what we needed out of our service call, set up and started a 30 minute air quality tester and then got right to work on the AC system. David went up into the attic to work on the upstairs units while Daniel worked on the outdoor units. After a thorough check, David found everything in the attic was fine. Daniel found some loose connectors on the exterior units. They tightened up those connectors and both Daniel and David spent a little extra diagnostic time outside making sure that tightening those valves was the solution and that there were no further leaks. The review of the air quality test showed a lot of chemical content. We finally figured out that it was the new leather furniture (apparently leeching the chemicals that the leather was treated with at the factory). All is well, now. The exterior units (Compressors?) needed some freon. They are running very well now. Ya can't live in Texas without AC! We settled the bill via credit card at the end of the service call. The bill invoice and a future project estimate were immediately e-mailed to me for my review. I really like doing business with them! They will be e-mailing me more information about a maintenance agreement soon. I inquired about Texas Air Authorities' company history. David told me they are a 17 year old company in Alvarado, Texas (about 40 miles southwest of Grand Prairie) that is in the process of finding real estate in the Arlington area for them to expand their presence into the DFW market. They service Dallas, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Arlington, Duncanville, and of course Grand Prairie, among others in the area. I highly recommend Texas Air Authorities!
