The best experience was to receive Facial Rejuvenation from Dr. Simone Ressner. She did microneedling on my face, infrared lamp, massaged my face with serums, also addressed my overall health with acupuncture. I was told that for better results I needed multiple sessions though I could see the difference right away! My skin looked smoother and younger. I don't recommend going on a date after you receive the microneedling treatment as you may feel tenderness and some redness may come up. I'd heard about this community acupuncture on Cass about a month ago. Finally, after waking up with a sore neck for the past several weeks I decided to check it out. I was impressed! $30 per visit, or there are packages that offer discounts. The staff was friendly and explained the process clearly. After completing the paper work, I was taken to the treatment room where there were heated chairs (yes treatment is done on a chair). The lighting, music, temperature, and environment were perfect and clean. No funky smells or dumpy furniture. I was treated for about 45 minutes or so and began to feel the tension in my neck dissipate as I sat there. I've had acupuncture before and have never experienced nearly immediate improvements like I did there. I'm planning my next visit already. I highly recommend giving it a shot. read more

SO I have never truly had a full on "Acupuncture" treatment, but this was a lot more than I ever expected! I felt that I had stolen something because I had such a great deal! When arriving at the location on Cass Street, there was a few happy people but there was a particularity attractive Asian woman at the front desk. "Hello, I am Eva, do you have an appointment with us this morning?" she spoke to me as I blushed. I respond that I did in fact have an appointment and that a friend had gifted me with a free treatment. She respond back, "Great, here is this form, fill it out and I will be with you shortly." The place was very cool as I walked in, the space just opened up into the office/clinic area and it was very cool inside. The summer heat has been torching me as of late and to be out of it and not to be sweating was great for me. Once the form was filled out, this cute girl Eva was going over it for me and I was getting a bit nervous about this because I had to look tough to the cute girl and I this "big tough guy" and stuff, right? .....Right? (gulp) Okay, so I do not like Needles! I said it! Once in the chair in the back of the clinic which is a really cool room! It was slightly dimmly lit but enough to see where you were going and to see what was around you too. Chill music and I sat down and Eva asked me a few questions and if I was ready to begin. She was so smooth and gentle that I had no idea that I had a needle placed into me. She was like an acupuncture ninja or something! NExt thing I know is that my back muscle just relaxes and opens up. I could figuratively feel the stress pouring out of my back! Then the thought of my friend who had purchased the gift card came to my mind, "What a sweet friend, she must had spent a fortune on me." After a few more needles where placed in me, I feel asleep and relaxed completely. I mean zoned out! It was an amazing nap for me! Soon I woke up with Eva nudging me, "Whoa, cute girl waking me up! I am so grateful for the Source Wellness Center! I had lost all function to my left arm and hand. The injury was unexplainable and after multiple MRIs, my primary Doctor and Neurologist could not determine a cure much less the source of the problem. I was wrongly diagnosed at one point and told I needed a neck surgery. Later to discover this was not the case; surgery was not necessary. I was left with no answers and was advised by my primary Doctor that I waited too long to address the problem; that it would most likely would be a permanent disability. It felt like a nightmare and as a self-employed Esthetician I was unable to work. However, that was proven wrong after a few acupuncture treatments and herbal supplements prescribed by Dr. Simone. I woke up with excruciating shoulder and neck pain about a month ago and was down for the count. After a couple days I went to a chiropractor, got massages was constantly icing, etc., but I couldn't get the muscles in my neck and back to finally release. OK, true confession... I have avoided acupuncture for decades. I am not a fan of needles and anything sharp that goes into my skin was something to avoid.
